Tokyo, The Dream World Festival, 7:00 pm.
It happened so suddenly. No one was really sure what 'it' was, but people were dropping like flies around you, the entire Dream World festival affected by this mysterious phenomenon. People were falling asleep and many found their quirks to be swapped with others in an erratic manner. The dreams people found themselves in were hellscapes, but the others didn't fare much better in the waking world.
Not that the waking world means much of anything to you anymore.
Whisked away into a dream, your real body remains in the waking world, but you have arrived somewhere entirely different. With or without your quirk, with or without loved ones, the situation is dire.
Will you ever find your way back home? Is there even such a thing as a way back, or has your life in purgatory just begun?
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beneath the Waves, the Dream, 7:00 pm??
The sensation would overtake you before your eyes would open, and you would sink. Surrounded by water the surface being a far-off point above you. No chance you'd be able to swim up, that's for sure. Whether you panic or not, eventually, you feel your back touch down on the sand below you, oddly cool to the touch, and if one were to investigate, they'd soon find out why this was the dream world.
A world where physics was flimsy at best. If any of the dreamers were to move, they'd soon realize that they could swim and...stand??? As if they weren't under the ocean at all.
If any of the dreamers could calm down enough, they'd not only realize that they could breathe down here but also get a look at their surroundings. As if they were a natural part of the ecosystem, fish darted around, and plant life swayed in the currents without a care. Even still, everyone could feel how unnatural this place was in the pit of their stomach despite what they would be taking in visually. Perhaps one individual with some new frog-like senses would be able to pick up on the presence of the translucent woman not too far off from their location before the others?
Even if the small frog in the big pond or the others didn't notice her, she would make her appearance known by speaking from a distance, which traveled effortlessly, almost as if she was right beside them. "Welcome, travelers!" she seemed oddly chipped, given the circumstances. "After a long journey, you're almost at the end of your travels!" ...okay sure. She'd continue, "Unfortunately, there's only one way out, and it's down. Past my "body" there is a break in the ocean floor, and there you'll find an orange jewel which you'll need if you want to leave but...no one has managed to find it so far. You could be different!" with that she'd fall silent and within moments would fade, swept away by the slow-moving currents.
Now, it was up to the three gathered here. Was it wise to follow the strange woman's suggestion? Could they really trust anything here? At least for the time being, there didn't seem to be any urgency, and there was plenty of time for the group to make a decision. Hopefully, it would be the right one.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her day together with Sumi at the festival had been nothing short of magical so far. Was it a date, or just two friends hanging out? She wanted it to be something more, but she didn't know what Sumi wanted. She had to know, she had to tell her how she felt. She remembered asking Farrin for advice, maybe since today had been so good now was the time to confess? They both stood there enjoying the view of the park, her eyes wandering for a moment as she looked at a tree off in the distance, building up the courage. ''Sumi, I...'' She started quietly, then took a deep breath. ''I-I like you.'' She could feel her face turn bright red. ''L-Like more than a friend, I really, really like you! I never thought I could like a person, or be allowed to living like this, b-but I have to get it out! I have to tell you!'' She just blurted it out. ''Maybe we could...'' She finally turned to look at Sumi, only to see that she had fainted. ''Sumi?'' She blinked her eyes, hoping she was just hallucinating. Then others around them started fainting too. ''Sumi!'' She tried to wake her up by shaking her. An enemy quirk attack? Of course now of all times when she didn't have her bat with her. Wasn't the security at this place top notch? In case someone was watching them she dragged Sumi and herself behind a cover and kept an eye out. Then she felt a strong burning in her chest, an unnatural pain that almost made her throw up as she grew an extra lung. She might as well have with how she was heaving, tears in her eyes as she saw puffs of smoke leave her lips with each cough. Then everything went dark. Being plunged into water was a rude awakening and Freja was immediately flailing like her life depended on it, fighting to get to the surface and only flinching once her back hit the ocean floor. For a moment she just lied there, unmoving, eyes wide open as she took in her surroundings. Remembering the smoke she hastily checked her throat and chest for any signs of burning. What was that pain she had felt and more importantly, what was this weird sensation? She had felt it before, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say Freja, the old Freja, had felt it. Smoke coming out of her mouth when it shouldn't... Maybe she was going crazy, but didn't it look like Sumi's smoke? She stood up suddenly and turned every which way, looking for and trying to shout for her friend. Wait, there was other people here. ''What's going on? Where are we?'' She jumped when the translucent woman spoke, and turned to look towards the voice. ''Our travels?'' Was this some kind of messed up game? Why did she have such a bad feeling about all this, like she had walked right into a trap. ''Are you two in on this? This isn't some kind of messed up prank, is it?'' She secretly hoped she would spot a hidden camera. ''I'm Freja.'' She looked at Elias and Mako. ''H-Hey have you seen another girl my age here? About this tall, short hair?'' She had to ask. If Sumi was here she couldn't just leave her all alone in a place this unsettling. Hojirozame MakoEliasMatsuTL;DR: Freja's last moments in the real world was spent with Sumi at the festival. Just when she is about to confess her feelings for Sumi the attack begins and Freja's quirkless state gets swapped with Sumi's smoke quirk. She's panicking waking up in the dream, but manages to introduce herself to Mako and Elias and asks if either of them have seen Sumi.

He was holding his breath. To the best of his ability, Elias was holding his damn breath. His arms and legs flailed for a moment, then his hands locked around his throat. Hands of metaphysical might had deposited him here in the sea; now it was speaking in his ear. If his Brioni, a suit that cost more than many luxury cars, were ruined, god themself would not be safe from the Wish-Maker.
First, though, he needed to breathe. His face was going blue. His eyes darted to those around him... and for once, he was ever so slightly embarrassed. The first girl to speak up, Freja, was just fine. So his grip loosened, and Elias dared to breathe.
"Odd," was his only remark.
So. An orange jewel. Why the games? Why not try to kill them on the spot? There had to be something more to it.
"I'm afraid not, dearie," Elias finally responded after a moment's silence. "On either account." Aside from the mysterious voice, he was only aware of the trio he found himself among, and Elias wasn't in the business of pranks.
Elias circled the small coral rung clearing they were dropped upon. There wasn't much to go on. No convenient signs in place pointing them in the right direction. Was that even the right move? They were pieces on someone else's board now. Was it wise to play by the dungeon master's rules? Questions on questions on questions. No answers in sight.
"Name's Elias," he offered, "where were the two of you before we ended up here? I was working at my club." Maybe there were commonalities to draw on? Any information was better than no information. If he could guess their captor's motivations, maybe they could play around that.
tldr: Elias is just getting his bearings, introduces himself, and asks where the others were before they ended up here.

"The praying mantis may look like a bug in the church, but this crazy mother-sucker is not to be messed with!"
An american nature documentary was playing in the background. Its flashy jump-cuts, silly growly noises for attacks, and a vague Duke Nukem-like voice in the background was strangely entertaining. At least for the kids. The Hojirozame family was doing its evening ritual of watching TV together. Mako was here, of course, she took a day off. Her cute little siblings, Koyomi, Sakaki, and Tomo, were sitting all around her, watching the bugs fight with amazement and enthusiasm only children could have. Tomo, the youngest, was hopping in her lap.
Mako used the time to catch some Z's, watching the TV with half-lidded eyes, as she was slowly falling asleep. Her family did not go to the Dream Festival tonight.
'Stupid... festival... Villains gonna try something anyway... Won't be there to clean up the mess... Saved... 4000 yen...'
She never noticed the bright flash outside, coming across the sky, painting it purple. The story of the spider that ShOuLd HaVe PrAyEd tO tHe MaNtIs lulled her into a deep slumber long before that. At first, all she had seen was darkness. No sounds, no thoughts, no nothing. But then, the shark-girl opened her eyes again. It was not home. Instead... it was at the bottom of the ocean. The light coming from above in the distance made the water glow. It was so calming and pretty. Mako was no stranger to such views. Often, she laid on the ocean floor herself, and looked up, enjoying the view. A content smile came across her features.
'This is nice...'
And yet... it was weird. Mako knew it wasn't real, somehow. The water felt ... strange. She couldn't feel it pass through her gills. In fact... she couldn't feel no gills on her neck at all. Raising a hand up in the water, she looked at her fingers, which seemed to have grown bigger, and had webbing between the fingers. The girl's mouth felt ... full somehow. Not in an uncomfortable way, but ... different. Like her tongue became much longer too. And was nestled somewhere ready to lash out.
'Has to be a dream of somekind... So weird... Not the weirdest though... One night I had one with a horse, and...'
Mako's musings were interrupted when a translucent figure appeared. She spoke of the ocean floor, and an orange jewel, before disappearing. Leaving Mako sitting up, and looking at the other two figures, who materialized out of nowhere. One of them seemed vaguely familiar, the other - not at all. A sheepish girl and a name in a fancy suit. Freja and Elias. Nope, didn't ring a bell. Figures to meet people I've never seen before, in my dream. Shrugging, she stood up. Her eyes, usually squinting suspiciously, were now opened wide. Almost as if she were in a state of wonder, even though the girl did not make any effort to look that way.
"Name's Mako-kero. You're in my dream-kero. I don't think I've seen anyone else-kero. Or met you two-kerrrr... Grrrr..."
Mako let out a growl at the end of the last sentence. That growl though sounded like a croaking, frog-like noise. How annoying!
"Might as well go where the lady told us to go-krrr... That's how dreams usually go."

Beneath the Waves
With the figure pointing them toward the descent gone, there was nothing left to do but form a plan and marvel at their surroundings. Had it not been for the impending feeling of doom from being forced into a metaphysical world, it would honestly have been a nice place to relax.
It was a rather enchanting ocean world with vibrant coral reefs and colorful fish swimming throughout. The clear blue sky above the water cast gentle rays of sunlight through the water's surface. Looming ahead of the group however was the pit to dive deeper. The sensation the dreamers would get when they approach would be akin to needles on the skin but assuming they listened to their frogfish companion, they would dive and-
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Darkest Depths
Inky darkness would surround the group as they floated down towards the very bottom of the ocean. The further they fell the more illuminated their path would become, with specks of multicolored light coming into focus. The opening would grow largely suddenly as they were greeted with the sight of hundreds of fish, and the glow from their bellies caused their scales to glow in different colors. From red to blue to green and even orange, the large schools were swimming in patterns, only moving away slightly to give the trio room to land.
Perhaps their guide should have elaborated more on which gem they were looking for. Between the copious amount of fish, there were at least a dozen or so with a very distinct orange glow. It would be obvious that one of them had the object they sought. It was a matter of trial and error - simple enough!
Well...it would have been had they been alone. Hiding a distance away from the group, obscured further by the schools of fish a pair of extremely large eyes could be seen watching the group. Whatever this...thing was its eyes were darting between the group and a particular orange glowing fish. The creature's body tensed up as if preparing for something...
The question was, what?
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
tl;dr - If they choose to enter the hole the group will descend to the bottom of the sea floor. - the opening is filled with hundreds of fish with glowing bodies of different colors, clearly indicating that they consumed a gem - There are about a dozen or so orange fish - Something is watching the trio, camouflaged and waiting for the trio to make a move

''Elias?'' She blinked, experiencing a bit of an internal whiplash from meeting a person with that name in a weird place like this. ''..And Mako. You said we're in your dream? I mean, it would explain a lot of what's happening right now, but how is that possible? Is this some kind of quirk attack?'' No it couldn't be, not if Elias was working at his club. ''I was at the Dream World Festival. I'm guessing you weren't anywhere near it.'' She had so many questions, but above all of it all she wanted was to confirm that Sumi was safe. ''Couldn't hurt, I don't see us having any other options.'' She could try to use Sumi's quirk to escape, but she couldn't exactly do that without a pack of cigarettes and the knowledge. Reaching into her jacket pocket as they walked she felt a pack of cigarettes. Odd. Wait, wasn't she wearing an entirely different set of clothes from what she was wearing back at the festival? Reaching into her other pocket she could feel a lighter. ''This is insane.'' She said out loud to no one in particular. ''Is it just me or?'' She put a hand up to her cheek, poking it. ''It feels like something is prickling my skin.'' She didn't like the idea of diving deeper, but being a hero was all about being brave in the face of fear, right? ''Before we go any further I just want to give a heads-up. If we have to work together I'm quirkless... Probably.'' She gave a confused shrug. Diving deeper she kept her eyes peeled and did her best to take deep breaths, as to not freak out and start flailing like when she first arrived here. ''So, dream about the ocean often? N-No judgment from me I just... Well, I'd rather not be here.'' She kept an eye on the multicolored lights, hoping that one of them would be the jewel they needed to retrieve. ''I see it! I got the jewel!'' She exclaimed, reaching out for an orange glow, only to have it swim away. ''Wait- I don't got it, I don't got it.'' In her bid to focus on the lights and find the key to freedom, she didn't at all notice, or even think to consider that they were being watched. EliasHojirozame MakoMatsuTL;DR: Freja agrees with Mako to follow the hints they were given and decides to dive deeper, but not before admitting that she's 'probably' quirkless. In the deep she tries to keep a lookout for the orange jewel and ends up chasing fish instead.

Icy irises flicked between the frog and the quirkless girl. Mako and Freja. Walking within the ocean of dreams ranked as one of the oddest experiences in Elias's life. From one cultivated by Ouroboros, that was saying something.
"And if this a dream of quirk-make, why sweep us into it?" He followed up on Freja's questions for Mako. "It must require quite some effort to whisk away those of such distance."
Tokyo was a rather large city, and Club Nirvana was more than a fair few miles from the Dream Festival. Even with a quirk of considerable range, the effort of snatching two people that far away would tax the user greatly. Yet, Mako didn't appear all that fatigued. She either possessed incredible power, or there was something else at play.
Answers could only be found at the bottom of the abyss. That much was certain. If the others were going, including Mako, who might or might not be the source of this madness, he had to follow for now. So, Elias leaped over the edge and into the dark. The blackness of the void swiftly dissipated, illuminated by dozens, perhaps hundreds, of bobbing and squirming lights.
Sifting among the concert of lights, there were a number of those of amber and orange. Freja was making a move for one such light before the effervescent phenomena floated aside. They were fish. A fish had apparently eaten the jewel they were looking for.
"You know, dreams often end just before any conclusion to whatever tale is spun in the sleeping mind," he noted before throwing his hand forward.
Red threads spun out from Elias's fingers. The strands expanded around a number of the fish, then crisscrossed over, forming a net of sorts. The threads then tightened around the school. If it managed to lock them in place, he would've rounded up three of the orange fish, though even then, they would have to search the trio for the jewel.
tldr: Elias just followed up on questions for Mako, then followed the others into the abyss. He forms a net from his threads and tries to catch a school of fish, including three with orange lights, hoping one might have the jewel.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's my dream-kero."
Mako said and winced again. It seemed like this dream of hers came with an annoying speech tick attached! But she seemed pretty relaxed, all and all, despite the situation. Probably because she was convinced this was her dream, and not something forced from the outside. Despite these guys saying something about a 'dream attack'.
"I remember dosing off. My quirk's that of a shark, and I do dream about the ocean a lot-kero. Pretty certain I'm not a frog, so this has to be a dream. Remember thinking that going to the festival was stupid. You must be a dream-representation of that thought-kero." - Mako pointed towards Freja. As she then turned to Elias, her expression became quizzical.
"You uhh... no idea what are you supposed to be. You kinda look like a guy whose nose I broke in middle-school-kero."
With that, the three followed into the chasm, which lead deeper, into the dark. Mako felt it in her bones, the uneasiness. There was plenty of colorful fish around, some of them glowing. As if carrying what they were looking for. This Freja girl went to try and catch one, but being a clumsy human, she, of course, failed. The other fellow proved more agile, using those red strands of his. Creepy. What worried Mako was not the fish, but the unshakable feeling of being... watched.
"Careful with glowy things. Wouldn't put it past my mind to conjure a giant angler fish-kero."
That in mind, Mako stayed back a bit. Should something big and scary come at Elias or Freja, she would pull them away from danger! 'This tongue gotta be good for something... I could think of a few things...'

In the Darkest Depths
While initially, the fish were unconcerned with the presence of the new trio, something changed once Freja reached out to grab one. As if they all shared the same brain, the collective dozens of fish would move away from the group, with some moving faster than others, particularly the fish that had the orange glow.
One thing that could be certain was that even when moving more frantically the fish weren't aggressive instead only moving far enough to put distance between them and their would-be captors. However, none of them could have anticipated one of the humans having a quirk that was very fitting for their environment and no that wasn't the literal frog.
Of the three fish, Elias would attempt to capture one in particular, which would wriggle out of the net's grasp and move a bit faster than the rest. If any of the three were perceptive enough, they would see that this fish, in particular, was a slightly different shade of orange than the rest. It was just a matter of time before they were able to fig-
An extremely loud roar would reverberate through the area, almost shaking the ocean.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Leviathan
Finally, making its appearance known, the large eel-like creature, The Leviathan, would shoot out of its hiding space and make a beeline for Elias in particular. Whatever he had done clearly triggered the creature. It would open its maw, showing rows and rows of sharp teeth, and due to its size, it could easily swallow one (or more) of the group whole. If they weren't busy panicking, the creature's large eyes had a quality that made them stand out; they were milky white, and the irises were faded. Even on the warpath, it didn't seem to be focusing on any of its surroundings, in fact smashing through some coral in the process.
If Elias managed to avoid its initial charge, the creature would turn and roar once more, considering its next target for a moment before choosing Freja. It would begin to inhale deeply, creating a whirlpool as it aimed to consume Freja in one go. For the time being, it would be in the fixed spot, clearly unable to swim and use this whirlpool ability at the same time.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
tl;dr - Freja's fish does indeed swim away - Elias' attempt is more successful nabbing two out of three of the fish - The surviving fish swims away with a bit more urgency, closer inspection shows its orange is a bit different than the others. - The Leviathan roars and charges at Elias - Regardless of whether Elias is grabbed or not it then focuses on Freja, creating a whirlpool by inhaling in an attempt to eat her.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Evil mastermind or thick-skilled dullard? The frog's true nature was anyone's guess. Elias eyed her with his icy gaze while fishing for the orange. No matter what was rattling between those ears, he knew he was real, which meant Freja was likely a real flesh and blood person caught up in all this nonsense as well.
An escapee. The orange glow of the runaway fish was a beacon that cried for Elias's attention. He turned, watching it make its escape. "Sorry, little fella, but I won't be spending any more time here than necessary," he muttered to himself.
Another dozen red threads spun out from Elias's fingers and made for the convict. Then, all the threads retreated. A booming roar from the dark depths robbed the Wish-Maker of his concentration, or any care, for the orange glow.
There were bigger fish to fry... or run away from. "Absolutely not," he shouted, jumping up and away. He didn't jump far enough.
Elias was swallowed whole. No sharp teeth dug into him, no chewing. The man went down immediately. He was gone.
Well, unless the others watched closely enough when the giant eel roared again. It became all the clearer when it opened up to suck Freja in. Red threads dangled from the beast's teeth, and behind them was one Wish-Maker hanging on for dear life. Freedom ahead. The belly of the beast behind him. Everything the creature sucked in, though, pulled Elias back.
"I swear if you ruin this suit!" He shouted, trying to pull his way up the red threads.
tldr: Elias tried to catch the runaway target fish but drew his threads away when the monstrous eel attacked. Still, he was swallowed whole. But it turns out he's dangling from the monster's teeth via his threads and trying to climb his way out.

''Really? Um, Mako-kero, I don't want to sound rude, but could you let us out, then? This dream is wonderful and all I just- I have places to be.'' She had a hard time believing Mako, mostly because she didn't seem malicious at all. Was this even an attack to begin with? She had so many questions and it felt like their circumstances just got more confusing with every passing second. ''Right, yeah. Do we have anything in common?'' She followed up on the idea Elias posed. ''Any commonalities at all? Have you two made any enemies that might want to like, hurt you?'' If it came down to it, given their situation she might let it leak that a group of assassins was after her, but only if it seemed like they could be behind it. She blinked her eyes at Mako when she mentioned how she thought going to the festival was stupid, and that she could be a manifestation of the thought. ''Okay, ouch.'' She said, not really offended just surprised. In the abyss she was eagerly chasing the fish. After all, scary as this place was she didn't need to worry so long as she had her bat by her side. It wasn't until Mako mentioned an anglerfish that she started getting nervous. Elias of course was just as impressive as she expected every quirk user to be, using his threads to do what she couldn't in a fraction of the time. ''Maybe we-''A deafening roar shook her to her very core, immediately looking towards the source of the sound, eyes widening with fear as a giant eel monster appeared to swallow Elias in one fell swoop. ''Elias!'' She reached for her bat, but hesitated. Smacking that thing with a bat, what good would that do? She reached into her pockets to get the lighter and cigarettes, but found herself paralyzed with fear as the monster turned towards her. Thankfully, in their moment of desperation she noticed that Elias was alive and barely hanging on. ''M-Mako make it go away!'' If this was her dream, surely she could make it disappear, right? What was it Sumi did back when Kei's robot had escaped and gone haywire? She helped box it in by making smoke walls, could she do something like that too? Would lighting a cigarette under the ocean even work? Considering the physics and logic they had been dealing with so far there was no reason to think it wouldn't work, this was a dream after all, right? Her hands were shaky as she put the cigarette in her mouth and lit it, trying to replicate what she had seen Sumi do in the past. She was hoping to create a wall of dense smoke to slam the leviathan eel with, aiding Elias in the process. Whether a woman who had been quirkless her whole life could pull something like that dramatic off she wasn't entirely sure of. EliasHojirozame MakoMatsuTL;DR: Freja asks the others if they have any enemies, trying to identify why the three of them ended up together. When the leviathan appears she is scared at first, but remembers seeing Sumi use her quirk in the past. She then attempts to replicate one of Sumi's techniques, using the smoke quirk to attempt to make a dense smoke wall she can slam into the giant monster to help Elias escape and stop herself from being swallowed too.

Mako said exasperatedly, and rolled her eyes at Freja. At any rate, everything seemed to be going fine. So, she decided to help out with fishing. Eyeing one of the fishes that seemed different from the others, like having a gem, she aimed, and shot her tongue out. It was long, and reached as quick as a fishing spear, blepping the fish and dragging it back! Mako held it neatly in hand, and was about to give a thumbs up for everyone else to follow, when...
"Gyah! Called it-kero!"
It wasn't an angler fish, but it was close enough! And it was going to try and swallow one of her imaginary friends! The fellow with red strings was holding on for dear life, and the hallucination named Freja tried to fight the beast, before being close to swallowed too! "We might've bitten more than we can chew-kerrr... grrr..." - Mako groaned. She had to do something! Once more, that long tongue of hers came to the rescue! When she could see the beast trying to close her mouth around Freja , she shot her tongue straight for her! It was strong and sticky, and if allowed, she'd yoink the girl straight out of the jaws!
"Gwab ze owwer guy, I'll pull yuu ouffft!"
Whether Freja understood the assignment or not, Mako was gonna try and save at least one of them. Soon, she'd pull hard, dragging the person... or maybe even two people, back, and out of the maw!
______________
Tldr: Mako caught what she thinks is a gem-fish. She then uses her tongue to grab Freja. She will pull her out. Whether Freja manages to grab onto Elias or not before it happens is up to her!

The Leviathan
The leviathan eel wouldn't relent in its assault. As Freja got closer, it continued its almost single-minded attempt to consume her, completely unaware that Elias was still holding on. Creatures this small didn't require any chewing, so entering the mouth meant they were a nonfactor. In fact, due to its lack of sight, its other senses were heightened, and it relied on sound to detect its prey. Because of this, it wouldn't close its mouth even though Elias was one chomp away from being fish food.
This would backfire as the smoke wall would end up being what it consumed instead of its target, the duo escaping thanks to the fast thinking and an even faster tongue that freed them. The smoke would prove more disruptive than any of them would think. The Leviathan immediately stopped its assault as it choked on the smoke, sputtering and unable to do anything but attempt to cough out the smoke it inhaled.
Those more aware of their surroundings would notice all the orange-glowing fish begin to descend further, eventually entering a cave opening in the sea floor. Their glow slowly faded the deeper they went. A glance back would see the eel leviathan finally recovering, giving them two options: fight this thing where they were or head down.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Lair
If the Trio did ultimately go after the fish, they would be empty out until a large cavern filled with ruins—several ropes, bridges, columns, and broken walls. There were plenty of places to hide or use for cover if it came down to it, which...
Another Roar followed the trio, with the leviathan eel entering the arena. It would "look" around for its targets and puff its cheeks up before spitting out 'water bullets' about the size of a person at random, as it was still dealing with some of the side effects of ingesting all the smoke from before. Eventually it would stop, having run out of ammunition and began to inhale water again like before.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------
tl;dr - Rescue attempt successful! Bonus side effect of Leviathan eel ingesting the smoke wall and getting stunned - All orange fish swim down into a new area - The surviving fish swims away with a bit more urgency, closer inspection shows its orange is a bit different than the others. - The Lair is in a cave with a lot of obstacles and places to hide/cover - Leviathan Eel enters the cave and fires off water blasts, recharging once it has fired off enouugh —---------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was the wrong time for her to not be a native speaker of Japanese and not understand why Mako was saying kero. Perhaps if she had been a little more calm she would have made the connection between the keros and Mako having a frog quirk, but for the time being she just shrugged. ''Sorry-kero.''Although awkward interactions were the least of her worries when a giant killer eel was threatening to devour them all before they could find the jewel that would presumably help them escape. ''Elias!'' She called out, as her smoke wall slammed into the beast. Despite being seconds away from being eaten they were all fine. She grimaced and started coughing too after making the smoke wall, only then remembering that quirks are taxing on the body and also come with drawbacks. ''A-Are you okay? Mako? Elias?'' She looked at the others, then the leviathan. ''We need to get out of here, we can't fight that thing.'' It was at this point that she noticed the glowing fish descend deeper into the abyss. ''Let's go down!'' She pointed down at the glowing fish as their light faded. There was no time to be standing around and while she did believe her companions were capable, she didn't feel confident fighting the leviathan here. ''I'll cover you just, swim as fast as you can.'' She took out another cigarette. She wasn't actually being hurt by her own smoke, she just needed to stay calm and not choke. Since her quirk had worked moments prior despite being underwater, it was safe to assume she could use it again. Drawing in a lot more smoke this time, Freja would attempt to mess with the leviathan by creating a huge smokescreen, blowing out as much smoke as she could muster. Once the screen was created she would swim like her life depended on it, panicking as she desperately tried to get to the cavern below. Gasping when she reached the cavern, she stopped for a moment to catch her breath. ''Using quirks are the worst, I feel so tired already..'' She whined, only getting a brief look at the interior of the large cavern before diving for cover behind a column. ''Uhhh, Mako? This is your dream right so what is this place supposed to mean?'' She called out, unsure where her friends had hid themselves. When the monster started shooting water bullets she dove to the ground, praying that she wouldn't get hit by its attack or any wayward debris. Once it stopped she looked up and jumped out of cover, brandishing another cigarette. ''I'll distract it! You two are stronger than me so think of a way to beat it!'' She exhaled and created a baseball, lobbing it at the leviathan's face with her bat to try and grab its attention. ''Over here you big dumb fish! W-Wait no I didn't mean it!!''EliasHojirozame MakoMatsuTL;DR: Freja says sorry-kero to Mako for getting her name wrong. Spotting the glowing fish descending further down she suggests they run away from the leviathan eel too. Using her quirk she creates a smokescreen to aid in their escape. Inside the arena in the cavern she begs Mako for answers, hoping that she, as the original dreamer can tell them what the cavern is for. She then decides to become bait, lobbing smoke baseballs at the giant monster while she asks Elias and Mako to come up with a way to defeat it since they are stronger than her.

"Stop saying kero-kero!"Mako gasped exasperatedly, as she managed to pull these people out of the jaws of death, and swim away with them. She did not know if they were real or not, pretty convinced they were figments of her imagination. Still, they acted too real to just leave behind. And besides, they did help out! The girl did not know when she was gonna wake up from this, but a dream about defeating a beast was much better than about being eaten! Eww. So, the three made a run... Or a hop, or a swim for it! Up until reaching some kind of a circular arena. The big fish right on their tail, though getting thwarted by smoke. When it started shooting bubbles of water, Mako hid behind one of the columns, which shook upon receiving impact. This thing's gonna blow up the whole damn place... And possibly bury us underneath! Looking at others, though, they seemed determined enough to fight... Except, only Mako felt like she could get up close to this thing without getting eaten. Suddenly, an idea came to her mind. Her extensive knowledge of useless trivia about marine life might be helpful here! "I might have an idea-kero. If it fails, we'll just have to beat it up, somehow. Distract it for me!"With that, she glued her tongue to one of the columns, as a safety cord to pull away, and swam towards the big eel-like thing. The smoke and whatever Elias would do could provide enough distraction, to get all the way up into the creature's face. And when Mako would get within her arms' reach... She would grab the sides of the beast's snout. And rub them. Really fast and hard. This trick worked on sharks. As well as other species f fish, and even not-fish! Inducing a state called tonic immobility. A stasis, of sort, that could last up to 15 minutes! And work on creatures big or small. It was a gamble, but if worked... it could buy just enough time to go catch the glowy fishes and leave them alone! If not... Mako would pull herself out with her own tongue. _____________ TLDR: Mako uses the smoke and other stuff to approach the beast, and tries to pet its face to induce a state of tonic immobility. If it fails, she will pull herself away using her tongue.
