Jun wasn't wrong, even if it was the pot calling the kettle black. She was weird by conventional standards and that was due to her upbringing. She wasn't able to have a normal childhood so dealing with people was seen less as a necessity or desire and more as an end to means.[break][break]
She fully intended to walk away and be done with this, having had enough Jun for today when the gem activation caught her in the chains Jun usually summoned. Ylva's expression quickly changed from content to angry. "I don't care if it's on purpose or not; get these off." If this was Jun's attempt to make her stick around it was in fact going to do the opposite. She waited for Jun to do something, watching her try to chip away at her chains before taking matters into her own hands. She would place a hand on the chains surrounding her and freeze them, smashing them with her fist after. Continuing to do this until she was free she didn't say another word instead leaving Jun to figure this out for herself.[break][break]

Shrugging in response to Kiku not accepting the rag, she'd put it away. If Kiku wanted to stain her clothes, then that would be fine with her. She wasn't the one sitting around in filth but at least she was agreeable to clean up the mess she caused. If she had declined Ylva wouldn't have minded either but as long as she wasn't chatty she didn't have a reason to leave and come back when the place was truly empty. [break][break]
"That's not what these are for." She wasn't exactly forthcoming with her ties to the Internation Cuisine Club as offering Janine food was already one person too many. Lifting up a bag of compost she would pause as she watched Kiku use her quirk again. This time, she picked up on the spores rather than focusing on the mushroom produced, which made more sense. That in itself was at least a bit more useful than just creating mushrooms by themselves. "Yes, that usually how compost works." Ylva wasn't exactly unfeeling, but morbid descriptions of things never bothered her. [break][break]

Ylva raised an eyebrow. Andy got a boyfriend? That was something she never expected; after all who would date that fire truck of a person? She was terrible. Ylva had to assume whoever this boyfriend was it was someone who was deaf or someone who dreamed of poking their eardrums out. Her brow furled, and her eyes narrowed at Misaki's teasing. "I have zero interest in anything like that." Had Ylva thought about that from time to time? Sure but dealing with another person who talked all the time and wanted to do things quickly pushed those thoughts aside.[break][break]
With Misaki serious Ylva sighed normally she would reject the very idea and coming from anyone but Misaki would have gotten a resounding no. They hadn't talked since the Sports Festival and Andy was too awkward to say anything about it. "Fine, I'll fix her quirk for her." Nothing a little super move practice wouldn't fix a trial by fire...or ice in Ylva's case, although she made a mental note to do some more reading on what exactly her quirk was at a molecular level. Maybe there was something else there?[break][break]
Misaki's singing wasn't exactly rare. She sang all the time in the dorm, so Ylva waited for her to finish before assuming a stance. "Get ready." Ylva wasn't even sure this would work as she cupped her hands together in an orb shape and concentrated her energy to fill in the space. When she activated it she had a ball of ice which...wasn't what she was going for. She would try again, this time overlapping the energy in the space, and this time, when she froze it, it only froze the exterior.[break][break]

As Kiku stood up Ylva's eyes silently followed, she was slightly taller than Ylva which was to be expected as she herself was pretty sure and was pretty plain. Her eyes narrowed as she noted that Kiku was another redhead which in Ylva's experience with Jun and Masao usually meant someone who wouldn't stop talking and was overly preachy. In simpler terms, extremely annoying. [break][break]
Much to her surprise Kiku didn't say anything even after Ylva waited for her to open her mouth and say something stupid or grove in apology about something that, while not great, was clearly an accident. It's not like this was Ylva's plot anyway, so it didn't bother her too much that someone ruined some of the produce, plus most of her basket of what she collected was unharmed. If anything, she'd just take something else from another plot and let Janine know so she could pay the person back...or better yet, she could just take it from the rich girl who had that yacht party. Before the Sports Festival and the fallout of her "loss" Ylva would have just walked away or told the girl to leave but instead she let her curiosity get the best of her and watched as the girl created mushrooms out of thin air. With the raise of an eyebrow she watched her pluck one and attempt to hand it to her with Ylva, curious to see if these were real, taking it and eyeballing it. It was indeed the real thing but that begged the question, what kind of quirk made someone grow mushrooms? Probably a Support Course or Business Course since she couldn't think of any real use for mushrooms on the front lines. Hell, even Masao had a more suitable quirk for the Hero Course than just mushrooms. [break][break]
"I can see that." Ylva said flatly. Ylva was wearing black overalls, a T-shirt, and gardening gloves so when she took a hand out of one of the gloves she put it in the front pocket while taking out a clean towel she had put away earlier. Ylva would flash freeze it and then let the ice melt into water before wringing it out and handing it to Kiku like she did to her. If she didn't accept it Ylva would simply put it back in her pocket and assuming Kiku didn't say anything more she would bend back down and work on harvesting the potatoes and carrots that were still in one piece, pushing the broken ones to the side to throw in the compost later.

It was pretty difficult to catch Ylva off-guard due to her quirk, and Kiku was no exception. From the moment Ylva entered the greenhouse, she could sense the presence of another individual in the opposite corner. In what would be considered an unusual move Ylva had joined the International Cuisine Club. It was mostly due to the recommendation by the counselor, but she didn't have to choose this specific club. Truthfully she picked it because she liked to cook and after the sports festival, she was missing home. The easiest way to get that feeling back was to make some dishes from her homeland, with Frikadeller and Råkost being the first ones that came to mind.[break][break]
So she took a detour to the Green Club's greenhouse to get some fresh veggies. She didn't exactly have any friends there but she had a mutual deal with the treasurer, Janine. Ylva would bring Janine leftovers of anything she made and Janine would allow Ylva access to some of the vegetables. Of course Ylva only went when things were quiet, she didn't want to have to make small talk with anyone if she could help it. Not too many people understood the value of peace and quiet, all her fellow students wanted to stop and chat. [break][break]
So in the corner of the greenhouse where she had permission to, she dug up a few potatoes and carrots silently adding them to her bag. "Yes." Ylva almost rolled her eyes. What else would she have been talking about? Apparently, Jun didn't come here with a full deck today, which was not ideal since Ylva actually wanted to get things done. "Depends on how good you are at what you do. Like I said, I'll be number one, and my track record will show it." She had recently been interested in a potential internship with Setting Sun. One of the members, who was an upperclassman, had asked her about it, and while this wasn't the first time someone asked, it was the first time she actually showed an interest. An agency that valued getting the job done over flair? It was like it was made for her. [break][break]
The dome she had formed around her made it especially hard to move, it was as if the ice that was creeping up her arms was locking her body up. If this worked on her, then the only thing left to test was on Jun. "No, but we'll find out." When Jun would step inside she'd find the same thing happening to her except all over her body, slowing her down significantly. As Ylva kept going, she would test out the field first, trying to extend it further, but found that when she did, the field started to collapse on itself. Next she took a few steps forward and found that the field moved with her as the center.[break][break]
Once she felt that she had gotten a significant amount of information on her new ability she would release her freeze, the area and herself returning to normal. "That's three. It should be good enough for now. Thanks." She'd turn to leave as she had gotten what she wanted, hopefully Jun wouldn't try to keep her around with another speech. [break][break]

Largely uninterested as always, Ylva continued to read her book as she listened to the chattier of their group ask Denchi question after question. Of course, Jun was trying to understand the motive behind Denchi, which made Ylva internally roll her eyes. She's not a good person, that's clear. Only an idiot lost their way and it wasn't like the rest of them weren't stuck with different quirks. [break][break]
Gen, of course, was his usual arrogant self, but at least it was better than Jun trying to make friends with her. She tried to kill them so why would she care what happened to her? She made her choice. With everyone focused on Denchi and her adrenaline spiking as she pushed herself Ylva could feel some people approaching the room. "You're going to want to move so the nurses can get through." moments later they would open the door and Ylva would go back to reading. So far this wasn't even close to being worth her time.[break][break]
It then clicked with her, Jusou Saku? She would close her book and stare in the direction of Denchi. That was a name she could have sworn she had heard before, and they surely weren't famous; otherwise, the others would have said something. With her little breakthrough, she felt better about this whole situation, and that was the only reason she didn't add 'that's probably why you failed your class' to Jun. With her grasp of the concept quicker than expected, she wanted to test it on a large scale. If making a space the size of her area of influence was out of the question, maybe a few meters? "Okay, I've got a hold of it." She needed to keep the energy consistent; too little and time would flow normally, too much, and she'd freeze the space. She would hold out her arms in front of her and do the same as before, making a large bubble. "Fire one of your cannonballs through this." By inverting her quirk, she can produce heat and fire instead of her normal cold and ice. Mechanically, this works differently than Eternal Winter as she is required to manifest energy (visible to others), which turns a red/orange instead of the standard blue and flows outward from her body. Perhaps she spoke too soon about Jun not being as preachy as Andy. "That's a given. If we were enemies, do you think I'd work with any of you? We have connections with everyone by just going to the school. There's no need to do anything more than that." She was getting close to scraping the whole thing, and what Jun said next nearly put her over the edge. She'd make eye contact with Jun, unblinking as she stared her down. "Don't project your nonsense onto me."[break][break]
She'd break her focus on her project and take a few steps back, facing Jun. "I've already mastered two separate super moves." She would hold her palm out above her head and let the blue energy pour out, which would soon shift to a red/orange color, and then a spark would ignite it, producing a stream of fire that sent as a wave of heat over the area. She would close her palm as the fire would sizzle and was snuffed out shortly after. [break][break]
