sling shot Today started off pretty darn normal! You know, go out to do some repairs and help some folks improve their tech for a lower cost than some of her competitions, acting like her own employee...NORMAL STUFF! Secret bosses were a thing, so eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh acting like her own employee wasn't really all that weird, eeeeeespecially for the sake of a just-in-case alibi! A fisherman mentioned his GPS was on the fritz and he was the second to last stop of the day... ...he rambled about how some fish had weird eyes, almost human-like and others had fins that were sharp like knives. The techy was today years old when she heard about someone getting their finger lopped off by a fish fin of all things! SO after some idle chatter, it turns out things have been getting worse. Although she always told herself it could always be worse, it kept sounding like it was going down that path the more they spoke. Wrapping things up, she was headed over to the final client in the area and her arm started ringing, bringing her hand up to the neon blue moon resting upon the side of her head, she traced her finger along it to connect the call. Bringing her thumb to her ear and pinkie pointed at her crimson lips, she spoke up with one of the usual shpeals, "Ello, ello! Tick Tack Tinker for all your tinkering needs! How can I--" "I have to cancel my appointment, there was an evacuation notice and--" There was a scream amidst the static as the call cut off in a commotion. Turning her gaze towards the building she was headed off to and... ...oh that was... ....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yeah those were people being forced out of a building loaded with water! YEAH THIS DAY WAS UH........ .....IT REALLY COULD BE WORSE, BUT THIS WAS PRETTY BAD?! A fish with tendrils accented by fingers zipped on by, using its freaky appendages like some kind of speedy windmill "...ohmuhguuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?" Then it abruptly stopped and turned towards her. Those dead fish eyes staring at her and...it...it was coated with water? As cool as this was, reminding her of some of those trippy animes she'd watch every now and again, she had an immediate threat just having a staring contest with her. IT LOOKED AT HER....... SHE LOOKED AT IT........ IT WAS STILL LOOKING AT HER.................. AND SHE WAS STILL LOOKING AT IT............ Rummaging through her bag, she didn't have time to drop Ghouligan a line, or anyone...it reminded her of a cat ready to attack and---yup! It lunged right at her face and began chewing away, which she was generally pretty numb to things trying to murder her face of...LITERALLY, the critter's teeth gnawing against her skin made ridiculous squeaky noises. "Errrmffff thrfff efffshhh ishhhh!" Plucking out the wrench from her bag, she gave it a swift SMACK, then kept bonking it on the head as its finger ridden tendrils writhed and wiggled about per smack. Oh yeah today was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not normal, but it kinda was in a weird way! TODAY'S LOOK! solaris 🌞

As Robert arrived at Tokyo Bay, the scene that unfolded before him was beyond bizarre. He witnessed Jaida Conner, the tech-savvy girl, - the very person he has never met before - locked in a fierce battle with a monstrous fish creature, its tendrils adorned with fingers giving it an otherworldly appearance, while he was still in his casual attire and not exactly in his U.A uniform, he couldn’t help but be gravely concerned. He was still incredibly new to Quirks, and his one was the literal definition of a late bloomer department! “Whoa, what the heck is going on here? Tokyo Bay looks like a disaster zone. There's this weird fish creature attacking someone! Hang on, woman, I'll help you out!” Robert thought to himself, his eyes widened to have seen what was going on, and possibly what could’ve been a sheer instinctual drive to try and help her out, even at the face of sheer absurdity of him being the very, very, veeery slightly above average human, Robert began to run towards the fish with the tendrils. "Hey, hang on! I'll help you!!" Robert called out, rushing toward her. With all the determination he could muster, the student attempted to intervene, but oh boy, it seemed like this fish creature was far stronger than he expected, which was honestly… Yeah, in his condition very much expected. His attempts to pry it off were comically feeble, like trying to wrestle as a particularly determined kitten against a fully grown dog. In a moment of panic, the creature turned its attention toward Robert, swiftly biting down on his hand. "YYYEEEEEEEEOOOOOW!!!" Robert yelled in pain, his initial attempt at heroics backfiring spectacularly. But then, something unexpected happened. As the pain surged through him, Robert felt a sudden surge of strength coursing through his body—his Quirk, the Solar Energy Absorption, activated in the face of danger. With newfound vigor, the grabbed hold of the creature, its teeth still clamped onto his hand, and began to lift it off the ground. The fish creature, comedically dangling like a ragdoll and Robert running around in circles as if his pants were on fire, proceeded to slam the slimey creature onto the ground was punctuated by his demand for it to release him. The whole scene was both intense and oddly comedic, a battle between Robert and a fish creature with tendrils.
“GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET IT OFF!!!”
Robert bellowed, his voice a mix of pain and determination. Using his enhanced strength, he swung the creature around, slamming it repeatedly onto the ground, each impact accompanied by a fierce shout. The fish creature wriggled and flailed, its grip on Robert's hand weakening with each forceful slam. With a final, powerful toss, Robert hurled the creature away from him, sending it crashing into the ground. Gasping for breath, adrenaline coursing through him, Robert staggered back, his hand throbbing from the bite. He looked at Jaida, a mix of relief and embarrassment on his face. "Are you... okay?" he managed to ask between breaths, trying to mask the lingering pain. Robert took a look at his hand and… Oooo, that is gonna be sore in the morning…

sling shot Bonk! BAWNK!BONKITY BONK BONK!AWH HELL, if this thing didn't get off of her face, she'd probably suffocate! Each bonk became a little more swift with a stronger force behind it, but then she heard someone calling out about helping! OH WAS SOMEONE GONNA HELP HER?! Wait, wait there were other folks in peril, too...weren't there? HM...well! Ya know what? It could be worse! Though the sound of rapid footsteps approached and she blurted out the most coherent, "MRRRMMMFFRRRMMMMBBBBBBBHHHHHHHHHHH" When she could feel the freaky fish on her face getting feebly wraaaaassled, she stopped with the bonk assaults, snapped her fingers as a light bulb moment in her noggin took place, then brought the wrench up to try and hook it between her face and the creature's jaws! ......... ...........why didn't she just do that from the get go? OH WELL! That was neither here nor there and it seemed like between the both of them trying to get the creature who looked as though it rolled out of a lovecraftian fever dream? HER FACE WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Though now she had punctures indented on her face...aaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwkward..... OH EVEN MORE AWKWARD WAS THE FACT THAT IT CLICKED THEIR COMBINED EFFORTS ISN'T WHY SHE COULD SEE AGAIN....nawwwwhhhhhhrrrrrr it was seeing it chose to bite down on his hand instead, yikes forever! Gritting her unusually sharp teeth, inhaling the air as she watched the spectacle before her. Much like a cat trying to figure out which way she should go, she lightly shuffled and bobbed to the left--oop! Right! LEFT?! R-RIGHT? This little shimmy jig was during the duration of her hero rushing around like he was on fire or something! Aaaaaa shoot! She didn't want to accidentally hurt him, she just wanted to talk to that rude ass fish by creating a new language called WRENCH TO THE FACE UNTIL IT DON'T MOVE NOOOOOOOOO MO'! So she opted to wiggle her hands and yell out "GEEEEEEEEEEEET EM'!" Cheering him on, she was DEFINITELY not in the business of potentially hurting innocent people and this dude fell in that category! Once the fish menace was defeated, she let out a wheeze and skated over to pick up momentum, then as she swept her foot into a kick, she twitched her fingers of her cybernetic arm to activate that particular foot's hover function for an extra OOMPH! Sending the fish flying like it was part of a particular duo aiming to always steal some kid's capsule monster bff, she let out a heavy exhale and set her foot down, "AAAAAAAND STAY GONE, SUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Flailing her wrench in the now flying fish's direction with a scoff through her nostrils, she looked towards the guy who helped her with a grin, "Better now! Geeze, I was pretty sure I was gonna lose air or somethin' an--oh no.." A slight frown broke her smile as she furrowed her brows, looking at his hand and pouted, "I think I should be the one askin' you that, buddy boy...lemme see, please.." Putting away the wrench, she held out her cybernetic looking hand out towards him and used her more normal looking hand to lightly rub her face so the dips in her flesh would smooth out. If he offered his hand for her to inspect, she'd be checking it out to see if he was bleeding at all. Poor guy, if only she mastered the art of beating freaky fish up with her wrench...curses! solaris🌞

As the chaos unfolded, Jaida's ingenious use of the wrench to dislodge the creature from her face left Robert both impressed and relieved. He watched in a mix of shock and amusement as she skillfully utilized her cybernetic arm and foot to send the fish creature soaring through the air. youtube.com/clip/Ugkx7bEZM9cynj83oT6gHyLmJ6QuxKdpzsxu?si=2Gv2R6fO6KPM8eJ_"And it's a hard fly to left field! It's going... Going... GONE!! AND IT’S OUTTA HERE!!" Robert cheered, unable to contain both his American baseball commentary, and his newfound admiration for Jaida's swift and precise kick. He was both grateful for her assistance and thoroughly entertained by her prowess in dealing with the bizarre threat. However, his focus swiftly turned back to the pain throbbing in his hand, a result of the creature's bite. He felt a wave of exhaustion wash over him, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. "You really know how to kick some fin, that was amazing!" Robert complimented her, trying to mask the discomfort. He glanced at his hand, cringing slightly at the sight of the puncture marks and blood. Despite his efforts to stay composed, the pain was undeniable. When Jaida offered to inspect his hand, he hesitated for a moment before extending it towards her. As she examined his hand, Robert winced, but it seemed that his Quirk, the Solar Energy Absorption, was already at work. The wounds didn't bleed as profusely as expected, and the damage didn't seem as severe as it should have been. "I've... been through worse," he mumbled, trying to downplay the situation while also feeling grateful for his Quirk's ability to mitigate some of the damage. "Now, I just want to ask, while I try to remain pleasantly calm... The fuck is going on?" Robert inquired, his tone a mix of curiosity and bewilderment. The events at Tokyo Bay were far beyond anything he'd encountered before, even with his late-blooming Quirk abilities. Though just before he could even hope to get his hand checked up, Robert's eyes widened as he observed more of those eerie fish-like creatures emerging from the waters of Tokyo Bay. "Um... Behind you..." he began, his voice tinged with concern, "More are coming."The sight sent a chill down his spine. It wasn't just one or two; it seemed like a horde of these aberrant creatures was rising from the bay, their unnatural appearance and menacing demeanour indicating an impending threat. He quickly assessed the situation, realizing that dealing with these creatures one by one wouldn't be feasible. "We need to get out of here, and fast," Robert urged, his mind racing to find a solution. Tokyo Bay was becoming a breeding ground for these bizarre entities, and he knew they needed to warn others and figure out a plan before things spiralled further out of control. Without waiting for a response, he motioned for Jaida to follow him, hoping to find a safe vantage point to assess the situation and alert authorities. The urgency of the situation was evident, and he couldn't shake off the feeling that this was just the beginning of a much larger crisis.

sling shot: 10/10 ⚙️ "H-heh! Thanks! What can I say? I've been 'round the block!" Grinning wide to show off her own sharp chompers with a sense of pride, she was honestly glad to bump into a good spirited dude out here! The circumstances sucked, but she suppooooooooooooosed it could be worse! Still, having someone cheer for her punting a freaky fish was a nice change of pace from no one giving a hoot or holler about her efforts... THAT WAS NEITHER HERE NOR THERE THOUGH...! His hand was bitten and she needed to make sure it was okay, especially because she wasn't sure if he was at risk of getting poisoned or some sort of god awful infection. There was no telling what secrets these freaky fish monsters biology held. Though part of her was really curious to find out if they were viable for sushi, or if it was like a botched fugu sushi out the gate...bleghhh...! Maybe she didn't want any of that potential smoke...after all, she intentionally stayed away from fugu like a vampire fearing garlic! Squinting as she inspected his hand, she noticed it...was definitely no where near as bad as it could be.....pheeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, okay! "We'll try to find somethin' to treat it just in case..." Thankfully, there would be first aid kits within buildings or something, but she let go of his hand with a sigh of relief and crossed her arms, rapidly tapping her elbow, "Well ya know what, I couldn't tell ya, might be some weird ass experimental shit that got dumped in the water...or the result of a quirk to mutate sea life?" Those seemed like the top two viable reasons, even if the conspiracy theories were inspired by sci-fi stories. When he told her behind her, she wheeeeeeezed out, "They're behind me, aren't they...?" Turning her head, she let out a yelp and...even the tentacle fish came FLYING at her and smacked her square in the forehead before bounced off like it bonked a bouncy castle! Staggering backward and shuffling her feet to catch her balance, she squinted SO HARD at these fishy monsters...HOW DARE! Rubbing her forehead before turning her attention back to her newly found homie and skated after him with a grooooaan, "Bruuuuuuuuuh! Whatever mad scientist or power hungry jerkface is behind this is gonna get a free knuckle sandwich if I ever find em'!"People in positions of powers doing messed up stuff ALWAYS rubbed her the wrong way! Shaking her fist in the air for a lil emphasis on her last statement, she lowered her body while leaning forward to increase her speed a little. "A-anyway, ya got a plan?" Rummaging through her bag, she pulled out a gear...she might need her tools, so she didn't want to use those as ammo just yet, but she wanted to see where this guy was gonna go. A little plan bubbling in her head that she could try setting off a car alarm or something...maybe they were like zombies in video games and movies...she'd test that theory in a bit....perhaps...maybe! solaris 🌞

Robert scratched the back of his head nervously, a sheepish grin on his face. "Well, honestly, I got no plan. I didn't even expect to be here today, let alone dealing with mutant fish monsters," he admitted, his amazement at the current situation evident in his voice. As they hurriedly made their way through the chaotic scene, Robert continued, "I mean, I'm amazed I got this far without being turned into fish food. But hey, we need to think fast because, uh, they're multiplying or something." He was usually the type to think on his feet, but this was an entirely new level of chaos. His gaze shifted from the emerging creatures to Jaida, realizing that they were both caught in an escalating situation with no clear way out. He glanced around, realizing the severity of the situation. The fish creatures were emerging in greater numbers, and there was no clear strategy in sight. "How about... we run? Like, really fast? Just make a run for it and scream like headless chickens? I don't know, it's the best I got right now," Robert suggested with a half-smile, acknowledging the absurdity of the plan. Without waiting for a response, he took off in a sprint, urging Jaida to follow. The urgency of the situation had escalated, and sometimes the best course of action was simply to get as far away as possible. "AAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Robert let out a spontaneous scream as he ran, hoping that the sheer chaos of the situation would somehow work in their favour. Without waiting for a response, he gestured toward a nearby alley. "That way! Let's just... Try to get out of here!!" With a nervous chuckle, he took off, hoping that perhaps a swift escape might be their best chance at survival in the face of the inexplicable threat.

sling shot WEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL...........it looks not having a plan was something they had in common! OH BOY HOWDY! "Heh! Fair, fair!" After all, she was originally out here to take care of some repair work nonsense that got cancelled for...well...YA KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOW....! Big ol' freaky fishies who may or may not make for good sushi! Normally, she was just into eating desserts and throwing some protein powder into a carton of ice cream as a meal....but something about being surrounded by these monstrous fish were making her tummy want to have the rumblies that only sushi could understand. Maybe.... ...maybe today was the day that marked her having a normal diet...? NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Though when he mentioned they might be multiplying, part of her couldn't help but wonder of bonking those suckers triggered the freaky fish to become god's strongest mathematicians... "Hrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm...." ...deeeeeeeeefinitely some food for thought! FISH FOOD, EVEN! Whiiiiiiiich is totally what they're gonna become if they aren't careful...though she was admittedly more worried for him than herself. "W-wuh...? Y--" There it was.... ...the plan was already in motion... Shrugging to herself for a moment, that's when she started flailing her arms and figured ya know what? Why the heckadoodle not?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA--"Some of the funky fish, namely the ones who looked like something fresh out of a sci-fi horror film from the 80's seemed to be completely and utterly baffled by the display, the red head going out of her way to scramble around like absolutely crazy! Taking in a deeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath before letting out a wheeze, kicking off the ground and tumbling on in to the alley way, skidding across the floor with a squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeek. Her head lightly bonked a trash bin which she used to get back up to her feet. The top fumbled off and there was a cute lil fish that peeked up from the bin, eyes so large that it looked like someone intentionally designed it to be a chibi gold fish. "...awwwwhhh..." ....but its scales were starting to ruffle and contort. Quickly scrambling the lid back on top, she skated after her buddy, trying to keep up, "DUDE UHHHH....we might not be alone there was a--" A bunch of reflective eyes glimmered around them...gurgles burbling here and there... ....why did she leave her weapons at home? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?! solaris 🌞
