''O-Oh right, for my work!'' He chuckled nervously, blushing a bit when he realized he had completely misinterpreted Aiko. How embarrassing!! And to make matters worse, when Aiko explained why his last name was Avetia he started feeling bad too. Here he was making assumptions about him just because of his last name. So much for being bad at small talk. ''My condolences, I shouldn't have brought it up, I think it's a great name.'' He offered with a smile, hoping that Aiko saw the meaning behind his innocuous question and didn't feel hurt by it.

His face felt warm again when he called him Yasu. ''..Aiko it is then!'' He couldn't help but smile. If it was this easy talking to everyone, Yasu would have made tons of friends by now. Not many people were as approachable as Aiko, though. ''Eh? My choice?'' He looked a little sheepish. ''Well, you're the rider, what's the most convenient for you? I don't want to get in your way.'' He forgot about his own anxieties momentarily as Aiko introduced the bike. ''It's beautiful!'' He gushed, turning to look up at Aiko. ''How long have you had it?'' He quickly caught the helmet but stumbled back a couple of steps, letting out a small. ''Wah!'' Just as he managed to catch himself to keep from slipping. When he was asked where he wanted to go Yasu paused for a moment. ''Do you like the sea, Aiko-kun? I find that the sound of the waves is really relaxing.''

When it finally came time to get going, Yasu would try to insist to sit in the back, his face turning red as he reluctantly wrapped his arms around Aiko and held on like he was instructed to.

"It's fine. I'm glad that you asked. I think most people just brush it off or don't care enough to ask, so that means a lot to me." He wouldn't admit it too much, but it warmed his heart for Yasu to have at least listened a bit to him. His name didn't mean anything special, but it was the name he had given himself and he was proud to say it and show it off.

"You're not going to get in my way. I'm good with either." Aiko didn't want to pressure Yasu into sitting somewhere in particular, so he would make sure that the option was open for him to sit where he'd like to. It didn't make too much of a difference, as either place had its positives and negatives.

"This beauty? A few years now. She's my baby. Her name is Carla." He'd pat the motorcycle with a big toothy grin; he was proud of it, almost like the motorcycle was his child. As Yasu almost fell trying to catch the helmet, he'd contain a snicker by biting onto his lip. He was cute.

"The ocean? Yes, I grew up by the ocean. We can for sure go there." Aiko loved the idea and would swiftly get himself comfortable on the bike. With Yasu going behind him, he would look behind. "Now hold on cutie, because I'm gonna go fast." With a wink, he would adjust his own helmet before starting up the motorcycle and speeding off.

The ride was a good one and Aiko made sure to take extra care to how he drove as to not care Yasu. He'd drive a bit slower than he usually would, actually obeying the speed limits for once in a long time. After a while, they would arrive close to the water, by a little beach. Parking the motorcycle and turning it off, Aiko would look behind him and check in with Yasu by half turning around. "So... How was that? Do you feel okay?"

''R-Really?'' He couldn't help but smirk a bit as Aiko put all his doubts at ease. Names were sometimes an indicator of where a person was from, or what their past was like, so he was surprised no one took an interest in a name as unique as Aiko Avetia. Maybe he was just being a weirdo again, obsessing over all the little things. ''Carla, huh. That's pretty. Is there a reason behind her name?'' It sounded so specific, there had to be some deeper meaning. Whether Aiko just thought it sounded nice, or looked through a list of names and picked out that one for whatever reason.

''I-I'm okay!'' He blushed, clearing his throat as he straightened his back after catching the helmet, a little embarrassed that he had almost slipped in front of Aiko. That would be so uncool and probably end their budding friendship immediately. ''No way, really? I didn't. I'm more of a mountain person to be honest, but there's something relaxing about the deep blue sea.'' He slowly got on and wrapped his arms around Aiko's waist, but he couldn't help but feel a bit flustered sitting this close to another person, let alone someone as handsome as Aiko. ''Oh- okay!'' His face was practically steaming when Aiko called him a cutie. Did he really call him that?? He played the line over and over in his head again, hearing Aiko's voice echo in his mind, he really did call him a cutie! He was so busy reliving the moment that he didn't even notice they were going until they were already on the road.

Aiko's abs... Weren't his hands really close to them now? He swallowed nervously as he looked at the city around them as it flew by, trying his best to calm his heart as it beat faster than the bike was going. Even with taking care as he drove, by the time they arrived and Yasu stepped off the bike he couldn't help but feel a little light-headed. ''I'm... I'm okay.'' He gave a weak thumbs up as he swayed from side to side, relieved that his heart would finally get to catch a break. ''How are you? That was some great driving, you must know the city really well.''

"It was the name that I guess I missaid of a character from a show I used to be able to watch when I was a kid. Also, I think it's just nice." There wasn't much to it, but Aiko was glad that Yasu asked. "Thank you for being interested and asking." He would feel better about that fact because it was clear that he actually listened to what Aiko said.

As they started and rode, Aiko could feel Yasu's heartbeat. It was as if it was going to leap out of his chest and latch onto Aiko. He expected things to be not as intense, but it seemed that Yasu maybe wasn't used to being this close to someone. Perhaps, just maybe, it was because it was Aiko.

As they stepped off, Aiko would place his hands on Yasu's shoulders as he swayed. "Hey hey, take it easy." He'd lean down to his height and look him in the eyes, making sure that he hadn't hit his head and gotten and concussion. When he realized that it wasn't anything like that, he would sigh in relief and look over Yasu. Being a bit cheeky, he decided that he wanted to tease him. "You know Yasu..." He'd pause, one of his hands moving away from his shoulder and instead pointing to Yasu's heart. "All I could think about was how fast this was beating when we were riding. Were you that scared, or were you excited to be holding onto me that much?" With a wink, he would let go of Yasu's other shoulder. "If you liked that, I don't mind if you hold onto me more, you're cute all flustered." With a small chuckle, he would take off his helmet and place it on the bike. "Should we go get our feet wet, little heart throb?"
