TAG - Freja HeltNOTES - A suspiciously safe area with these fish creatures co-existing with humans...? HM...! P.S, the attire today!
Yoshimitsu had a grand total of no leads...
...everything felt hopeless.
Everything.
Yet, his brother would keep trying, the ambition to get an answer was an admirable one...even when his own hope was dwindling. After all, this man was perpetually plagued by the thought of what if I never see him again. It was daunting to know someone went missing when it felt like he and his brother...well...brothers, were the only ones really paying any mind to it all. Kenji was a quirkless boy born into a family who was obsessed with quirk superiority...whereas he lived on the other side of the coin where a good portion of his family found quirks to be nothing more than a stain upon humanity.
It made him feel like he shouldn't have been born at all, really...or to have simply died in the hospital on that fateful day rather than being saved by his other three brothers as a whole.
...yet there were many fragments of him that were grateful for his own life and knowing his other three brothers somehow survived, even if two of them existed only as floating skulls slowly developing themselves. Plus...he got to meet Olivia, the one who was supposed to fill in his shoes as the eldest Favager after he was given up. There was truly a vicious cycle of love and hate when it came to his own quirk, let alone quirks in general. Yet, when it came to Olivia? His little sister was a beacon of hope in this world and he wanted to share that with everyone while rubbing it in his family's faces.
They could have their money back for whatever they put into Olivia's U.A.U funding, he was taking care of her now and he wouldn't let them have so much as a shred of her success. He and the brothers sharing their body were going to make sure they did all within their power to have her flourish in such a way that their parents wished they were better people.
More importantly...
....better to all of them.
It was too late for them, though...he knew their were irredeemable pieces of scum...so all he could do was attempt to make them suffer as much as possible. Mentally and hopefully that strain would translate into a physical sense...if he was lucky, they'd both have heart attacks out of shock that their quirker of a daughter could be successful without them. They detached themselves from him and the one who raised him for an abundance of years...Elouan was the black sheep who lost all support the moment he thought quirkers deserved a proper, genuine place in the world.
The Favager family was nothing more than a candied apple with a rotten core.
One many didn't know about unless they were born into it.
Either way...today was a day he planned on going out himself to seek out Kenji.
There were reports of Tokyo Bay being less than safe right now, but much like his brother Yoshimitsu, that wasn't going to stop him. See, his brother headed out here before and during one of their exchanges...he mentioned a few interesting things. That got his own mind going...wondering if maybe Kenji was thrown out here to be disposed of. The Murano family were certainly the sorts he wouldn't dismiss such an option...
...especially here.
There were rumors floating around that a place existed within the chaos which was peaceful, much like paying for extra protection in a dangerous area. Something he was learning all the more about than before thanks to Yoshimitsu actually getting around more often to live his own life. Which...he was happy for, even if it meant having to reschedule some meetings. There was nothing wrong with his brother enjoying life outside of helping him look for Kenji, especially because his brother was so much more to him than just a mere tool to take care of dirty work...he was one of the few bits of family he had left worth caring for.
Honestly, it took some work to find the cluster of rumored buildings, but he figured there was a very good chance Kenji was brought here and perhaps even placed on the menu. There were a lot of strange fish creatures walking around and about...the roads flooded enough to allow someone to lay down to be fully submerged in water. There were a few more or less normal people here...but something about them didn't seem quite right. An angler fish who had enough humanoid features to be bi-pedal was out in the street holding up flyers, wearing large sunglasses as she was waiting for the sun to go down further, "Come, come! Visit the Twilight Cafe! Cuisine from the depths fused with the heart of Nippon we've grown to love!"
Excited, friendly and so full of life....it was the polar opposite of how she appeared.
Even the warmth in her tone struck the wrong chords and...he couldn't shake the feeling of unease. Especially when she approached him with a toothy grin and handed him a flyer, "OH! A HUMAN! HELLO! I think you'll absolutely love my cafe!" Although it felt like every cautionary fiber of his being was screaming that he shouldn't...the sight of a similar hair style to the very one he'd been looking for was barely visible at the corner of a window accented with colorful coral...! "It would be my pleasure, miss..." Offering a thoughtful smile, he...he hoped he would find Kenji in there. "Ooooooooooh! You won't be let down! The menu's to die for!"
Though the angler fish woman was quickly distracted and saw another person who looked very much like a normal human should, waving excitedly towards her. "You too, miss! I got one table left open!"
...wait...he didn't really want to dine with someone. Honestly, he hardly enjoyed company meetings because people made him uneasy...but he had to get in there and see if it was Kenji or not. So he kept up appearances with a gentle smile, turning towards the one who was invited to join him, "Giving critique on a new type of fusion cuisine could be interesting...don't you think?" Then again...Elouan always hoped the sons sharing a body he took under his wing would learn to grow, flourish and truly live life.
...if Yoshimitsu could live while searching for someone who meant the world to him....maybe he could learn how as well.

She had been here for a while now, ever since this whole ocean life coming up from the depths thing started. She had run for her life, hid, fought back and now she was walking along the street with her bat, still on edge. How could she not be? Compared to most other people she was defenseless without her weapon. The life of being quirkless was a tough one... If only she could have inherited old Freja's fire quirk, maybe she would be a better hero student too. She jumped a bit when the anglerfish woman approached her, torn from her daydreaming as she took the flyer. ''H-Huh? Table? Thank you.'' She smiled nervously, glancing down at the flyer then back at the woman. She needed to pay better attention or someone much scarier could have ambushed her. Now that she thought about it, when was the last time she ate? ''Sure..'' She looked over at the guy as he approached. His smile put her at ease, although she had no clue who he was. Part of her wanted to ask him where he got his jacket. ''What's a fusion cuisine?'' Was she supposed to know? Hopefully this wasn't some embarrassing thing she should have learned by now. ''I am getting pretty hungry. It's been a long day.'' She reached one hand out in a handshake towards him. ''I'm Freja.'' A name that wasn't hers, but she used it anyways. It wasn't like the circumstances of her existence were easy to describe, otherwise she would lead with. 'I'm actually the product of a quirk, which fused the consciousnesses and memories of two dying twins into one.' ''What's your name?''King of Hearts

TAG - Freja HeltNOTES - ...Molly the angler fish lady, potential collector of bats.
Before he could so much as answer, the overly eager restaurant owner spoke over the soft spoken blonde, "OH! So glad ya asked, lass! It's a mix of cuisines!" The corner of his mouth lightly twitched as a fragment of his mind toyed with the thought of sicking his brother on this rude woman. Perhaps it was the fact she was a fish mutant was pushing his mood within to foul territory...especially after how many mutated fish were happily mutilating others. Bringing his hand up to brush his hair in place since he could feel the strands getting themselves a little disoriented...
"...yes, that covers it at a surface level...there's more to it than that." A soft sigh escaped him as he kept his focus as best as he could. Trying to provide the girl who introduced herself as Freja a respectable amount of focus...it seemed to have a rough day and he could take an educated guess based on the bat within her grasp. He got incredibly lucky in comparison...
The angler fish woman happily pranced towards the Twilight Cafe, before following the fish he didn't trust as far as he could probably throw her, he narrowed his eyes slightly for just a moment...blinking a couple of times before turning his icy blue gaze towards the silvery haired woman. The smile across his lips seemed warm on the surface...yet something felt a bit cold when it came towards his thoughtful tone, "Beaumont...it's a pleasure to meet you." Furrowing his brows ever so slightly...it bothered him that he hadn't seen a single soul drift out of the establishment they were about to enter.
Being in the hotel industry all his life, observing eateries of all kinds...there were always a person or two who would drift out, even during short waits such as this. "...despite the circumstances, of course..." The smile across his lips became riddled with an air of uncertainty as he started to follow the angler fish woman...when the two entered the building, he was immensely disappointed to see that Kenji was no where in sight. Feeling his heart sink, it only got worse when the angler fish woman with the brightest smile ever seated them, their menus being placed upon the table... "By the waaaaaaaaay, name's Molly, I'll be yer waitress~!"
...her gaze upon the young woman's bat.
Then those large, reflective eyes locked upon Freya's own, "Oh~! We can put that thing on the side for you while yer here!" Beaumont couldn't help but quietly gulp at the air...he looked to Freja and subtly shook his head as in no....they...they might need that. Although he wasn't one for violence like Yoshimitsu, he certainly wasn't going to stand idly by and allow harm to come to himself or Freja if he could stop it. Molly tilted her head and the little bulb upon her head wiggled gently with a soft chime...
Would Freja take his advice or hand over her weapon for safe keeping...?

''Really?'' She tried her best to mask her fear, but this fish lady was giving her the creeps! ''I've never tried that before.'' What's the worst that could happen if she came with, the sea monsters were going to turn her into lunch? Being that she was a hero student, her mind went out to the civilians in the area and the odds were other people might be in danger near this establishment, or directly fall into this trap, if it even was a trap. If she didn't go she would most likely regret it later, even if it put her in danger. Besides, she had this... This mysterious guy with her too, who was he anyway? Knowledgeable about fusion dishes from the sound of it, but there was something more to him, she was sure of it. ''Beaumont?'' She smiled, ''that's very distinct. I've never met a Beaumont before.'' Otherwise she would have remembered with a name that unique-sounding. ''..Yeah.'' She agreed with a nervous smirk. Despite the circumstances indeed. Beaumont seemed friendly enough, at least from their quick interaction. He might have something more going on, but he could also just be stressed out due to, well, everything that had transpired here lately. She was about to take her seat and get comfortable when she noticed Molly looking at her bat. ''Um..'' She glanced over very briefly and saw Beaumont shaking his head, validating her own suspicions about this whole thing. ''Th-That's okay, I'll just keep it here next to my chair. I uh, I actually need it to move around, it's for my disability..'' She cringed a little bit at herself for making up such a horrible lie, but she really didn't want to be separated from her bat. If worst came to worst, she would be absolutely helpless if they needed to fight, being that she was quirkless. Then what? Was she supposed to rely on Beaumont, the guy she met like five minutes ago to fight for the both of them? ''I hope it isn't an inconvenience. I really need it here next to my chair.'' She smiled at Molly apologetically. Was Beaumont on to something? She had to try and ask him as soon as Molly left them alone. King of Hearts
