Being the youngest vigilante out of the big guys comes with some expectations placed on you, and Usagi is no different. She's loving and somewhat carefree when racing around the city or monologuing to herself. Having grown up in such pity, she does have a pretty empathetic kind of relationship with everyone in the position she was. Even if she doesn't want to admit it, the girl does have her moments of weakness. She'll deliberately go out of her way to try and make somebody's day happier if she knows them, though Usagi will adamantly defend this as her just doing something on the way to her actual objective. The teen might be in the wrong crowd, but she at least has the heart of somebody who cares for their group.
Usagi's usual demeanor leaves a lot to be desired. She acts on emotions more so than logic most times, much to the dismay of her teammates. Her elevated status in the Renegades has given her a sort of brattish attitude about certain things. She'll begin to get angry if she's unsure if her abilities and being taken seriously. And don't ever call her small or short, unless you really want her inner demons to come out.

Little information exists on Usagi from her infancy. She was brought into an adoption agency as an infant after being found abandoned in an alleyway with only a stuffed rabbit to keep her company inside of the box she was found in. There were no real leads as to who her parents may or may not have been. Like many other displaced youths, she was placed into foster care with a loving family to guide her in her journey through life. One that would set her on the right path in life.
Unfortunately as Usagi came to discover, not every kind of promise an adult would say held water.
She was placed in her first foster home and shown just how the world worked for kids like her. Her parents proudly boasted about taking somebody in off of the street yet in private, would actively buy things for their actual children while leaving her with the bare minimum. She grew up to be a rowdy kid and was constantly at ends with other kids. After one instance of getting into a vicious fight with her foster brother, she was brought back into the government's care and replaced. This happened again and again. Families and faces becoming just nonsense to her as the years passed her by. After some time, she ran away from her then current home in order to have some kind of control over her life. The streets were harsh and cruel for somebody just barely on the cusp of teenagehood.
Then, after years of her quirk lying dormant, it would suddenly come to life. Usagi found herself running from police again before the world had seemed to pass her by. Her legs felt like a bullet train, unable to be stopped while she ran through the streets and moved about. The world around Usagi was but a blur, speeding shapes and colors flying by as she ran and ran until she couldn't anymore. The world turned black for a moment and when Usagi had awoken to it, she found herself in the same spot, a day later with a starving stomach. Seeing this as a useful ability to not only survive but thrive in the city, Usagi quickly became notorious for her string of petty thefts. She took only food and what she needed while avoiding robbing from places that could land her in serious trouble.
