[attr="class","likedoinfo"]The Business Registry is a collection of concrete businesses that have been submitted by players to help color the World of FFJ. They are the sort of places that all players are free to reference and use in their threads. Remember that Businesses, like NPCs, should not exist to solve all of your character's problems in the form of a get-out-of-jail-free card. If the staff team feels that something does not fit the site lore, is breaking any site rules, or is abusing the Business Registry System, they reserve the right to dismiss and retcon the Business out of the site's canon.

Anyone can make a business and have it be run by one of their own characters or NPCs. If you would like to submit an addition to the Businesses, all you need to do is read the below rules and create a thread:

• Make sure that your Business is consistent with the site lore/setting.
• Try to make sure that you are not copying someone else's entry in the Business Registry. While there can be multiple entries of the same type of business (like a cafe, for example), try to distinguish your business from someone else's.
• To get your business recognized, submit a Misc. request into the Thread Inbox. In your Thread's Title, be sure to use at least one of the tags listed in the Categories below.
