So. You've decided to take a look at this personality test I took like a year ago huh? Well, let me save you the effort. Give me that stupid paper and I'll break down my personality into delicious bite-sized nuggets, just for you. Ok?
Now. WHO is Aurora? It's a logical question, you want to know a bit about the person you're about be locked in a room with for the next six hours...wait what. No. Ignore the doors being locked. I just want to draw you ok! It was a joke...
...They always run away when I make that joke.
Moving on. I'm Aurora. A figure skater an artist. And a hopefully successful one someday! I'm a foster kid, I grew up in an orphanage until my current family adopted me in Japan. Oh, did I mention I'm not from Japan yet? Probably not. Despite my good memory, I can be forgetful when I'm focused on something. I'm originally from the cold white north, also known as Canada. How I got adopted to a family in Japan, will forever remain a mystery to me despite having asked like a million times at this point.
I grew up in a bit of a broken home after I was adopted. The family who took me in came on hard times not long after taking me in and somehow managed to avoid having me taken away. Guess who got to eat last when we barely had grocery money? Me. Their 'blood' children got to eat first. Not that I mind too much, I'd have given them my meals anyways. As it turns out, I could do pretty well on my own. When I was ten I got offered a 'position' at my local arena in exchange for skating lessons. I was ten, so they couldn't really pay me legally, but it got me on the ice in the roughest pair of figure skates you ever did see.
The ice was my freedom, my escape from reality, much like my sketchbooks always had been.
I like to think of myself as a kind person. I tend to go out of my way to help others even if it inconveniences me for a little while. Why? Because in a world where villainy is afoot, why not spread a bit of kindness? Of course, that's depending on whether or not I'm willing to break out of my little bubble to offer said kindness. I'm definitely what you'd call introverted. It's not that I like people, it's just that I value my alone time. There's something truly special about sitting in your apartment in the pitch black of night, nothing but a lonely desk lamp, a cozy blanket, a sketchbook and the sound of thunder and rain outside your open window. Absolute heaven.
In that same vein. I tend to often have my favorite pair of headphones on. Listening to inspiring music or audiobooks. So if you want my attention, you should probably just give me a poke and watch me faint like one of those cute goats that faint when surprised.
Side note, I also HATE Dentists, Doctors and Needles. Why? No clue. Ask my brain after I'm dead will you. For some reason I've always been intimidated and scared by the three of them. So don't be surprised if I give every excuse in the book not to see one.
That's pretty much me. If you want to know anything else. Just get to know me ok? I don't bite. OH! And don't mess with my mess, cause I'll end you.

Where do I even begin?
How does one take their life and turn it into a story, a chronicle of their experiences?
With skill and pretty words of course!
I'm Aurora. Born in a sleepy little town in Canada, and immediately abandoned by my parents! I don't know why. Maybe they couldn't afford me, maybe they didn't want me. Regardless, I was left in one of those little safe drop-off boxes at a local fire station. From there, it was off to the big scary system. As I understand I spent three years in the foster care system before I was adopted by a family...In bloody Japan! How did that work? No clue. Every time I look at the details online of adopting cross-country like that, the details get muddy REAL fast.
Regardless, this gal has dual citizenship punks!
Anywho. I was adopted by a family in Japan. Mum, Dad and their three kids. I was the fourth and by extension, the least important despite being the youngest. I though the youngest is always treated best? Clearly that didn't fly in THIS family. They fell on hard times pretty quick when I got a little older. Scraping by for meals, my older siblings having to find jobs just to keep us afloat. Not to mention my father was addicted to drinking and getting violent when he did.
But I'm going to stop with the crappy, sad stuff there. Around the time I was ten, I was already being allowed to walk to school on my own. It was only three blocks from our house past the community center. A community center that very quickly became one of the most important places in my life. Not only did I spend my afternoons after school there, watching the public skates or even the clumsy hockey games that went on while sketching in my book. It was the perfect escape from home.
It was in that particular community center that I found my second passion, besides drawing. I'd ALWAYS been into drawing and art since I was little. It is not often you'll see me about without a sketchbook in hand and a pencil tucked behind my ear. But back to my second passion. Figure skating. The local club was fairly small, but I stumbled across it the first time their skating season came around. I was hooked from day one.
Falling in love with figure skating was like discovering a hidden world of grace, passion and artistic expression. Something in how these amazing athletes were enchanting people as they glided effortlessly across the glistening ice. Telling stories with their bodies and intricate footwork.
Of course, my family couldn't afford it. But that didn't stop me from watching and eventually getting noticed by one of the heads of the skating club. A few conversations over a few weeks and suddenly I found myself helping clean the locker rooms and help with their skating shows in exchange for free lessons. This was my entire world, one that encouraged my freedom of expression. And my freedom in general, I found the courage to move out of my family home at sixteen. Working a job while attending school and my skating lessons. It was a lot of work, but I wasn't opposed to hard work.
Without hard work, what kind of results can you expect?
The rest they say, is history. I cut myself off from my family, fell head over heels into skating nearly full time and pushed into the world of competitive figure skating. If I'm not at home hanging out with my otter and drawing, I'm usually at the ice rink. Or the local art gallery, but that was only when I have some free time!

QUIRK NAME: Rewrite
QUIRK RANK: B-
QUIRK TYPE: Emitter
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Her quirk allows her to deconstruct matter via touch and then use those components to reconstruct it differently from how it originally was.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: In order to make use of her quirk, she has to understand the chemical components that make up whatever matter she is manipulating. As matter is made up of energy, it can take an extreme amount of energy to use her quirk. She can get exhausted very quickly and pushing too far can cause significant drawbacks to her body. Due to how much energy this quirk uses, she is almost constantly nibbling on something. Additionally, if there no necessary types of matter around, this can heavily restrict her ability to make use of her quirk.
Any reconstructed matter will return to it's original state after a given time depending on how much energy she pours into the reconstruction.
This quirk cannot affect anything living.
Aesthetic Properties: Blue Emitted light at source of deconstruction/reconstruction. Electric-like blue light sparking around user when heavily using the quirk. Neither of these carry any physical or practical effects beyond aesthetics.
