"Oh. That's- relieving, actually, I thought I did something wrong, or you were collapsing from agony or something..!" Relief showed on the redhead's face as she sat on her heels to wait for Jun to feel up to moving again. She listened, too, as Jun shared, tilting her head a bit. "If I can ask... is that your motivation as a hero? Obligation to tradition? It's not the worst reason to stand up for people by far, I'm just curious. There's got to be all sorts of good and bad reasons. I'd like to understand them- and you, if you're at all inclined to share?"

Miroru screwed her face up. "I'm sorry you're hurting. I won't MAKE you go, but I will recommend it. Can I report that you're still hurting a lot and ask if there's anything we can do to alleviate it?" She stood too, her tail swishing behind her as she stood. It made balance easier, for all it made her wardrobe shopping a nightmare.

I can pay no price too great for justice.

Many kids that entered had at least some connection to a hero or another, or just had aspirations to be the next popular caped crusader. Jun didn't have any of that. All she had in her family were police, army and navy operators, a politician or two...but no heroes. And she wouldn't have gotten on this path if- "My family traces their lineage to the great war. Since those early days it's a tradition for someone to take up a post in order to keep the country running. What I'm doing is no different, and with my quirk...I feel like I can make a difference." She went quiet, looking at her hands. "But not in a showy way. I don't want to be showy, or famous, or anything like that. I want to be a symbol of inspiration for others...heroes are meant to be the shining example of what humanity is. It's what that super guy in the comics was in America for so many years before his publisher butchered his character...and I want to be like that." She took in a breath, getting to her feet as she looked at Miroru. "I...I'm sorry, I don't mean to spout all this at you. You don't have to report anything, I'll deal with the pain. I've been through worse." She gave a weak smile, but a smile nonetheless. Miroru
