"Mnhrrhhh... water... water..."

Mako groaned in between sinking her teeth into her arm. Trying to focus on it rather than on the delicious girl that just hopped right next to her, hoping to help. She'd need to wash this blood out of her mouth... And bandage it tight enough so that the scent wasn't easily caught. She could hardly catch what the girl was saying. Something something first aid, responders, all that. Yeah, that would be nice. Right about now. 

And then she introduced herself.

Somehow, it brought Mako's blood-lusting mind a degree of clarity. Reminding her on some visceral level that she was a human, a person. Not whatever her mutation was trying to make her into. Slowly, she opened her mouth, and let go of her arm, which was now bleeding slowly into the arm. Spat what she had pooled, on the ground, too. 

"Right... I'm Mako..."

Did she introduce herself before? The shark didn't remember. She tried not to look at Jun, or at her arm. Or at anything or anyone reminding her of food right now. 

"Bandages would be nice too..."

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun nodded, coughing into her arm as she held up her other hand to indicate for Mako to stay there. She rushed up as quick as she could up onto the dock, looking around and finding a first aid box. She pulled it open, grabbed a pack from it, and ran back down to the line where Mako was. Sirens would be off in the distance, growing closer and Jun began to open the pack and stagger. Easy, gotta stay up. You're useless if you pass out now. "Alright, lemme see it. I gotta apply an antibacterial, so it's going to sting for a bit...at the very least, I can try and stop the bleeding." As Jun began to work, she looked up at Mako and gave her a small smile. "You did good out there. That thing was totally unexpected and-" she stopped, her face paling as she realized something. "That thing...it destroyed my boat." Mood killed. She let out a sigh, continuing to work again. Hojirozame Mako

"Oh no... it'll sting..."

Mako snarled a little at the little warning. After the bites she made, she figured she was a little bit past the point of worrying about it hurting a little bit more. So, the shark girl ignored the unpleasantness, as her arm was being sprinkled and then bandaged, bit by bit. Slowly, she started looking at the girl helping her out.

Jeez, she's pale.

It looked as though Jun was about to collapse any moment now! The comment about the boat made Mako look towards the sea, for a bit. She remembered the boat. Before it was smashed to pieces, at least...

"Sorry about the boat..." - she added, looking back at Jun. "You alright? You got hit too, when this started..." - Mako asked, and moved the fingers on her bandaged hand, to make sure that she could still move them.

"You look pretty pale, too."

[attr="class","bmsk"] in blackest night... Jun shook her head, coughing into her arm again as she finished up the work. It was messy and not the greatest, but to her credit she was injured. "Ribs, I think. Don't worry about it, I don't do touch well..." It was one of the reasons why her bandage job was not as good as it could have been. She was on the edge of panicking as the adrenaline began to wear down. At the very least, some EMS began to arrive as well as the police. This was going to be an interesting interview. "Don't worry about the boat, not your fault. I'll try to salvage what I can later-" she cut off mid-sentence as she fell backwards into the sand, unable to stay up any longer. At the very least professionals were on the scene, so help was just a hop, skip and a jump away. Hojirozame Mako

"Don't do touch well? But you're touching me."

"Oh."

As soon as the girl finished the bandage on Mako's arm, it didn't take long for her to fall out cold. The girl caught her head with her hand, before she could hit the sandy ground with it. 'Must be tough being a hero for you then... Yet you do it anyway.' - the shark-girl thought. She could respect such an attitude. It was very ... selfless and hero-like. Not like her own attitude. She looked forward to it like looking forward to a paycheck. At least, when she thought rationally about it. 

Looking around, Mako could see the alarms of ambulances and police blurring in the distance. Looked at Jun again.

'Would take a while for them to see us. Ehhh... you're unconscious anyway. C'mere...'

Mako would pick Jun up from the ground. She was a pretty diminutive girl compared to tall and wiry frame that the shark-girl had. So, carrying her wasn't all that difficult. She'd bring her over to where the ambulances were, to make sure those broken ribs did not puncture any organs. Get her in shape. And maybe take a better look at that chewed arm of hers. Mako gave the ocean a wary look. Waters weren't friendly no more.

'Wonder where those things are coming from, and why... Ehhh, someone else will deal with that. There's always a bigger fish...'
