So listen here my father told me once how he met my mother, that was before he got lost in the bottle. Strapping man no doubt back then, Otherwise how would I have gotten my looks and my nose. Guess I should tell you about my nose, big red honker, minor mutation. My mom, she was a fine dame as well, or so my dad told me, good days he said, good days. Then they got me, a little lad back in ‘66.
Then two years after my birth, my mom was murdered, never caught the killer, destroyed my dad, he never recovered. When I was five I got my powers, No one can lie around me, tough realisation is that everyone lies. My dad croaked soon after, I lived on the street after that.
Then Captain Hato found me, pigeon policeman with a pigeon name. He gave my life meaning.
Hato taught me all I know. Then he croaked as well. Bad bird seeds, damn he loved bird seeds. Became a detective, damn good one if I say so myself, so what if I got tossed out of the force for a series of scandals, I didn’t even cause most of them. Now the only law I follow is the law of Justice.
