She knew Kaida had it in her, all she had to do was let go and blast her shit brother to kingdom come. When she scooped her up, Kazashi transformed one of her arms into a scarf and wrapped it around Kaida to make it a little easier to hold onto her. It was hard to read Daiki's reaction since he was perpetually angry and moody, but he certainly wasn't pleased with the fact that Kaida had transformed before he could kill her. Still, armed with nothing but knives and an absurdly strong regeneration power he strained himself to take a step towards her. ''Ah'm safe, Kaida. Do what ya have ta.''

Only to be slammed by the beam she shot at him. The frigid cold from her quirk combined with the force at which he took the attack was enough to make his knees buckle and makes his whole body shiver. Blasted back by the attack, anyone else might have been down and out already, but Daiki was quick to recover. If Kaida wanted to put him away for good she would need one more big attack to land. Taking out smaller throwing knives, Daiki threw them at her, aiming for Kaida's eyes as he started running towards her, drawing one of his bigger knives once he got close enough to try and cut through her dragon scales. ''You're nothing. A hero student defying a villain? Ridiculous.''

Kaida's tail hardened with ice to whip forth and block the knives flung at her, sharpened weapons bouncing harmlessly off her fur as she raced forth with her jaws unhinged as though she were about to swallow Daiki whole. But it was a mere distraction for her tail that swung behind herself and over her own shoulder like a scorpion, aiming to spike Kazashi's brother like a fish on a pike— unlike the heroes who tittered in the stagelight, Kaida would willingly go for lethal violence first rather than restraining. Yes, an appropriate method for someone like him.[break][break]

She wasn't the only victim here, she knew that.[break][break]

We need to pin him down, Kaida thought. I won't be fast enough to hit him...

The knives were flung aside effortlessly as Kaida deflected them, but that didn't deter or scare Daiki in the slightest. A fresh-faced villain? Perhaps, but he was a veteran and had killed more people than he cared to comprehend. Kaida was just another target, just another obstacle he needed to topple to eventually find the answer to the question that had been seared into his mind ever since his quirk first manifested. Her jaws unhinged to swallow him? He welcomed it. It would be the biggest mistake this hero student ever made, besides getting into the hero business.

Daiki flinched, letting out a gasp as her tail pierced him. For the first time the immortal villain looked vulnerable, maybe even scared? The shock was palpable on his face as he coughed up blood, but Kazashi knew it wouldn't be enough. Kaida had taken an important step forward by throwing the first punch, now she needed to set a good example for the fledgling hero and back her up when she needed it. She didn't even question Kaida's use of deadly force. For one, she was secretly married to a villain, but she also knew what Daiki's quirk could withstand since she had seen it firsthand and she knew that getting stabbed wasn't enough to put him away. In fact...

Hellbent to continue the fight the villain hung on staring daggers at the Dragoness. What was his next move going to be? Before he could make it, Kazashi pushed away from Kaida so that she could get in position to tie Daiki's arm's back with her scarf arms. ''Kaida!!'' She hoped her friend could capitalize on the opportunity.
