Most people probably wouldn't go hiking up a mountain to get away from the busy streets of Tokyo. She certainly wasn't the type. She was happy-go-lucky and didn't lack the spirit, but her legs were typically beat after a week of waiting tables. Still, here she was making her way up a mountain for the holiday. It was not only a break from work, but a chance to get to do some of the things she loved, but had neglected during her rush to become famous. In fact, this was the first time since forever she went out without her guitar on her back. She was a workaholic at heart, but had sworn off song writing for the duration of this mini trip. Instead, she was wearing a backpack, packed to the brim with all sorts of things in case of emergencies, with a snowboard attached to it. Having hiked for a while, she finally arrived at a resting area where she could set her things down and take a break. ''Mountains are so biiig!'' She sighed, using her cap to fan herself as she looked around for her water bottle. ''I don't know how some people live in the mountains every day, I feel like my legs are becoming mush already.'' She put her cap back on and took a big sip of water. Ever the extrovert, she turned to the person next to her. ''Are you going up the mountain to get a blessing too?'' It was kind of a nothing question considering this was the big holiday where everyone made the hike to pay homage, but she just needed to get a conversation started! Yue "Bun" Tuzi

The Moon Rabbit! Could blessings from the mountains...
...even just one...
...be enough...? A cold, lavender gaze traced along the crowd...watching people laugh and their voices blended into a reverberating white noise. A curious smile curled across her lips like a feline, all of them meant nothing more than wallets to pull money from one day. Everyone would drop yen for something, some didn't even care...some people just bought things to fill the void in their lives with something tangible to hold. Something to give them solace and peace, tit for tat, deals to be made, trades to be completed. Maybe she should invite herself to someone's conversation to learn more about them, find out what made them tick... The good, the bad, the ugly... ...successful businesses knew their target market as a whole and it was her job to get to know people. Being familiar with those around her, it wasn't that much different from getting to know the mountains themselves...was it? Before she could take a step forward towards a group that looked more gullible than children at an arcade, she turned towards a voice speaking out to her. One that seemed familiar, but the face resting within her gaze didn't give off the same chime. Tch...this sucker will have to do, I guess...The petite girl dolled up in a puffy red jacket and black leggings accented with gold thread brightened up as she chirped up in the most delightful, friendly inviting tone, "Mmm-mmm! I am! How about we go together~?" Adding a happy little bob of her heels, she shimmied in place to adjust her bag with a playful grin, "Name's Tuzi, Yue! Bweep~! But! You can call me Bun! Most people do~!" Granted, she had to pace herself all the same, but having company would make it less boring as well... ...but why did she sound familiar when she didn't recognize her at all? Whatever. Maybe it wasn't important, nothing more than another grain of salt in the shaker, probably. The creamy, brown knitted hat upon her head had a pair of long, lop bunny ears that she could easily use to flop into a scarf if need be. Yet for now, they were loose as they accented her very own lively movements as she carried the air of being a friendly, approachable sweet heart oh so happy to make a shiny new friend!

''Sure! ~ Did you come here alone too?'' She didn't want to make any assumptions, but neither of them were part of a big group at the moment. ''Nice to meet you, Bun! I'm Yvel Koyama.'' If Yue knew her family name she would recognize that Yvel was from a family that was absolutely loaded with money. So much so that she didn't have to worry about things like rent, but only took on low-paying jobs because she was forced to as part of her years apart from the family. ''How are you feeling? Ready to continue climbing?''She adjusted her own backpack and couldn't help but notice Yue's hat, or really all of her. She managed to stand out from the crowd and look especially friendly. Maybe that was why she had approached her in the first place? She couldn't say for sure since she had just started talking to her without sparring it a second thought. She was glad she did, though. It gave her someone to talk to on the hike up. ''Is that your quirk? It's cute.'' She smiled pointing at Yue's hat, assuming that she had some kind of mutation quirk. Looking off to the side she noticed a deer walking between snow-covered trees. ''What do you do for a living?'' Her eyes lingered on the deer for a moment, but she soon looked back at Yue. ''I wait tables, but in-between work I play in a band.''Yue "Bun" Tuzi

The Moon Rabbit! Maybe she would have dragged Yohannes along if he hadn't been sleeping in for the five millionth time this week, but that was neither here nor there at this rate. Though at the same time, she sort of felt like this was some venture that was better taken solo...aside from being able to wiggle her way into groups and what have you. There was something personal about the journey, too... "Mmmhmm~! I'll still have fun, though~!" The smile across her lips was a thoughtful one that matched her chipper affirmation, following a couple of nods with a excited little squeak! Then her eyes widened ever so slightly as the girl before her turned into just a massive bag of money within the depths of her mind... "Bweep, Koyama~?" Oh my god, the person she met by happenstance would make one hell of a customer! Granted, the petite gal hadn't been exactly struggling when it came to money...but more never hurt and was always more than welcome... "Wow, your name's so pretty!" Saying those words with a chipper smile she adjusted the straps of her bag with a little hop and shuffle. "You, yup! I'm ready to go~! Aaaa, it's nice I can have someone to hang out with when I gotta take a break, though! Bweep, we get to keep each other company~!" When the other girl mentioned her quirk for a moment, she let go of one strap and pointed up to her hat, slowly fluttering her lashes into a couple of blinks, "Bweepbweep? My hat? Oh um!" Did she think she was hiding real bunny ears under this thing? WELL...Ms. Money Bags Koyama wasn't completely off base, "E-eheh, I guess kinda sorta? A lil..." Flipping one of the ears over her shoulder, she couldn't help but have a lil warmth of fondness shine through, "...that's prolly why my mom made it this way, fits the bunny ears whenever I've got em'..." Even though her mother's lifestyle was the culprit to opening her eyes on the importance money tied into power, that woman always had her best interests in mind at the end of the day. ...even the little things like some cute hat being made so it would be comfortable, no matter the form she was in. Thankfully, it was stretchy and a little baggy in all the right places so it could be a life time fit as long as she took care of it. Though that question about what she did for a living merited a little thought...she quite literally spent her time trying to analyze people to see what she could try to sell them, then what felt like a lifetime of trying to be useful. Though as she listened thoughtfully to Yvel talk about herself, following her gaze towards a deer wandering on by, it was a little odd that someone coming from such a wealthy family would be waiting tables rather than just focusing on the band stuff. Then again... ...it made some sense in that she'd be a waitress. Getting a little extra money never hurt and waiting tables meant a window of opportunity to network with folks, bring them to shows for a few extra eyes as an organic means of advertising. Word of mouth was cheaper than printing up posters, even a smart person with lots of money in the bank knew that. "You're in a band?! Wooooow, that sounds fun!" In a weird way....she stopped seeing Yohannes as some rival and more like a potential business partner...mutually beneficial ties. Turning her gaze towards her for a moment, she let out a soft gasp as though she'd been stricken by the brightest light bulb, "I know someone who runs a music shop if your band ever needs that! You know, getting your stuff out there, I'm also pretty good at business stuff~!" Thumb pointing towards herself with a soft chuckle, she was genuinely enthralled by the opportunity to possibly make a business contact! "I'm an independent entrepreneur of sorts, but I'm also trying to become a Pro-Hero, so I'm studying over at U.A.U in their support program to expand my horizons~" Finishing those words with a nod, though she couldn't help but look around and genuinely take in the scenery itself... ...there was always so much focus on the hustle and bustle of the city that she never actually went out of her way to enjoy the things outside of it. Unless it meant she could gain something from it, like when she went out of her way to seek out a cryptid for a few quick bucks and free advertisement one day. Even then, it wasn't something she did to truly enjoy nature, see what it had to offer...none of that. In a way, it was crazy how many things there were that she'd been robbed of in more ways than one. Slowing her steps down, she turned her gaze towards something that caught her attention...a pair of perked up ears that wiggled above a rock before a little face of a hare poked up, wiggling its nose as the critter's whiskers danced in the sunlight. Seeing its head tilt at her, she couldn't help but find herself tilt with it as a curiously squeaked out "Bweep~?" chirped out of her. It was no wonder animals sold so well as plushies...they really have such a comforting charm about them...don't they? AAAAAND then without warning, it bolted to a near by bush which caused her to stagger backwards and nearly lose balance, ESPECIALLY with that large bag on her back! Yvel Koyama 🦌 🐇

''Wouldn't doubt it! There's something refreshing to being alone sometimes, don't you think?'' She was the type of girl who threw extravagant parties, rented out places, got the best food, the best drinks, the best everything for her guests and she didn't even glance at the total cost. Didn't feel it the day after when she was mega hungover either. That was the life she used to lead, always surrounded by people. If it wasn't family, or friends it was butlers and other staff at the estate. She had to admit, even though she hated poor living, getting her own cramped apartment in Tokyo was its own kind of refreshing. A place where she could shut herself away from the world and work on writing music... Wait, she was thinking about music again! ''Koooooyama, that's right!'' She smiled proudly, holding up a peace sign. Her family name was well-known in some circles and no thanks to the daughter herself who exuded nepotism. ''Have you heard of me? Or my parents, they're business people.'' What exactly did they do? Well, business-y stuff! Whatever it was it earned them a lot of money so Yvel never really cared to ask or find out. ''You think?'' She put her hands together and fluttered her eyelashes. ''Not as pretty as yours! I've never met a Tuzi Yue before! And Bun's such a cute nickname.'' She was ecstatic that Bun was happy to keep her company too. Was she going to potentially get a lot of money out of Yvel later? Most likely, but that didn't matter now! She was making a friend and nothing could ruin that. Not even her complete lack of self-control when it came to spending money. ''Ooh!'' She was easily impressed as Bun showed off her bunny ears. ''Do you have super hearing too? I bet it must feel nice. ~'' As they walked her legs started to feel sore. ''They should cut down some of these trees and make way for a lift.'' She whined, letting out a small sigh. If she hadn't been willing to engage with tradition, she would be sitting in a private helicopter right now, enjoying whatever luxury goodies her heart desired. Then again, if that was the case she also wouldn't have met Yue here. ''Y-Yeah!!'' She smiled nervously, realizing she had talked on and on, forgetting to mention the fact that her other band member was currently a missing person and she had been doing solo acts for the last two months. ''Huh, wait- you do? No way!'' Her face lit up when Bun mentioned the music shop. Just roll with it! Saying she was in a band made her sound more legitimate anyway! ''You're business savvy? That must be so useful! I'd love to visit that shop.'' She sighed blissfully. ''It's tough being underground, it's a fight to even get people to listen to what you make.''''E-Entrepreneur and pro hero?'' Suddenly Bun was shining with a dazzling glow, the glow of someone who worked hard to achieve their dreams! It was almost blinding to the naturally lazy Yvel who was just scrounging around between jobs and occasionally worked on music, but wasted so many hours of her day away too. ''Do you have a hero name? I'll cheer you on!'' Her eyes were practically sparkles. Would making a hero friend not elevate her own status too? When the hare appeared and it shared a moment with Bun, Yvel had to cover her mouth as she fangirled quietly, trying not to scare the little critter away. When it eventually bolted she looked back to her friend and quickly reached an arm out. ''Bun, look out!'' Hopefully she could help catch her in time! Arriving at the next checkpoint the snow had gotten thicker, perfect for snowboarding! ''Do you like winter sports?'' She smiled up at Bun as she took her snowboard off her backpack. Yue "Bun" Tuzi

The Moon Rabbit! Bobbling her head in a nod of agreement with a thoughtful smile to those words, she really did think that sometimes alone time was a good thing...being surrounded and stuck around people all the time could be suffocating. Even if she was more than happy to surround herself with people, then lull them into a sense of security to lighten their wallets with an array of products to offer. Having moments to herself, sorting out those thoughts and sifting through some semblance of peace was far from being a bad thing in her book... ...though the question was does she play the part of ignorance? No, sometimes it was better to make a garden flourish by offering it all the more attention, "I heard about your family name in the business world, it's so cool I'm meeting their daughter!" Though she did feel her face warm up ever so slightly, her cheeks a touch of carnation as she heard a sincere compliment about her name over all...it was deeeeefinitely not something she heard every day. "Bweepbweepbweep th-thanks!" Fussing with the ears of her hat, she was officially in the company of someone who would probably be easy to make bank off of...but actually nice to her? Being around the block and having been through enough of a life experience, she was generally pretty good about sniffing out the difference between sarcasm and sincerity. Which...well..when someone met her with sarcasm, she had her way of rolling with those punches. Today wasn't that day as far as she could tell and if she was wrong...the reckoning of a thousand merchants would be upon Ms. Koyama, wiggling her nose slightly, she arched her brows and spoke in a chirp, "Huuuh...I don't think it's enhanced at all, it's kinda weird? Weird like this place not having a lift, weird..."Honestly, she could have lied about it, but there was the off chance something bad could happen out here and it's not like she wanted to appear like some sort of bullshit artist. Especially since it wasn't like she could hear for someone buried beneath the snow, which...unlikely, but she didn't want that sort of responsibility to come back and bite her in the ass. There were already enough folks she couldn't help back then...that was more than enough of a weight on her conscience. After all, she wasn't going into Pro-Hero work to see how much of a let down she could be. So with that, she was completely and utterly honest... Though she couldn't help but chuckle and smile bright, getting someone like this a solid step forward in the industry and possibly calling dibs on becoming her manager?! This was way too good to pass up! "Yup~! We'll work somethin' out so you can check out the shop and if you'd like, I could even be your manager~! I got lot's of good ideas for merch~" Though the mention of being underground reminded her of when she just binge listened to a bunch of random tracks, trying to figure out what group Yohannes could possibly reach out to for a deal...and a sense of musically inclined curiosity. ........thaaaaaaaaaaat's why her voice was familiar...! IT WAS ALL STARTING TO MAKE MORE SENSE! Mmmhmm~! Moon Rabbit~!" The moment of irony that fate would have a hare, of all things, startle her! Seeing Yvel's arm reach out, her eyes grew wide as she flailed in a panic to grab it like a freaked out cat as her body PLOUFED as if it was trying to act like an airbag in a crash! The floppy ears of her hat suddenly a little less wiggly since now...they had her bunny ears in them. For a moment, she was wide eyed like a deer in headlights as she got her footing adjusted and blinked a few times as her racing heart got back to normal. "Fwooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....thanks..." Letting out a hell of a sigh, she released Yvel's arm and held the straps of her bag while continuing on with...what was feeling kinda...almost...like a friend...that she could definitely get lots of money out of if she played her cards right... As they got to the next check point, she let out a soft gasp and smiled excitedly since... "I've always wanted to try snowboarding or skiing! Bweep!" With her ears perking up a bit, she very clearly didn't have a snowboard on hand, let alone skiis...so she did the next best thing... ...THAT'S RIGHT! She took off her gloves, tucking them away in her pocket with a grin as a smooth bridge emerged from her palms. USE HER QUIRK TO MAKE ONE! Looking at Yvel's snowboard, then back to her bridge, she adjusted the rails so it would fit her feet as a snowboard would and picked it up, "Fuufuufuu~! This oughta be fun~!" It wasn't often that she actually felt more alive and happy around someone, but it felt like things were clicking in a way that she could find herself connecting with someone. Maybe...maybe this was the way of the mountains blessing her...who knows. Yvel Koyama 🦌 🐇

''E-Eh you think so? Well, my parents are rich I guess!'' She chuckled, feeling a little out of place since she hadn't gone to see her family in months. It was part of her whole journey of experiencing working life in society after all. Yue's reaction to her complimenting her name was even cuter than the name itself and Yvel couldn't help but smile. She loved giving compliments to others because they usually liked being complimented and it cost her nothing to do it. ''I know right?'' Like, how hadn't some wealthy businessman come along and built a lift to the top already? Should she take it on herself? She pondered the thought for a moment, but to hire that many people and move that much of her wealth around seemed like such a headache. Not to mention it wouldn't further her dying music career either! ''I guess mutations aren't always that easy to predict.''Her eyes lit up at what Bun said next. Had she just stumbled upon her dream person or what?! Offering to be her manager and everything? ''Really? I'd love that! You really sound like a pro, getting ideas already!'' She immediately braced herself, doing her best to support Bun on her way back up to stable ground. ''S-Sorry I'm no hero or anything! I don't have super reflexes or super muscles.'' She smiled apologetically, letting out a sigh of relief when her friend was upright again. ''Moon Rabbit is a great hero name, it sounds so majestic.'' Would also make a great band name! She could imagine the cover art of this hypothetical band, moons and rabbits... What kind of music would they play? ''Really?'' She smiled, untangling her snowboard from her backpack. ''If you want you can borrow-'' She wasn't even done offering her snowboard when Bun suddenly just materialized one?! The design wasn't one-to-one snowboard. It looked more like a bridge than anything, but it looked serviceable for the snow slopes. ''N-No way!'' Her jaw dropped and her snowboard did too, unable to NOT fangirl at how amazing this quirk display was. ''You made that look so effortless! You can just make things?'' The stars were practically sparkling out of her eyes as she inspected Bun's 'snowboard' from every angle. ''I'll teach you what I know, it's fun!'' She grinned, scooping her own snowboard back up. ''There's some safe slopes we can practice on over here.''Yue "Bun" Tuzi

The Moon Rabbit! Geeze... ...it was so weird finding someone out it the wild who was increasing their value as a human being in such a short span of time. Most folks were so easy to be perceived as some sort of shiny stepping stone that could be easily used, yes, all while also bringing them closer to their own goals. "Feh-heh, no kiddin'..." Snickering about how unpredictable mutations were! Aside from herself, there were a great deal of folks who had looks that could be deceiving...but maybe she could figure out some sort of gizmo that could help those bunny ears function? ...it would take some work, or maybe she could find some sucker to do her bidding? Either way, it was a yen worth her thoughts to pocket for later that might amount to something worthwhile later... ...hm. Though! When she lost her footing and this shiny new acquaintance climbing the ladder towards friendship actually helped her? It didn't matter that she wasn't some sort of hero, hell...even if she didn't have a quirk that could help or something...! That increased her value as a person and she'd make it her mission to rake in some money while trying to build the bridge of success in an ambitious career! Look, it was a bitch out there to be someone who stood out in the music industry with so much competition...so it was all about the marketing approach. The one who has the best marketing will rise above the rest...right? Heheheh...of course... Though she couldn't help but be caught a weeeeeeeee bit off guard when Yvel actually said her hero name was majestic, "B-bweep! O-of course it is...!" Those words came out as though confidence danced about with nervousness. OH BUT BOY HOWDY DID SHE LET OUT A SQUEAKED "B-bweep! I--" Fussing with the bridge edition snow board, she let out a huff and a playful grin crossed her lips, "--I've had a lot of practice! I'll show ya what else I can do someday~" Bringing up her hand to lightly brush the tip of her nose with her thumb, "Fuufuu~! This oughtta be fun! I'm a pretty quick learner, let's go~!" Thrusting her fist into the air for a moment, she then put her gloves back on so the crescent accented beans would be covered once more. Using her elbows to rest upon her snowboard and then getting ready to follow Yvel, her tail lightly wiggling in sheer excitement! Crazy to think that for all the time she'd been alive...not once did she do any fun activities in the snow...it's a good thing she was changing that with someone who was worthwhile to be around. Was that kind of weird of her? To comment on mutations like that because she didn't have any? Yue wasn't bothered by it, was she? Maybe she was just overthinking it and feeling awkward about nothing. She was glad it didn't linger in the air for long and that the conversation just carried on naturally, especially since it turned out Yue was a hero student. Meeting one like this wasn't something she got to do every day, in fact, she didn't really know any hero students besides from Sumi, and they weren't super close or anything. ''Right? It's the type of name where if I heard it, it immediately makes me think of a hero.'' The Moon Rabbit saves the day once again! She could totally imagine turning on the news and silently punching the air at home, cheering for Moon Rabbit as she pulled off yet another heroic feat. Her reaction to the compliment made it all the sweeter and Yvel couldn't help but chuckle softly. ''Please do!'' Even though she hated her own quirk, she loved hearing about other's especially one as interesting as Yue's. ''Right! Let's go!'' She raised a fist above her head and got ready too, securing herself to her snowboard. ''You ready Bun? Try and keep up if you can!'' She smiled over her shoulder before she pushed ahead, taking off down the slope. Yvel was no stranger to snowboarding or even skiing, but for some reason on this particular day, as they were hurdling down the side of the mountain, picking up speed along the way... She slipped.
