Nobody in particular??? Talk about suspicious! Maybe she really was in much more trouble than she had first suspected. No one good would respond that cryptically, right? Not unless THEY thought Freja was a villain or some criminal, but how could they? She didn't look like a bandit or anything like that, right? ''Down?'' She furrowed her brow and followed his direction. At first she thought he meant the tracks, or footprints. ''P-Poison?'' Her face grew pale, she hadn't seen the wire at all! If this guy hadn't showed up and shouted at her, who knows what would have happened to her by now. ''How did you-'' She paused and looked at his gaze, seeing that he wasn't looking at her she instead followed it.

Slowly, she started backing away from the wire, sweating as she could only imagine what stepping a poison arrow trap was like. ''Y-Yeah I guess..'' She muttered, still a little shook from how close that was. ''Huh? Odd?'' Well, her trip up here had been pretty normal for the most part. She didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, or maybe she just wasn't looking. Actually... ''There were these big tracks, uh, like paw or footprints? But they were way big, like they belonged to a big animal, or some kind of big transformation quirk.'' She gestured the entire time, as if she could accurately draw the footprint from memory in the air. She definitely couldn't. ''B-But that's all! Aside from that I didn't see anything.'' She looked him over one more time. Absolutely not a villain or criminal unless he was pulling some kind of fake out on her.

''Thank you, by the way, Mr?'' Hopefully she could get a name out of him.

Freja's brain was immediately working overtime when she whiffed her blow. What would be the best course of action? How could she protect Zenkai and defeat the enemy at the same time? Her eyes widened as she saw the blade coming for her, unable to raise her bat to parry, unable to dodge, or do anything but have her second life flash before her eyes. Her life would no doubt had ended there, had Zenkai not shoved her out of the way. It took her a moment, but when she came to she looked up at the blood dripping from their arm in horror. ''Zenkai!!''

She never got used to seeing them get hurt, damn it they were far too reckless. If they survived this ideal she definitely needed to have a talk with Zenkai about that. Scrambling to get onto her feet, Freja prepared her bat and charged after Zenkai, doing her best to suppress all the doubts and worries in her mind. There was time for all that when they were no longer being threatened. Why did she always get caught up in her own emotions while she was in the middle of a fight? Zenkai, Farrin, Miroru, Eiji, they were out here fighting with everything on the line and all Freja could do was worry and feel powerless by comparison.

Inside, she felt like crying, but her face was cold as she closed in one their enemy, once more aiming a swing at her legs. She swung harder this time, perhaps out of a subconscious desire to protect her friend.

Zenkai Hatake

And once again she was back here. Among the trees and the soft soil of the forest. She came out here when she had a lot on her mind and needed to get away from the noise and pollution of Tokyo. Recently what was plaguing her wasn't just her own mind going crazy as her personality was being formed from the fusion of Elias and Freja, but it was also the event that had transpired in Nerima. The way the earth golems just appeared out of nowhere, the earthquakes that shook the ground and destroyed buildings around her. Her friends fighting for their lives alongside her, one of them ending up in the hospital and for the longest time, Freja wasn't even sure she was going to make it.

It was a lot and she needed to get away.

Unlike the first couple times she had come out here, Freja looked much less like a city girl, wearing practical clothing, although in reality it was just running shoes and athletic wear, so she probably didn't look like someone who went hiking often either... Naturally she had brought her bat too. There were some big animals that lived out there and while Freja wasn't sure she could take any of them down, she was a lot more safe carrying her weapon than going out without it. She had made that mistake one too many times, even in the city.

Walking down one of the less travelled paths, Freja paused as she noticed something on the ground. ''Tracks?'' She crouched down, as if taking a closer look would tell her what had left it there. Unfortunately, she knew exactly nothing about tracking. It could be an animal or a quirked up human using a transformation or mutation power for all she knew.

And so she once again found herself in another training exercise. She was incredibly nervous, especially since her exercise with Rin went so poorly, all because Freja didn't have a quirk. At least, that was the reason she had told herself at the time. She had done a lot of training since, she was hardly the same student now as she was back then, but she couldn't help but shake that feeling. What if she wasn't enough? What if she was the reason her and her partner failed this next training exercise?

She had arrived early, standing at the entrance to Ground Beta to wait for her teammate to show up. Her nerves were getting to her and it wasn't like her warm up routine was that complicated, being without a quirk and all. Did people with quirks even warm up their powers before use? These were things she simply didn't know. Looking down at her bat, she held it firmly. She had a strong weapon, she had skills with it, and her partner was probably kickass too. Yeah, they were going to do great! That was what she had to tell herself. As many times as she needed to until she started believing it herself. She didn't have a hero costume yet, so she had just showed up in her standard UA athletic wear, opting to tying her long hair back in a ponytail so that it wouldn't get in the way during the exercise.

Panya Echiiro... She knew next to nothing about him, maybe she had passed him in the hallways once? He was definitely part of the hero course too, but sometimes she found the classes so big that it was impossible to get a sense of who everyone was unless you met them outside of class.

Blind sense seemed like absolute witchcraft to her. She got the basics of how it worked, how you could listen for footsteps, or maybe even your opponents breathing depending on the environment, but that was about it. Unless it was your quirk or something, Freja just didn't get how it could be trained so efficiently... Maybe that was just a testament as to how much she relied on her eyes. In fact, now that she thought about it, she had absolutely no counter to being blinded. Maybe she should look into that.

For now she was happy to have Sho demonstrate just how useful it could be. Thinking her feint might have a chance at throwing him off his game, she was sorely mistaken when she suddenly found his blade back at her throat, causing her to stop nervously and swallow as her eyes went wide. It happened so fast she barely even registered it! Was she too focused on her offense and not on her defense? She wanted to see how good she was, and hopefully learn something from Sho in the process, but she had a feeling that all she was going to leave with today was more questions than answers. ''E-Even I can learn that?'' Phew, she should really consider it. As a quirkless, she had to rely on any and every little advantage she could get. If she couldn't obtain a quirk, then why not learn to fight with her eyes closed. Sure, it was situational, but her ingenuity was pretty much all she had to rely on when she couldn't overcome someone with sheer power alone. ''I'll try it! I think it could really help me elevate my game.'' It was hard to hide the excitement in her smile, she was more apprehensive at the thought of learning how to handle a sword. ''I see! Thank you for teaching me today, sensei.'' She bowed her head politely. ''I appreciate the offer but, blades kind of freak me out, they require so much control and in my field of work it wouldn't look good if I end up cutting someone down.'' She smiled sheepishly. Maybe a knife would do? Having some kind of a back-up weapon certainly couldn't hurt, since she had already experienced getting disarmed during a fight and paying dearly for it several times over. ''I'm gonna train for a bit on my own, then I'll be back to learn more from you.'' She put her hands together and bowed again before leaving. ''Thank you for your time!''

Shō Matsui

The second Miroru looked back at her, a spark of interest lit in the woman's eyes, as if in that very moment she was able to confirm that the student was indeed a hero student belonging to UAU like she had hoped. ''That's right, you're quite the smart one.'' She grinned, her conspicuous fangs on display as her stare grew more intense, bloodthirsty, hungry. ''I see. What a well-articulated answer. You are a hero student, are you not? Prism, if I'm not mistaken?''

There was a brief moment's silence as Miroru shifted and asked her question, then suddenly, smoke would cover the woman's face, before hardening into bigger, smoke construct fangs as she lunged forward and attempted to bite into Miroru's shoulder. ''Give me your head! Let me kill you!!'' She hissed.

Where was Miroru? Freja had stopped for a second to rest and catch her breath. Had she gotten their meeting spot all wrong? Looking down at her phone she reviewed the information again, only to see she had misread some of their conversation. Curse you, Kanji! At least she had arrived at the right park, just the wrong end of it. She wasn't really up for running anymore, so she hoped Miroru wouldn't mind if she just strolled the rest of the way and was a few minutes late. She would make sure to apologize profusely once she saw her.

“As cursed as me? It sounds like you’re the constant in this equation.” She pointed an accusatory finger at them. “Besides, I already know her, she’s one of my roommates.” Those sounded like some crazy antics. Plant dude rampaging, disarming a bomb? Maybe she should count herself lucky about the turtle encounter.

“What?” She looked up at them. If she didn’t blush before, it was impossible to hide the red on her face after their gesture. As strange as it probably sounded, part of her forgot she was in a woman’s body sometimes. It only made her doubly flustered when Zenkai reminded her. “Y-Y-You would find that funny, wouldn’t you?! Your head is full of brain rot!” She quickly covered her chest with her arms as they continued walking, happily taking the chance to change subjects so her face wouldn’t stay tomato red. “It’s not like I want to! You know Farrin, right? Farrin O’Rourke. He was showing me a place that sells hero equipment when some weird villains appeared out of a murder of crows.” She reached up to pull some of her shirt aside to show a nasty scar she had gotten across her upper shoulder. “One of them had knives.” She shuddered, “I’d probably be dead if it wasn’t for his time power thing.” She sounded both grateful, but also bummed out that she needed quirk assistance to pick a fight.

“Really? I could’ve sworn you looked like you’ve been here for years.” It was probably their relaxed demeanor. She could never really tell what was going on with Zen. Most of their moods she was aware of was sleepy, lazy, happy, happy drunk and supportive drunk… Now that she thought about it, had Zenkai ever gotten angry? Annoyed, sure, but angry angry? “Ohh so you have siblings too?” She smiled, “I figured you were an only child.”

She looked up at the bun, “yeah, quite a lot of hair.” What he said next was outrageous, but critically, it was true. “What?! I know how to braid! Look at my long hair!” She protested, holding up a gray lock of hair. “I grew up with a sister too, you know!” A sister Elias had been too busy constantly fighting with to actually bond over the little things. “I’ll make you look ten times cuter! So cute they’ll rename it to Zenkai Day.” She smirked confidently and couldn't help but crack a laugh at her own silly joke.
