When Momoiro was traveling the world, they never had a need to keep a sword on hand. Beyond the fact that getting through airport security with one would be impossible, Momoiro had no interest in using one. The brief stint as a traveler was a vacation from the family's expectations, so the last thing they wanted was to have a grim reminder at their side. Now that they were at U.A. though...Well, Momoiro couldn't imagine that a bamboo sword was going to cut it. [break][break]
Getting a sword from their family would be quite trivial, but Momoiro had done their research. U.A. isn't just a place to learn how to be a hero. It's a place to start networking with future colleagues. It'd do them well to start forming potential business connections as soon as possible. Thus, Momoiro decided to get all of their equipment from fellow students. [break][break]
Lucky for them, finding one willing to forge them a sword was easy what with all the advertisements posted around campus. "Ando Masao..." [break][break]
Momoiro made their way to the Support Labs, following the directions left on the flyer. Opening the door, Momoiro knocked on the doorframe to announce their presence. "Hello? Is this Ando-san's lab? I was hoping to commission a sword."[break][break]

Momoiro stood amongst their peers, their usually steady hands fidgeting the hem of their kimono. Despite the enthusiastic energy their teacher was giving off, the only thing Momoiro could focus on was the thudding of their own heartbeat. They had trained their whole childhood, but much of that training was merely in learning the kata and the occasional sanctioned matches. This was U.A., however, not their family dojo. If the stories they had heard were true, this place was going to challenge them like no other. A knot of anxiety tightened in their stomach as the weight of expectation began to bear down on them.[break][break]
Momoiro was slow to act. They might not have been the last one out of the room when the red light went on, but they most likely would've been if others hadn't stopped to ask questions. Did Momoiro have questions? Absolutely. They had dozens of questions. Would staying behind cost them points? Was this a test? Heroes need to be decisive, so would it be a demerit against them if they stopped to ask questions? Maybe they'd get points for staying behind to ask questions. Heroes need to calmly assess the situation before jumping into action, right? Was Momoiro overthinking things? They were definitely overthinking things. They shook their head and ran ahead, casting all doubts to the side.[break][break]
No real plan in mind, Momoiro just started running. Where to? They had no idea. They had no idea how to even begin, and the anxiety made it all hard to think. Momoiro's high mastery grants them the ability to transmute their body into cherry blossom petals and use them in a myriad of ways. Discorporating their body, they can dodge attacks and maneuver themselves around the battlefield with ease. Momoiro can also sharpen the petals, granting them the ability to cut like a blade. While it may be quite easy to destroy the petals, Momoiro's Quirk allows them to survive even if they cannot become completely whole again due to losing petals. In time, the petals will grow back, allowing them to replace anything that was lost. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: While Cherry Blossom Body is a highly versatile Quirk, it is not without weaknesses. For one, the petals are highly flammable, so discorporating into cherry blossoms in the presence of fire can quickly get Momoiro killed. Likewise, discorporating into petals doesn't mean that Momoiro can perfectly dodge every attack. For example, if someone were to shoot them, they could stop the bullet from ripping through their flesh by turning into petals, but any petal struck by the bullet becomes unusable. Strong winds or explosive forces can also scatter the petals and make them difficult or even impossible to use. In general, controlling the quirk is difficult. The more petals Momoiro has to worry about controlling, the less fine their control. Turning into cherry blossom petals is not an autonomous reaction. It is something that they must consciously activate. Additionally, Momoiro cannot stay in petal form indefinitely, nor can Momoiro turn their Quirk on and off repeatedly. There is a limit to how often Momoiro can safely use their Quirk before they outright lose control over it. Additionally, Momoiro cannot use his Quirk to control or otherwise interact with existing Cherry Blossoms in any special way.
