OKAY with all the absolute craziness going on in her life, she just needed a nice chillax kinda me day!

...more or less by herself since she wasn't sure if any of the folks she met through the vigilante scene would actually want to hang out with her on a whim. That was okay though, because they'd be her friends one day for sure! ......probably! Well, until that day rolled around the corner, she'd just make the most of distracting herself and maaaaaaybe make some buddies!

The world was such a big place and the chances skyrocketed waaaaaaaaaaay up there due to the dense populous!

Smiling thoughtfully to herself as she fussed around with her bag resting upon her shoulder...

...hmmm, some obscure plushies would be fun to look for, maybe even some garage kits?

Tapping away at her phone, there was a store someone sold a bunch of custom goods and the reviews even stated they had vigilante plushies! It was called Maid 4 U since they sold some variants on maid outfits as well, the word play wasn't missed by the blonde with strawberry swirls, "Ooooh I see what'cha did there! Clever, veeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrry clever!" Chuckling softly as she waggled a finger lightly at the screen of her phone, she figured they could smack two birds with one stone...

...get something that could finish up one of her outfits, or at least the base for it, aaaand maybe even some plushies of folks she knew! Wow, if she could, she was totally gonna show them how far they've come along to get plushies made of em'....or at least tell those folks look, you got a mini-me...that would be so neat!

Would they be happy?

Upset, maybe?

Who knew, but she was sure they'd at least appreciate the sentiment someone took the time to make something of them for one reason or another, right?

"Now t'find this place...hmmmMMMmmm...." Though as she went on her little stroll, hyper focused on the GPS guiding her to the place, that oddly dressed, petite woman accidentally bumped into someone and fumbled to fall right on her bum! "B-bwugh! S-sorry! Sorry!" Dropping her phone that was in a fluffy kitty case and loaded with charms, she scrambled to grab her belongings...wondering why she felt like a whole friggin' anime trope right now.

Thankfully, bumping into Yuma meant slamming head first into fluff. Yuma was on his off day from work today, which was always a good thing. He didn't care much about his security guard job, if at all. Not to mention he had to cover the graveyard shift more times than he could count. That meant no time to do actual meaningful work instead of protecting someone's golden plated balls for a meager paycheck at the end of the month.

He staggered only lightly, given the lady grabbed most of the energy of their collision. An admittedly cute phone ricocheted near his clawed foot. Thankfully it was in some kind of overside cover so as he picked it up he was happy to see an intact screen. Phones are expensive, repairing one sometimes sets you back a good couple hundred.

Unsure if it had been him in the wrong or the lady, the very tall yellow fox kneeled down to offer the phone he held to the rightful owned.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking. You okay? Do I need to call an ambulance?" He stated in his calm yet young sounding voice. The large ball of fluff behind him started waving slowly, showing only a smidge of worry for the new acquaintance.

WOWIE ZOWIE!

Of all the times she managed to accidentally crash into people due to getting lost in the sauce of her phone, this had to rank pretty high up there on the could be worse scale. Very soft and cushion-y for sure! Wait...speaking about her phone...

OH NOOOOOOOO!

Where was her phone?!

Managing to get a bunch of her candies, the tools that spilled out of her bag in case someone needed a repair on the go found their place back within their safe bag home, but not her phone! Then she heard a voice, the one that belonged to none other than the person she bumped into...at least they didn't sound mad? Sputtering out a nervous laugh as she swooped up a lollipop to munch on, she just couldn't help but add, "Oh yeah! Same! I'm tryin'a find a store, so my eyes were suuuuuuuper glued to the phone, my bad!"

When the cutesy cat phone slid into view, she let out a happy gasp, "OHEMGEE! My phone! There she is! Thank y--" Happily taking the phone as it softly jangled and chime thanks to the absolutely absurd amount of charms dangling upon it, that's when she looked up and just straight up let out a squeak, "OHMIGOSHHHH! YOU'RE SO FLUFFY!" Those jade optics splashed and dashed with accents of aquamarine glimmered as she couldn't help but dub herself as captain obvious of the states the obvious, nothing short of absolute glee bubbling in her voice.

Though she was quick enough to have a momentary thought click in her head, wondering if it was rude or not culturally acceptable to call someone fluffy. This is what she got for running her mouth five million miles per hour without thinking too much at times! A blush of embarrassment flushed her features, "Suh-ssss-s-sorry! Was that rude? I hope it wasn't rude!" Scrambling up to her feet, she tried to remind herself of how folks here apologized and just found herself bowing a few times, then standing upright to rapidly scratch the back of her head....aaaand take a moment to adjust her goggles.

Honestly, her outfit was certainly a choice seeing as it was a bikini top beneath a partially open lab coat with a few grease stains here and there, a good ol' plaid skirt with pockets and striped thigh highs that poked up from rather bulky boots. Adjusting her studded backpack while shuffling her feet, the girl with now messy buns hoped she hadn't unintentionally offended someone, that was never fun!

Well, she sure was a well of positivity. Yuma was taken slightly aback at her kind of behavior, but it wasn't totally new to him. Some people were just bundles of happiness, that was just life as usual for them. Sometimes he envied the overly positive guys.

He looked down at the lady, blinking slightly in confusion at being called fluffy. Well, his appereance was actually quite fluffy, so it wasn't like she was wrong. He would guess he should take it as a compliment. "Oh uhm... thank you." He would say with a sheepish chuckle. "I try to take care of my coat every day. Keep it clean and nice." He would soon add. Offering a handpaw, he helped her back on her feet while she kept mumbling on while fawning over him a little bit more.

He tried not to look down too too much, mostly because the lady's current outfit was kind of... revealing and he wasn't going to be pictured as a peeping tom. He quickly pulled his jacket a little down, before resuming his focus on the lady's face.

"Do you need help for directions?" He asked her. He was somewhat familiar with the block, so he could probably point the lady in the direction of the shop she was looking for.

Grasping upon one of the fluffiest hands she'd ever held as she was helped up, it was like holding five million tiny bunnies or something! HOW WAS HE SO FRIGGIN SOOOOOOOOOFT?! Even when back when she didn't dye and bleach her hair like it was going out of style, it didn't get that soft no matter what products she used! Shaking off the worry of offending some rando she crashed into, it coulda been worse, but it wasn't! So she couldn't help but brighten up and waggle her lollipop with a big ol grin after freeing his hand from her touch, "Awww! Hey, you're welcome, man! You're trying and succeeding!" Plopping the lollipop into her mouth, she gnawed it lightly in thought...

...then fussing with her kitty cat cased phone, trying to get back on track...she had a holy mission of acquiring obscure plushies today! Namely one of her buddy--erm...acquaintance...? Team mate? Home slice? Daaaawwwwwwg? Bah, cool dude who wouldn't leave her high and dry in an emergency of the vigilante sphere, GHOULIGAN! Gosh, she wondered if maybe Dion would have one, too? He may have been a grumpy dude, but he would totally make for an awesome marketable plushie! Though he was super under the radar, so probably not?

Though her attention got drawn back to the softest stranger she'd ever met and looked up at him as though she was just informed Santa's real and he's a quirker or something! "Really?! Oh holy CRAP that would be AWESOME! I don't really know this area super duper well yet, so yeah! I'd appreciate that a TON!" Plus, shopping alone sucked, she'd even go out of her way to talk to workers and other unsuspecting patrons for what they thought just to have a conversation about things she was conflicted on buying. Or even just trying to find common ground to make a friend like an absolute goofball, or weirdo...really depended on who you asked.

"Name's Jay, by the way! Nice ta meet'cha!" Bringing up a picture of the Maid 4 U store front, "Aaaand this is the place I'm lookin' for! Maid 4 U, they got loads of cute stuff I wanna check out! I'll even nab ya somethin' as thanks!" Here we go, operation: make a friend and find the store she's looking for is a-go!

He really wasn't doing anything too special. Yet Yuma was still being... assaulted by all that positivity he couldn't quite comprehend in full. He hoped he wasn't wasting too many good vibes. Nevertheless, he would chuckle a little at the lady's antics. She was all bouncy like a small kid. Perhaps it was quirk related?

He looked down at the phone and the shop she was interested in. Maid 4U. He had seen it from the outside, but he wasn't really big into collecting or miniatures so he never really bothered going in. He did know where it was though, something that he could show the way to real easy. Then, still trying to fully process everything she was saying, man she was going about the speed of sound, he picked up something about a present and her name.

"Nice to meet you too Jay. I'm Yuma. Yuma Orion." A simple introduction, followed by a sheepish wave. "Oh no need no need! I am not really big into miniatures either, you don't really need to worry about me. Besides, showing you where a shop is hardly counts as any real meaningful help in any case."

Turning around before she could object, Yuma quickly pinpointed the way they had to go. They could go one way, but he did know a less crowded side street that would have them wade through less crowd. Flipping back, he once again offered one of his fluffy hand-paws at Jay. He knew she would not mind and he wanted to make sure not to lose someone so hyper somewhere else.

"Shall we go then?"

S-someone thought it was nice to meet her?!

LIKE FOR REAL?!

Today was gonna be a really great and delightful day, she could feel it in her funky, rubbery bones!

Huh--okay wait he said Yuma first, so that meant he probably wanted her to call him by that name, right? That was probably the safest bet to roll with, so she'd stick with that! Though it was so weird that he didn't want a thank you gift for the help...

"Wow! Folks here are so nice just to be nice! I think I'm gonna be really happy to keep calling this place home~!" Chirping up those words with a shrill of delight, she didn't bother hiding the fact that she wasn't born and raised here in the glorious land of the rising sun. Carefully tucking her phone into the handy dandy pocket of her skirt she totally sewed in as a snazzy addition, cause in the house of Jaida, pockets were a necessity! Reaching over to carefully grasp upon his super duper soft, fluffy hand, "Ready~!", swaying their arms gently to and fro as she followed his pace in their stroll.

"Soooo, Yuma, ya aren't into miniatures n' stuff...then whaddaya into? Fashion? Food? Games? Cars?" The curiosity in her tone suited her gaze in a complimentary fashion as she awaited his answer. Socializing was a two-lane highway, after all! Wouldn't it just suck to be stuck around someone else who didn't give a crap about the other? That wasn't a very good friend and she certainly didn't wanna give those kinda bad vibes!

What was his major hobby interest. Yuma did have to make a double take there, to figure out what he wanted to say that hopefully didn't make the lady he was holding paws with start bouncing around.

"Nothing too too interesting for most people." He stated, considering his current free time. "I guess you could say I'm kind of a techy. I do like tech in general." He would conclude, opting to omit his passion for weapons. Probably not a good thing in the eyes of a miniature collector.

"What got you into miniature collection in any case? I hear that kinda stuff is super expensive. Sometimes it is also hard to find copies of the things you need to complete your collection." He would point out. Granted, he only knew that from third party sources and heresay, so perhaps it wasn't as prohibitive as he was making it out to be. "I guess if you just focus on one kind of miniature it makes the whole thing much easier yeah?"

He took a left, then a right. They were getting close and the shortcut was doing wonders with avoiding having to wade through crowds during rush and post rush hour. A couple minutes more of walking and the fabled shop would appear right there down the street.

When he claimed that whatever he was into wasn't all that interesting, she let out a scoff! CAUSE OH C'MOOOON! Everyone found something interesting for a reason, right?! Though when he mentioned he was into tech, it was like someone offered her free food, her eyes glimmering with awe ridden intrigue, "Awww snap! Whaddaya meeeeaaaaan it's not interesting?! Tech stuff is so cool!" SOMETHING HUUUUUUUUUUUGE she had in common with this dude! Maybe he was more into repairing computers and such, but OH MAN, maybe she could change his view on miniatures?!

After all, she modded some to move and being somewhat functioning while making her own lil fun-sized mechs...!

"I looooooove building stuff! So building different kits and even doing some kit bashing is SOOOOOOO my jam! Sometimes I'll switch between kits, workin' on multiple stuff at a time!" Holding up her free hand, she flailed it to and fro as she continued yabbering away, "Or , or I'll work on my own projects and stuff for clients! YOOOOOOO I SHOULD SHOW YA MY SHOP AT SOME POINT! I got some cool techy stuff you could check out!" Fussing about in her bag with one hand, she quickly fished up her business card before holding it up to him like an excitable cat that got promised treats, "Tick Tack Tinker! I do repairs on the go an' have pop up shops, but! I got a main shop over in Shinjuku, gimme a call if ya wanna swing by or need help!"

Though at the corner of her eye, that's when her attention jumped right over to the all too familiar sign!

Ooooh man, hopefully this trip would go smoothly! There were rumors of some weirdo who would target folks going after the same rare plushies that they wanted...but that was mostly a rumor...right? There was no real evidence about it and part of her doubted she'd have a niche interest with some jerkwad...and if she did? Well darn, guess she'd have to cross that bridge when it gets there...right?

For now, she'd excitedly guide her companion along into the shop, totally dismissing one of the shady people lurking about the cluster of regular looking patrons. CAUSE WOW SHE WAS JUST SO EXCITED!
