Sasaki Sento grew up in Kyoto dreaming of visiting the wide world. Raised by his grandparents, he went through life assuming he’d just follow the course fate seemed pathed out for him. He’d graduate high school, start working for the family store, eventually settle down with a local girl and maybe work in a kid or two.

That changed the moment he met his first Pro Hero, or more accurately the moment he saw one in action. His small town didn’t see much excitement, so when a rather flashy battle erupted in the middle of the street, Sasaki was awestruck by not just the impressive heroics on display, but also the erupting praise the defenders of justice were receiving. Sasaki had had a brief glimpse outside his small pond, and it had reawakened his long crushed dreams of seeing what the world held.

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Deep Blue is a rather basic quirk that allows the user to gather, store, and control water in their surroundings. Scientifically speaking, the user has a series of sponge-like bladders through out their body, which take in moisture absorbed through the lungs and epidermis, depositing them for later usage. The influence the user has on external water is extended through mixing with liquids filtered though his quirk. The user is able to not only shape, move and pressurize the water, but also control its state of matter, freezing it into ice or evaporating it into steam.

QUIRK DRAWBACKS:
Because the quirk requires the user to have frequent contact with water, this creates a liability when it comes to attacks that can use the water as a medium, such as electricity. This quirk also only works on H2O itself, and struggles to perform with liquids of poor quality or purity, and suffers a blow to finesse and precision when solvents are left mixed in.
The quirk also has a very thin threshold against affecting the user itself, as such over-exertion will begin to pull upon moisture and water in the rest of the users anatomy, causing discomfort and nausea.
