[attr="class","header2"]OVERVIEW
» NAME: Olivia Favager
» AGE: 18
» GENDER: Female
» AFFILIATION: Hero
» ALIAS: Princess Cerise
» OCCUPATION: 1st Year Student
» CLASS: Hero w/ a focus in Rescue and Medicine

Olivia brims with an endless supply of energy. Everyone-- yes everyone-- has the potential to become her best friend, in Olivia’s book. Did you just meet her at the bus stop? Are you a person that any sane person would give a wide berth? You’ve got a friend in Olivia! Unless you’re flagrantly a big meanie-pants she will shower you with enthusiasm and kindness!
A lot of people would reasonably assume that Olivia’s an idiot-- this could not be further from the truth! She’s incredibly booksmart, practically top of her class, she’s just… shamelessly weird and impractical. She grew-up with her nose in a book, traveling from place-to-place and often left to her own devices. She was incredibly sheltered, and good god it shows. You could be the toughest villain in the city and she’d be trying to help you, all the red-flags aside. (It’s hard to see red flags with rose-colored glasses, no?)
She is obsessed with mythological heroes, a fixation that she’s had since childhood, and she uses the “traits of a mythic hero” as a metric by which to measure herself and others. If you embody most/all of these, you will become eligible to join her “Round Table of Super-Best Friends”. The traits are as follows: a noble birth (or purpose), deeds of great strength and courage, a great warrior, traveling over vast settings, national heroism (or recognition), humility, and facing supernatural foes/receiving supernatural help. Sometimes her pursuit of these ideals gets her in trouble (i.e. trying to be too brave, strong, or warrior-like, or venturing into areas that are clearly unsafe) but… she still swears by these as foolproof measures of a person.
Olivia is also very emotional when she’s hit her limit-- be it anger or sadness. She’s an open book, and will cry, or yell, if someone pushes her to that limit. She’s got a soft, squishy heart and very little resilience (re: no coping mechanisms) so it’s easy to tug at her heartstrings.
Also, this energizer bunny is either all-on or all-off-- when she’s worn-out, she’ll snuggle-up in the most unlikely places to recharge the metaphorical batteries. And she’s veeeery slow to wake-up, so be prepared to carry her or offer coffee if you need to relocate a sleeping Olivia.

» HEIGHT: 5’7”
» WEIGHT: 115lbs.
» EYE COLOR: Green.
» HAIR COLOR: Blonde.
» SKIN COLOR: Pale and freckly.
» FACE CLAIM NAME: Sonia Nevermind.
» FACE CLAIM SERIES: Danganronpa.
Olivia is prone to grand gestures and exaggerated speech. She likes cute, girly clothes, especially dresses and skirts. The poofier the skirt, the better! If it’s not a dress with a full skirt, it absolutely must be brightly colored. Overalls are great because they have lots of pockets! Oo, or pastels, or flowers, or lots and lots of bracelets!!!! She may be eighteen, but she dresses just like a princess or a little kid.
And, just like a kid, she acts the polar opposite of a dignified lady. Olivia laughs a little too loudly, always seems to be in this haphazard rush to get things done, and is overly friendly with anyone who gives her the chance to be. Her candid face and expressive eyes clearly illuminate whatever feeling runs rampant through the young woman’s heart. You may have just met her, but she'll eagerly clasp your hand or loop her arm around your shoulder in no time. Some people find it endearing, others judge her for it. Olivia is, in this way, wholly unapologetic-- she’s free in her affections and rebukes, and appears to have no intention of changing.
Her hair is always worn down, hanging in a straight sheet to the base of her spine. Sometimes, delicate pink flowers will rest in her hair, or on her cheeks, usually growing in clumps. Plucking them seems to cause Olivia mild discomfort.

Olivia was the first child born to Mr. and Mrs. Favager, and their only daughter. Her parents– French magnates of the hospitality industry– wanted only the best for their children. But with “the best” came a tremendous amount of pressure– a laundry list of extracurriculars, private tutors, and one nanny per child, to name a few. Naturally, Olivia wanted to make her parents proud, wanted to show their affluent friends how well they had done (despite the family’s team of staff doing most of the parental heavy-lifting). As the eldest, she was first in-line to inherit all the five-star hotels that the family owned, which had locations around the globe.
“Was” being the operative word– but we’ll return to that.
With a global business presence, the Favager children were rarely in one place for very long, venturing from country-to-country, château-to-château. Mr. and Mrs. Favager were very busy people, so their children were often left to their own devices.
Olivia found books– particularly classic fantasy novels, with tales of princesses and knights and dragons. She became a voracious reader as soon as she could string words into a sentence– and it was there that her lifelong obsession began. She roped her brothers into elaborate games of make-believe– sometimes reenacting the events of the stories she read, and other times creating their own adventures. Despite being world-traveled from an early age, the inner world that the Favager siblings built was far richer, and it was entirely their own.
As a child, Olivia’s fixation was something praised– she was so smart, and so well-read, for a child so young. It was really quite endearing! But as she drew closer to adolescence, and her bookishness remained, it soon became a topic of great concern. She should really be networking with the children of other wealthy families, for these relationships would be what the future of the Favager’s empire would be built upon! And gracious, Olivia tried– because she loved her Mommy and Daddy and wanted to make them proud. But she was so candid with strangers and friends alike– and while some found this disposition charming, most took affront to it.
Additionally, she was just as friendly towards people with Quirks, much to the chagrin of her parents. Publicly, they were incredibly Pro-Quirk– exclusively because being Pro-Quirk was quite profitable. Privately, however, Mr. and Mrs. Favager despised Quirkers– particularly those that couldn’t conceal them. Their daughter’s indiscriminate friendliness towards everyone, including those of a “lower station” was a topic of many debates between Mother, Father, and Olivia.
Then, when Olivia was thirteen, her own Quirk emerged. In the way of Quirks, it was quite beautiful– one day she awoke to little pink cherry blossoms dusting her cheeks and crowning her head. In her eyes, she was like a fairy-princess! She loved her flowers! But… she knew that her parents would hate them. And, fearing their wrath, she hastily plucked each and every one.
The telepathy followed not too soon after– about a month later, during breakfast, she could hear one of her brothers reviewing what he needed to do on that day, but his mouth didn’t move at all. It was an unwelcome facet to her Quirk– for she learned that many people were actually, privately, really mean. Her parents included.
Olivia meticulously plucked her flowers, trying to maintain the charade of normalcy. The eldest Favager made no indication that she could hear anyone’s thoughts, not even to her brothers. She lived a lie for years, pinching away blossoms as soon as they bloomed. She learned that emotions made them worse– that anger and frustration would sometimes prompt scales of bark to sprout from her skin– so she kept her emotions close to her chest.
A month ago, everything fell apart. Olivia had noticed that her Nanny was missing. Any phone call she tried to make wouldn’t go through. When the Favagers’ sat down to one of their rare family dinners, Olivia asked– and her parents lied to her face. Through their teeth, they told her that her Nanny had quit, knowing that Olivia would soon be leaving for college and no longer in need of such care. But in their hearts, they gave their true confession– her Nanny was laid-off because they’d discovered that she had a Quirked son… and they wouldn’t be associating with someone like that.
Olivia lost it– she had been closer to her Nanny than she was to her own parents– and now, she’d never see her Nanny again solely because of her parents' bigotry. Quirks weren’t some sort of illness that one could catch– they were just like… having blue eyes, or attached earlobes. Shocked by their daughter’s outburst, Mr. Favager yelled back, reprimanding his daughter for being so assumptive. But Olivia didn’t back down. As tempers flared, her quirk ran rampant. Her skin turned to wood with her fury, and flowers cascaded down her blonde tresses and over her shoulders.
Mr. and Mrs. Favager were mortified– to think their daughter was one of those creatures that they had so carefully guarded against? They had to get rid of her. As soon as they were able, they whisked her away to UA. They’d send her money, and make sure she was comfortable– but she could no longer show her face in her family again.

[attr="class","header2"]ATTRIBUTES
» AWARENESS (C+) As soon as someone inhales her pollen, Olivia can hear their thoughts. It makes it very difficult to sneak-up on her. | » VITALITY (C) Olivia was schooled in mingling with social elites-- this, combined with her guileless charm and her quirk, makes her a very persuasive young lady. She could talk a cat off the back of a fish-wagon, as she has often said. |
» DURABILITY (D+) When transformed, her bark acts as a protective barrier. She also just doesn't know when to quit. | » SPEED (D) Nothing to write home about. |
» DEXTERITY (C-) Her hands are rather deft, be it from years of playing instruments, or shear dumb luck. | » STRENGTH (D) She might beat a twelve-year-old at arm-wrestling, if they're a small twelve-year-old. |

QUIRK NAME: Psionic Dryad
QUIRK RANK: C-
QUIRK TYPE: ...yes. (Joking aside... transformation, mostly.)
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Most noteworthy about Olivia is the spray of pink flowers that often adorns the crown of her head, her cheeks, and her shoulders. These seemingly innocuous flowers emit a pollen that, when inhaled, lays a person's thoughts bare. Thoughts begin like a murmur, becoming a distinct voice as a person draws nearer. This facet of her quirk is by no means omniscient, only availing conscious thoughts to Olivia (and only from people who fit very specific parameters), but... Olivia hopes that this gift may one day prove useful in the medical field
The cherry blossoms that crown her head are only one small part of her true power-- which is that she can transform into a dryad, or a tree nymph. As her power stands right now, she can only produce bark along her skin, in reaction to outside stimuli (i.e. an impending or perceived attack). She's partially transformed only once, and that was in her latest fight with her parents.
Ultimately, she will be able to fully become a dryad, which will grant her a wooden body that stands at about 10’ tall at its maximum height. While in this form, a single touch from her hand or foot can cause branches or vines to sprout from the ground at accelerated rates, all of which bear the flowers that usually adorn her head. This “accelerated growth” translates into a regenerative ability for Olivia, too, while she is in dryad mode… although it is laboriously slow (unpacked further in drawbacks).
Additionally, if a flower of Olivia’s is planted, it will sprout a little flower sprite, which she has affectionately dubbed “Little Bud-dy”. They seem to have a mutual understanding with Olivia, but their speech is completely unintelligible to any outside party.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: First and foremost, there are only certain individuals that Olivia's power works on. If your character does not breathe, and therefore cannot get her pollen into their lungs and bloodstream, Olivia cannot read their emotions or thoughts in any way. Similarly, if they have allergies, a respirator, or a surgical mask, that's enough to mitigate the effects of her power as it will filter-out her pollen. Also, some people are just... private? Their thoughts are quiet and their emotions are kept close to their chest, which makes them difficult (or even impossible) to read. (In other words, this power relies heavily on the consent of the PLAYER. I am at your mercy. )
Wind can blow pollen out of range or away from a target, while water will reduce Olivia's range. Fire will burn it up.
Fire, overall, is just bad news– she burns just like any other person, perhaps even worse when she’s completely wooden.
Olivia is always enshrouded by the smell of cherry blossoms, so the telepathic facet of her quirk is always passively on. This, on its own, makes it difficult to talk to others as there’s always two narratives taking place– the internal and the external. Olivia will also never be very stealthy, as people will always smell her before they see her.
Since her power is always on, crowded places tend to be very overwhelming-- the noise of the real world overlapping with the sights and sounds of the metaphysical-- which can make going out in public rather tedious. This also accounts for some of why Olivia seems so distracted... there's a lot she’s trying to process.
Additionally, her power only interacts with surface-level thoughts. So while Olivia could try and get a person to think about a topic by asking leading questions, she can't delve into a person's psyche and rummage through memories at her leisure. All she can do is listen.
While Olivia will (eventually) be able to produce branches/vines with a simple touch of her hand, these creations are only as durable/strong as her own attributes are. Anything of a higher strength or durability could break through them without issue. When it comes the the regenerative facet of her quirk, regrowing limbs take *weeks*. This only applies to things that are cut. Anything that is burnt cannot be regrown. While Little Buddies are cute, they have to be within range of Olivia (about 30’/10m.). They can communicate with Olivia, but other than that serve no practical or combat purposes.
