Lian typically tries to keep others from discovering their true potential. Unless driven towards it in a serious situation, their demeanor is happy-go-lucky and a little bit ditzy, though truly that's because they don't want to show others their true potential and then discover it wasn't enough. During the day to day, they're unperturbed by the little things, a go-with-the-flow kind of individual, happy to help. Lian is just an average 5'5" tall student, choosing to wear the male student top with a skirt when required to wear uniform. With cheerful brown eyes and shockingly pink and fluffy hair, the student can be noted in most crowds. Their skin is one of the things that changes the most. While normally a pale hue, with their quirk active, their whole body changes into a translucent form, color depending on what facet of the quirk is active at the current time. Their demeanor is typically with a smile, while their big brown eyes are always keeping track of exactly what's going on, even if their other body language suggests otherwise.

A transformation quirk is always a startling sight for any parent, and it was no different for Mr. and Mrs. Morishita, a couple that met over their shared jobs working for the japanese government. Lian started showing signs of their quirk at birth, their body squishy and bouncy in ways that even an infant shouldn't be, then solid as normal moments later. They were, of course, immediately registered in the Quirk Registration System, though the full scope of this power wouldn't show itself until Lian's teenage years. Upon entering middle school, the young student was beginning their rebellious phase and started to try and act aggressive and pick fights at school, which led to many a phone call home and quite a few suspensions until Lian was put up against a boy who was dragging their name through the mud. They activated the purple slime on accident as they threw a punch, and unfortunately that boy ended up in the hospital.







This ended Lian's violent phase. Taking the rest of her younger years to come to terms with her quirk and the power it held, Lian decided that they were going to become a hero and help people with their abilities, rather than hurt the innocent anymore. The interview process was... rough for the prospective student, but their parents positions in the government allowed them to pull enough strings to let them get a full display of the budding promise of Lian's quirk. The rest was all an acceptance letter away, and the new student at UA is thanking their lucky stars that they got this far, unwilling to let this opportunity go to waste.

Lian has a custom paintbrush their parents had made for them on their 16th birthday that reads 'RISING STAR' on the side of it. It's always in their pocket or bag, and though Lian is a painter, they have never once used that brush, and have no plans to. They also have a notepad that they use to write down important information when they think nobody's around to watch them.
