[attr="class","likedoinfo"]Missions are specific tasks undertaken in order to earn Experience (EXP). Each character may receive up to 15,000 EXP per month by completing Missions. Players are free to submit as many Missions a month as they please until they reach their EXP cap, but keep in mind you do not need to submit missions when they're completed! If you're at the EXP cap you are more than welcome to submit them when the next month comes!
Missions do not have a minimum or maximum word count for submission. The only requirements are that the Thread is complete, is not a Solo, reasonably fits within the below criteria, and is of quality work. We ask that you evaluate your threads carefully before submitting them as Missions by ensuring they read as a complete narrative! Once you post the mission in the Thread Inbox, a staff member will review the thread, and as long as it passes the criteria for a complete narrative, your character will be tagged and rewarded EXP!
Our site has two types of Missions: Nonthreatening and Threatening. The difference between what makes up a non-threatening and threatening thread comes down to risk. In general, anything that comes with a risk to a character (physically, mentally, etc.) will be able to count as a threatening mission, while more mundane/slice-of-life threads fall under the nonthreatening type:
Nonthreatening Missions are the everyday, mundane sort of activities that pose no risk to an individual. Some examples of these include an afternoon at a coffee shop, working out at the gym with a friend, going out for drinks, or being at a party with friends and things of that nature. They are typically on the smaller scale of things. Completion of a Nonthreatening Mission yields 5,000 EXP.
Threatening Missions, however, are the challenges that pose tangible levels of danger to those involved. These are missions akin to fighting a villain in the streets, rescuing people from a disaster zone, doing a school simulation/class that can result in the participants getting hurt and things of that nature. The scale of these Missions tends to vary, so Threatening Missions could be considered very vast in scope. Completing a Threatening Mission yields 7,500 EXP.
In order to submit a Mission, you must fill out the following form with a completed thread and send it to the Thread Inbox for review:

[attr="class","likedoinfo"]Missions and event threads can also have a Group Bonus. If at least 5 people have actively taken part in the thread, an additional 2,500 EXP is added to the total reward, which will count towards the monthly EXP cap. A nonthreatening mission with 5 participants for example will yield 7,500 EXP, while a threatening mission will reward 10,000 EXP.
