dont fret, dearie Kaede hurried along the hallway, checking her tablet without hardly looking up. No one dared get in their way and she knew the route by the back of her hand, so there was no point in pretending to focus on her surroundings. She had more important things to do. "You have two appointments this afternoon. A third in the evening," She rattled off over the sound of heels clacking against the hard, polished-white floor. Sonya threw her hair back with a sigh and glanced her way, a pout forming on her lips. Her glowing mechanical eyes, hot pink as always, rotated and turned their lenses a few times. "Evening? What on earth do I have going on that late? I would rather-""Margot and Sienna, the twins ma'am?" Kaede said, a bit unhappily. Sonya paused, her pale skin flushing a bit as recollection caught up with her. Her smile turned a bit lecherous and she grinned wickedly, turning away and chuckling. "Ah yes, the twins, aha ha ha ha, right, twinsssss," She chortled as they continued down the path. She let out a sigh after a few steps, "Cancel it.""But- you- they-" Kaede blurted, surprised. "I have actual work to do," Sonya groaned, "A project in my workshop for my dear KyoKyo~ I can't just leave it hanging!" She admitted, "I'll make it up to them. Set me up with ... tickets to a theme park with them for the day tomorrow."Kaede stared at her, sighed, and nodded, "I'll just... move everything from tomorrow elsewhere..." "That's a good girl," Sonya teased and turned back to where they were going, they came to a stop just in front of a heavy sliding door that was dramatically decorated with a mural of two heroes standing in proud relief next to one another. A scanner checked her identity and the heroes on the door faintly glowed before the doors hissed open with a pleasant sound and movement. Sonya smiled, "Hmm, still satisfying.""You built those," Kaede pointed out. "I know, I'm proud of them-" She trailed off as she stepped into the ASTA Hero Agency, and the domain of a member of her board of directors, her friend, and the head of the Hero Agency herself. Kyokyo! Er... Sunadokei Kyojin. The Titanic Hero: Titanomachia. Sonya threw out her arms in boisterous greeting, "Kyokyo! I'm here to pick you up for your photoshoot dearie!" She called out to the open room, knowing someone would hurry to tell the boss that the eccentric CEO had shown up. I just want to play |

Singing the tune to her own theme song under her breath no less. "♫♫...Tomedonai kono shoso-kan...♫♫...kusubutta mama no tsutanai hono...♫♫" She was waiting for someone, otherwise she'd be tending to more important tasks than browsing through her email. She had Sidekicks for this sort of thing, Hell she had enough Sidekicks that Sunadokei herself barely lifted a finger to do any of the paperwork around this place. She hated bureaucracy, despised all the red tape Pro-Hero work entailed. Even getting her licenses renewed was always an arduous affair.
The sound of commotion out in the main lobby had Sunadokei looking up from her monitor, taking a sip from her iced coffee thermos as she tried to listen in even through her supposedly soundproof walls. It had to be Sonya, if it was some high tier Villain a Sidekick would have burst through her door begging for her immediate help. No sooner had she made the thought than Firestarter burst through the doors, the young Hero looking wide eyed and short of breath from sprint down the halls. "Titanomachia-sama, it's Miss---"
"Chernovna? I'm well aware dear." Sunadokei replied, cutting the fiery headed hero off. "We have a photoshoot scheduled for three o clock sharp today." She spoke idly, never one to fret over times. Sunadokei was punctual and cordial always, but she never quite packed out her schedule enough to need to be some busy body running about like a chicken with her head cut off. That's what Firestarter was for. Sunadokei had done her time 'in the trenches' as a Sidekick, slaving away under her father to keep his agency running in tip top shape. Now her Sidekicks could do the same for her. It builds character, and Sunadokei had plenty of character.
Sunadokei tidied up her desk briefly, set her thermos of coffee in a small mini fridge beneath her cabinets, and sauntered out of her office with her Sidekick in tow. "Run along Firestarter, go join Blackout on afternoon patrol, stretch those legs a little for a change." She instructed her protégé, waving them off with a dismissive hand.
"Yes, Ma'am!" The eager Sidekick exclaimed, giving a short bow before hurrying off... leaving a trail of embers dancing in their wake. It was a good thing the building was fireproofed... and ice proofed... and quite-a-few-things-proofed. Modern construction was a marvel, but Quirk-proofing a large office building did not come cheap. No matter! She wasn't the one footing the bill. Sonya was.
Speaking of the devil, Sunadokei couldn't miss her white haired CEO standing arms outstretched at the far end of the lobby with her dreary assistant in tow. She quickly closed the distance between the two, heeled costume and the telltale sashay of her hips making Sunadokei look more like a runway model on a catwalk than a professional Villain stomping machine. "Sonya... darling..." Sunadokei took the woman's outstretched arms in her own, drawing her into a tight hug. The two were had been best of friends for ages, and had grown very close. Perhaps too close, if the office gossip was to be believed. Though formally they were simply well acquainted business partners. Sunadokei had mastered dancing her way around the paparazzi's watchful gaze from her own mother. She wasn't about to let some daytime talk show hosts try to run a smear campaign on her or her boss.
Sunadokei's expression narrowed slightly, and she pulled away from her hug to look the woman eye to eye. "It's Kyojin, what have I told you about nicknames?" Only that she hated them. Sunadokei found nicknames too informal, if she wanted people to call her Suna, or...Kyokyo, she would tell them to her face. There was a very short list of people Sunadokei tolerated nicknames from, and Sonya was unfortunately first on it. If she'd explained herself once, she'd explained a thousand times. Not that it stopped her from unsubtly reminding her boss/bff.
"Yes yes, the photoshoot." Sunadokei said with a sigh, taking a step back and placing a hand to her broad hip. "I had make up and wardrobe slaving away for almost an hour when I got to the office. Had my Hero Costume artificially gigantified just so my tailor could manually go over each and every crease and stitch in magnified detail." It had looked rather comical, having the Hero costume induce its size changing properties stretched out over the roof of the parking garage. Sunadokei had been not far away, enjoying a cool drink as she took the opportunity to sunbathe.
"How do I look?" Sunadokei added, giving a short twirl to inspect her appearance. "Immaculate? As always." She answered her own question, giving a short scoff. "Anyways, I'm free until five. I have Razorwing and Judicator covering the lunch rush patrol. Cypher and Shadowclaw are handling the night patrol. And I'm unfortunately going to be meeting with the Chief Security Officer this evening. We're going a guided assessment of the company warehouses across the city." While it was not technically her area of expertise, which was marketing, Titanomachia was still the director of the company Hero-Agency. Which meant any time Villain related theft of company products or materials occurred... she inevitably had to deal with it. "An assessment not on any company itinerary..." She added in a hushed tone, Sunadokei found the best way to test security procedures was to arrive unannounced.
