He could risk it and go to the finish line... or he could send a message. He didn't care about winning or losing at this point. He just wanted to make a point. A point that said on thing very very clear. He created a platform above him and trampolined himself onto the ground. He would roll on his shoulder to stick the landing and slid around to face the incoming lady. Leo took a heavy stance as he reabsorbed almost everything into his suit. "You don't fight like a hero..." He mumbled, reaching back and balling his right hand into a fist. "You fight like a showoff without patience." He released his punch and the energy he had gathered into a single point, creating a wide-spanning attack that would be for sure hard to dodge. If she remained hidden he probably would have had a hard time hitting her, but with the lady in hot pursuit, there was no way he could miss. The shockwave of the punch exploded most of the windows it came into contact with as it barrelet towards its intended target. He wasn't aiming to kill, but the blunt force would be more than enough to hurt a fair bit. It was meant to smack her good, get her off balance. That alone would give him time to cross the line.

Uncertain of herself, failing to find her footing, even going so far as to try and find a way to prove herself in the worst way possible. What he was facing was not a novice, though. Her instinct, upon seeing him move to the ground, was not to charge in but to evaluate the situation and act accordingly. And based on what she was seeing, he was no doubt preparing to face her head on. She couldn't help but sigh; this exercise was not going the way she wanted it to. And so for a moment she'd light on top of a pipe, looking down at him. "The more the exercise goes on, the more I feel like you don't belong here," she says, flexing her fingers. "I don't like to trample on people's dreams, but you're brash, arrogant, you don't know how to ask questions-" She was anticipating an attack, but she wasn't expecting it to be as wide as it was. She leapt up into the air, managing to get out of most of the wave, but her foot got caught on the tail end, putting her in a spin. If she wasn't angry before, she was angry now; granted, this one was her own fault, but that didn't stop her from experiencing the emotion. It did help her in her own way; she'd summon up another hammer, this time in her hand and sent it straight up, effectively allowing her to recover. "You're just another poozer who just wants a license to do whatever you want in the name of the government!" She'd let the first hammer fade, creating a second that she'd send directly at Leo. He seemed like the type that just didn't get it, and so she was going to be forced to do things his way. Leo Kaiser

There she was, as expected she would have to reduce her range to be more accurate around cover. He now had direct line of sight! His next platform changed direction, rebounding him from the goal and towards the opponent. He just needed one split second for the killshot. One second and she'd be gone from his troubles and he could win. For a very split moment, Leonard relapsed. In the heat of the moment his instinct switched back to the time where he had to be the sole survivor. He formed a sword in his hand again and was more than ready to impale her front to back when a familiar set of buildings caused an image of Mirou flash in his mind. The moment when she threw the match because carrying on was overkill. Overkill. Over...kill... ...kill. He lost focus, flinched. Completely Missed in the most spectacular fashion. Before he knew the hammer thing hit him square in the chest and sent him down on the floor, pinning him there. That little race of theirs was over. He was done. He lost.

The hard hammer hit would force him back, down to the ground again. She also landed, but her landing was far from pristine. Between the earlier centripetal force and the shock traveling up her body she momentarily fell to her knees, gritting her teeth and taking a few breaths to recover. "You have talent, but you fail to see the bigger picture." She'd stand back up, stepping within ten feet of him. "You destroyed part of the course, which could have had civilians, you made your presence known to literally everyone in the field, which could have endangered your mission, and you didn't even think about the time limit I gave you. Did you?" She dusted herself off, debating cutting her lecture off short; wouldn't do her any good. "Just because some heroes get off with doing awful things doesn't mean you'll be let off with a pass." Leo Kaiser

All things considered he did pretty well. If he didn't catch himself there he would have accidentally killed the orange haired lady. After a moment he hopped back up on his feet and dusted off his shiny jet black suit. "Spare me your condescending remarks." He simply stated. "I have little need of them, nor do I particularly care. If you wanna insult me, you need to find a better way. I've been called worse for lesser." Looked like the exercise was over. He waved his battlesuit away into smoke with a flick of the wrist. "Besides, you are one to talk. You certainly don't fight like a hero. You fight like a coward." He stated dryly. "Word of advice, pissing people off by attacking from the side quickly instigates collateral damage as people try to force you out." The white haired ex-villain explained. "All in all, I just gave a small taste of what will happen if you cat and mouse people too much. Could have tecnically razed everything to the ground, but I'm trying to do things as "heroes" should do."

If you're trying to play things as the hero here, then not only are your actions unacceptable, you're failing to understand what my place in this situation is." She'd wince again, leaning over to put her hands on her knees as she took slow deep breaths to recover. "Besides, I'm not exactly operating at a hundred percent here..." She'd close her eyes, shaking her head. "You claim that I fight like a coward, but might doesn't make right. There's applying your strengths through methods of brute force, and then there's utilizing that power in a tactful way. I'm just guessing, but you seem to be able to blend in more with the environment. Gamma has a lot of hiding places, and you could have much more easily slipped into the shadows and made your way to the exit. Why didn't you do that?" Leo Kaiser

"The entirety of the system function on the concept that the hero swoops into the place clad in shiny armor, does a flashy move and beats the bad guy." The figure walked closer, boots squealing lightly. He offered his hand at her. "I...fought a few heroes." He stated, unsure. "In this field, you have to make other people like you, otherwise you're not really going to succeed. Without sponsors and fame, a hero is just a less qualified police officer. Hell, even less so. If you don't pull in views, a hero association will not keep you around, so you will not make ends meet" The white haired ex-villain explained. "From a tactical standpoint, it's an axe to the leg. But in the bigger picture, unless you sell yourself you're going to fail as a hero."

"Sorry, I don't...do touch well. Sorry." She took a half step back, sighing. "There is nothing wrong with the police. They take on a more traditional role and perform tasks that heroes are either not equipped to handle or don't have the capability. But more importantly, you need to look at heroes more as an arm of the justice system and not...whatever this fame nonsense is." She seemed to bristle at that, shaking her head as she looked away. "The fame, the money, the power that a lot of these modern heroes exude is disgusting. It's not what we should be striving to be. We should be working to uphold the law and protecting the public, not racing to make the next headline. The sooner we can make that change, the better." She looked back at Leo, doing her best to make eye contact. "Session's over. If you want to train again, feel free to reach out." There wasn't much emotion behind the last sentiment, but she was tired and in some level of pain. It was time to go take a nap. Leo Kaiser

He had forgotten he was still kind of a monster for many other students. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely. As far as I can tell, heroes right now are all about pr. The fact I'm here is proof enough. I'm a villain, or at least was. Yet here I am, living a lie while my probation is used to show how great heroes are that they can rehabilitate villains into heroes." The young man folded his hands for a moment, before stuffing his pockets. "Tell me, were I to save people. Actually be a Hero and all. Would people stop thinking about my past?" He shrugged, he didn't really care but he was making a point. "I don't think so. They will still point the figer eventually. Were I to slip up, and the accusation of being a villain would return right that moment. Even now, I'm only doing this because it's a better alternative to a prison cell." The white haired ex-villain explained. "If you are into justice you should have chosen another line of work. Perhaps an attorney or a judge. Here? It's all about smoke and mirrors. I will be pleasantly surprised if you can prove me wrong though. In any case yeah. Thanks for the training. For your sake, I'd avoid my company. I'm not exactly... hip with the kids, as I have told you."
