He was in the training grounds with weights on his arms and legs doing some practice swings and working on his form. He wanted to improve in every aspect, from his technique, speed, strength, etc. It was fairly empty at the training grounds which gave Kiyo an idea. He had made a promise on his code to let Calliope Pavlina use her sorcery on him and if it worked as well as it did when she described it it might provide some good training. He would stop his training for a moment to send a message: 'Calliope Pavlina, I am at the training grounds and wish to repay my debt. Please meet me here if you have time for it - Kiyomaru of the Fujiwara Clan' and hit send. Whether Calli replied or not he would continue on, focusing his strikes and building up a sweat in the process. Calliope

Her days had been fairly normal. There wasn't much to say about how things had been after the Sports Festival. Things were normal for her, as Calli still had to focus on school and making sure that she could be the best version of herself.

With her phone buzzing as she had just gotten dressed from taking a shower, she'd smile at the text she got. "Little samurai huh..." It looked like he was all healed up and wanted to continue where they left off. She'd dry her hair more and start to head down there. Thankfully because she also had a dorm on campus, it wasn't going to be as long of a trip.

Going down to where he had told her to go, she'd look around and then wave when she spotted him. She wasn't expecting that he would wave back, but it was the thought that counted. "Fujiwara-san!" she'd try to be more honorific, but she honestly wasn't sure if she was using it correctly. "Thanks for the invite, I came as fast as I could." Calli was wearing a beige tank top, black sweatpants, her hair tied up, and some good sneakers. "I'm ready for whatever! What're we doing?"

Once she was close enough, she would look over him. Oh, he had a good physique. She didn't really care about things like that, but she couldn't help but stare a bit. "That is my name, don't wear it out!" With a big smirk, she wondered how he would call her moving forward. Would there be a forward where they were in contact a lot? She honestly wasn't sure.

At the idea of Kiyomaru prioritizing her, she felt her cheeks get all red. It wasn't fair that he could so easily say that and not even look in her direction. Things like that are what made Calli think that he cared, but she wasn't sure with his demeanor. "I-I see..." She'd cough a bit and try to instead focus on his form.

"Oh, you... Want me to while you're swinging?" She'd pause for a moment, before she'd move to be in front of him, looking at him in his eyes. It took a few moments because he wasn't looking at her, but she eventually got the angle. "And then what...? Just look at you until you're done?"

Calli realized that perhaps using humor wasn't the best option. He didn't understand basic things, so trying to make jokes probably wasn't going to do much at all. She would open her mouth and try to clarify, before just closing it up again and accepting her fate. She would let him think what he wanted about it, because that was probably better than trying to explain it to him.

"I won't just ask anything of you." The thought kind of confused her; she wasn't wanting Kiyomaru to just be her little slave to her every command. Sure, he felt that he was in her debt, but she wasn't going to make him do things that he didn't want to do. "Just doing this with me is enough." As time went on and she didn't really see him react the way that others did, she didn't want to believe it. "Does it really not work?" It felt surreal to her because this didn't happen. "I'm... Normal." Her voice was small as she spoke those words, as if her own belief of it was betraying her.

As she made this revelation, she would take a deep breath and look to Kiyomaru with all her confidence mustered up. "Would you... Want to be friends?" If she could have someone that she could look at no matter how... She knew she wanted to hold onto that. "I mean... I think you're cool." She would comment, not wanting it to all be about that she could look at him. "I'd like to be around you more."

Calli would feel something deep inside of her as she realized that nothing was happening. She wasn't sure who this person was, but it had to be something fate like, right? She was sure that it had to be something like fate. There was no other reason. "Most avoid me too." She'd confess. Though she had a lot people that talked to her, there wasn't a lot of people that really looked at her the way that he did. Even if there was no emotion behind his eyes when he looked at her, he didn't avoid her gaze.

She felt her face contort into a warm smile. He didn't have any friends, and Calli didn't have anyone other than her sister that truly understood her. "I'm sorry that you haven't had any friends before, but I'll make sure that I'm a great fucking friend!" She'd pat at her own chest, puffing it up and making herself look taller than she actually was. "You know, being able to look someone in the eyes is so nice! Plus your eyes are pretty. It's one thing I wish I could admire, but people almost immediately look away when I try to look back at them." She wouldn't break eye contact with Kiyomaru, her eyes being soft and excited about her newfound ability to look at him.

"Since you're done training, did you want to get something to eat?" She'd look back over his body for a moment, trying not to let her eyes stray too much. "Anything that you want, we can go get." Putting her hands on her hips, she'd wait for him to get ready to leave and decide where he wanted to go.
