Not only does she have one of the most impressive RBFs around, but she has very prominent vulpine features.  She's a pale-skinned, dark-haired menace, whose pent-up rage and fury is enhanced by her striking red eyes and accents in her hair and fur.  Nadeshiko could be considered attractive, especially to those who like fierce girls who are ready and willing to step on them. Her heart-shaped face hosts elegant and sharp features, including her predatory eyes and sharp teeth. It is rare that she does not wear a scowl. Nadeshiko keeps most of her hair long, pulled back, and secured by a ribbon at the nape of her neck. However, her bangs are kept short with her fringe hair a bit longer. She wears a single braid on the left side of her face hidden among the loose strands. Atop her head are a pair of fully-functional vulpine ears. Despite having those ears, she has normal human ones, too. Though they do not provide her any large boost to her senses, she does have keen awareness. Nadeshiko is a fairly tall young lady, especially for a woman of Asian descent. Aside from being tall, she is also notably slender. Years of extreme athletic output and fine-tuning her musculature has resulted in a girl with little in the way of excess body fat, plenty of muscle toning, and impressive strength. However, she is not a body-builder, so she has never endeavored to bulk up, instead remaining trim and lean. Despite being so lithe, Nadeshiko possesses rather large breasts with sit in juxtaposition with the rest of her, yet do not look out of place on her. She has slender shoulders and hips, with an even slimmer, flat and toned belly. Nadeshiko has long, lithe legs which can deliver a powerful kick, and culminate in a lovely backside generally hidden by an even lovelier tail. Large, fluffy, and unbelievably soft, it is practically a crime to allow such a wonderful tail to reside with someone who is so unlikely to share. As for clothing, Nadeshiko is not a shy girl. She seems to possess no sense of shame, no nervousness or reservations about showing herself off, and maybe even pride in displaying what she has worked to attain over the years. That being said, her wardrobe consists of an overwhelming quantity of crop-tops, with tight-fit halter-styles being her go-to. Nadeshiko also wears a ton of short shorts, equally tight, and almost always has the straps of her undergarments pulled high onto her hips in a bold fashion statement. Nadeshiko will sometimes replace her shorts with an equally short skirt and though she could wear something like spats, she chooses regular cut undergarments. She's very consistent with her outfits, and has a coat that she wears while 'off-duty'. As with the rest of her, what she wears generally turns out to be black and red. The only major detractor from her day-to-day outfits is her hero outfit, which has a little better coverage. Though these two things are not the entirety of who Nadeshiko is, they do set the stage and provide an extremely difficult barrier to break through before someone can experience the rest of who she is. Her anger is not without justification. She has experienced a great deal in her fairly short life, and little of it has been in her favor. At a young age, her quirk made her a murderer, earning her the ostracization of her peers and the hatred of the adults around her. Nadeshiko also lost her parents, two of the only people that supported her, to villains when she was still a youth. Later on, after becoming an apprentice hero, her master was killed by his own sidekick after uncovering a dark plot, cementing Nadeshiko's view that all heroes will inevitably fall to their own dark desires and become villains, even if society does not see through their mask. Fortunately, there is more to Nadeshiko than her rage and nihilism. The girl she could have been had she lived a normal life is still under there, fighting to break free of the oppression and have a chance to express herself. In truth, Nadeshiko would love nothing more than to just let herself be who she was meant to be, but she 'knows' she is tainted by her dark past, and so she struggles with the internal fight. She seeks to improve herself, but beyond just herself, Nadeshiko hopes to better society. She had once believed she could be a hero to redeem herself, but has since realized that is no longer her fate. She seeks to join the Hero Public Safety Commission to bring rogue heroes to justice so that what happened to her master does not happen again, or at least, those who commit such crimes and harbor darkness within do not cause others to suffer as she did.  Thus, Nadeshiko claims she will kill all heroes, even if she only has interest in those who have fallen from the righteous path. They are villains in disguise, and she intends to rid society of them when and where she can, but it also causes her to view all heroes, even her peers at the academy, with suspicion. Her nihilistic view that all heroes are just villains who haven't realized it yet serves as a strong counterpoint to her intense sense of loyalty.  To those who are her friends, even heroes, she is very loyal and will put herself on the line for them. However, she still realizes that even her friends could become enemies someday, but fortunately, it does not impede her.  Nadeshiko wants to be a good friend and a good person. So, those who take the time to get around her prickly exterior can find someone who is rather sweet in her own ways. Someone who can be kind, generous, and likes to have fun. Who likes cute and pretty things even if she denies it with a passion, who can cook like a master chef, and someone who likes to kick back and relax, especially at a hot spring or beach. Nadeshiko is a complicated individual who pushes herself to the limits on a daily basis, hides who she really is, and is ready to establish herself as a true defender of justice in an attempt to avenge those who have been wronged and someday, hopefully, redeem herself in her own mind. Because of her heritage, Nadeshiko was basically guaranteed a quirk of her own, and her elder sister, Mieko, had one, too. Like her sister, she inherited her mother's vulpine appearance, but seemed to lack anything else associated with her quirk. However, she did not give up hope that, someday, she would be special. Perhaps she should have been content with what she had. Everything was great. Nadeshiko was a mostly normal young girl, she went to school, pursued hobbies, had a few friends, and generally enjoyed life. However, as great as it was, life wasn't perfect. Nadeshiko was on the receiving end of some bullying. It could have been anyone, anyone else, too. Nadeshiko looked a bit different, but there were others who looked even more bizarre than her. They chose to bully her for a reason, and whatever that reason was eluded her. It eventually culminated in a very serious problem. One day, Nadeshiko was cornered by the trio of bullies who had isolated her from everyone who might have helped by intervening on her behalf and began to tease and torment her. It did not take long before it turned physical and they pushed her to the ground. There, Nadeshiko found herself pinned beneath a boy who had every intention of pummeling her with his fists, and began doing just that. She did her best to fend him off. Nadeshiko pushed at his neck, hoping to choke him or get a moment of relief, and with her other hand she tried to grab his wrist and stop him from punching her, but she was too weak. But that weakness lasted only a moment before her quirk activated. Without warning the boy's skin began disintegrating, followed by muscle and even bone. In a bloody and deadly display, Nadeshiko severed the boy's wrist and destroyed a large portion of his upper chest as his body began to erupt from crimson spikes protruding from within.  There was no saving him, and the event left all involved, especially Nadeshiko, truly horrified. She had destroyed part of the boy and what remained was barely recognizable as human, as if he had been transmogrified into some mass of crimson glass shards. The fallout from the event was horrific. Nadeshiko was inevitably cleared of guilt as she was defending herself and the activation of her quirk was unexpected and an unknown factor. However, even if the law had let her go, others did not.  Her friends abandoned her, afraid for their safety. Her peers turned against her, calling her a monster and avoiding her at all costs. The boldest among them teased and taunted her, but always from a distance, until it was almost too much for Nadeshiko to handle and she became increasingly withdrawn. Fortunately, her parents were still on her side and helped her by transferring her from the school, but it came far too late. The damage was done. Nadeshiko was terrified of her own quirk, and even years later she cannot stomach the thought of using it on another person without becoming debilitatingly nauseous.  SECOND TRAUMA: DEAREST LOSS Nadeshiko had learned something valuable. Quirks could be very, very dangerous, and hers was one of them. It was in her best interest to learn how to control it, and so she and her family set about doing just that. Together, they managed to figure out the workings of Nadeshiko's quirk and she was able to come to terms with it. The quirk was not all bad, and it did not have to be used in a bad way, like how villains used theirs.  She could be a hero like her parents. But it was time for Nadeshiko to learn another harsh truth about life, and about heroes, too. Even with powerful and deadly quirks, no one was truly invincible.  One day, her parents left for work and Nadeshiko went to school. When she returned home, there were strangers waiting for her and her sister. These people looked solemn and they had good reason to for they did not bear good news. During a small villain uprising in the area the Kamiya duo attempted to save everyone they could and suppress the villains, but in the process they were grievously injured. Her father had died before medical professionals could even begin treating him, and her mother was in a coma and not expected to last through the next day due to the severity of her injuries. The sisters were devastated, and rushed to their mother, but despite their begging and pleading, they were unable to wake her. They never had a chance to truly say goodbye, nor the chance to know if their mother even heard them. Funerals followed and so did a long period of mourning. Nadeshiko didn't know how to proceed with life, and even her sister, Mieko, was doing her best to just take everything one step at a time. If it wasn't for Mieko, Nadeshiko may have fallen and never recovered, slipping away into the darkest corners of life and society to end up a lost cause. However, Mieko stepped up and took over for their parents, and by doing so, was able to keep Nadeshiko above water long enough for her to finish high school.  During that time, Nadeshiko did not remain idle. She wanted vengeance. She channeled her anger, fear, and grief into a powerful drive and applied herself in ways she never had before. She doubled - tripled down on all of her training and excelled like never before, and in the end it paid off. She had no need to go to an official hero school, because one of her parents' associates discovered her talent and realized what potential Nadeshiko possessed, as well as the desperate need for delicate guidance she required. And so, she became an apprentice. THIRD TRAUMA: FORLORN HOPE The man who took her under his wing was a man from across the sea named Solace, a hero who stylized himself as a shaolin monk, and possessed a very calming mien. It was clear how much of an impact he had on the adrift young woman right away, as she readily devoured everything he taught her with a voracity he did not expect. By the end of the first year of her apprenticeship she had her own probationary license, and soon enough she had the opportunity to begin proving herself ready to become a full-fledged hero, but bad things come in threes, and Nadeshiko's suffering had only just begun.  Solace did not work alone, but he did not work with many other heroes. He had only two sidekicks, one of which had been acting a little strange. Solace decided he needed to check in on his associate and followed him one day, but not without Nadeshiko trailing behind him, and if he knew he didn't say anything let alone try to stop her. They went to a seedier part of town where Solace's sidekick Silverback had been lurking doing who-knew-what. It didn't take long for his dark intents to be revealed but unfortunately, Solace discovered it just a little bit too late, and to cover his tracks, Silverback ambushed Solace and killed him. Nadeshiko, who had been lurking until then, rushed to confront Silverback, and as he had done to Solace, she launched a surprise attack that put the two on relatively even footing. She demanded to know what he had killed Solace for, and the response Nadeshiko received was almost too simple to be true. He had just poked his nose in where it didn't belong. Had he refrained and kept out of things that didn't concern him, Solace could have lived. Nadeshiko was not satisfied with the answer. All of her pent up rage and fury was unleashed in the ensuing battle that tore the warehouse they were in to shreds. In the end, Silverback lay dead not far from Solace, but Nadeshiko didn't get out unscathed. She stumbled from the wreckage and into the street where she collapsed. For three weeks she recovered in the hospital and during that time she dwelled on dark thoughts. Heroes were dangerous. They could kill with a touch, they could deceive all those around them with ease because everyone innately trusted them. Unlike villains who were often easily identified and dealt with, heroes like Silverback who had turned to villainy were not. All that she had suffered through culminated at that point, and as she left the hospital Nadeshiko resolved herself. She would make all those who harbored darkness suffer and die, and if they were heroes, villains, or anyone else, then so be it. None would be safe, and in the end, she wouldn't be either, because how was she any better? She was a murderer, after all... Several months later Nadeshiko enrolled as a third year student at UAU, applying her apprentice and sidekick experience and training as credits to bypass most of the initial courses in an attempt to solidifying her training. However, unlike before when she had sought being a hero, she now had a new goal. As soon as she received her license she would join whomever held the same views as her: that heroes who strayed from the path of righteousness had to be dealt with. That was her future, and all of those who'd stand against her would face her fury. Items & equipment HERO OUTFIT(S) NAME: The Sovereign RANK: D MANUFACTURER: None DESCRIPTION: The Sovereign is Nadeshiko's hero outfit, and though it is different than her day-to-day wear, it still plays by a lot of the same rules.  Her outfit is a bulky, loose-fit coat with a sci-punk chic aesthetic in red and black, like anything else she wears. The major detractor from normal is that she wears a sort of loose-fit dress, though calling it that is a bit of a misnomer, as it doesn't cover what a dress should. Instead of covering her chest, it only barely loops over it with straps and instead Nadeshiko relies upon what looks like an athletic bikini top. It is a bold choice that might imply she has nothing to fear from attackers, or that she wants to look cool and show off - maybe both! The Sovereign is mostly just an outfit. It doesn't provide much in the way of protection, but has enough pockets to store things and is made out of easy-to-acquire materials so it is easy to mend.  WEAPONS NAME: Blade of Solace RANK: D- MANUFACTURER: None DESCRIPTION: This strange Chinese straight sword belonged to Nadeshiko's late mentor, Solace. Despite being a sword, it does not possess a cutting edge, but is dull. Though it may have had other unique or abnormal traits and abilities, it was damaged when Solace was killed and will require someone who knows what they are doing to restore it.  WEAPONS NAME: Wire Bolas RANK: D- MANUFACTURER: None DESCRIPTION: As part of her arsenal, as limited as it is, Nadeshiko carries two sets of bolas with retractable wires making them easier to store. They can be used to wrap up and secure people, and due to their all-metal construction, can even be used to restrain someone if they have been subdued.  However, they are not the strongest, so those possessing reasonable degree of strength can break free without too much trouble.  MISC ITEMS Cell Phone: Being able to stay in touch with friends, family, and comrades can be very important, but a cell phone can also help keep up with current events, so Nadeshiko keeps on with her at all times, much like anyone else. She uses mostly Sony models and is usually a model or two behind since she doesn't rush to replace them. Wallet: Identification, credit cards, and cash all fit into a wallet and are needed in most aspects of life, so keeping a wallet on hand is important. Nadeshiko doesn't keep too many cards or IDs, and only a little cash, so her wallet is very low profile. Key Chain: Nadeshiko doesn't carry many keys, buy she does decorate and personalize her key chain with things that interest her. Her Keychain can be added to a belt loop or some such so it doesn't get lost. Pocket Knife: Over the years Nadeshiko has discovered that one thing she should always carry is a pocket Knife. Therefore, she carries a multifunctional one that can fill several common roles to make it even more efficient. GPS Wrist Band: Nadeshiko wears a simple metallic wristband that contains a basic GPS so her location cab be tracked. It does have an easy access off button for going off the grid. quirk & abilities Quirk Overview QUIRK NAME: Dominion Over All Things QUIRK TYPE: Accumulation-Emitter QUIRK RANK: A QUIRK SUMMARY: Dominion Over All Things is an accumulation-emitter quirk that converts physical matter into a unique type of energy which can then be transformed into any number of forms or functions.  QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Nadeshiko's quirk allows her to convert physical matter into a unique energy source. This energy source is stored in what she calls her "reservoir". Energy that is stored can be saved and used as necessary. Alternatively, she can transform designated physical material into a new form by directly bypassing her reservoir. When using the latter method, the matter cannot be saved, it is used immediately and entirely. The energy from DOAT manifests as a bright crimson, and has similar appearance to slightly opaque glass. It can be made into any number of different things, whether rigid or flexible, such as knife-like projectiles, coiling whips, barriers, and more. How it manifests is mostly limited by her creativity and time to think.  Using her quirk is fairly simple. It requires some form of gesture in almost all cases, either to designate matter to be converted or to direct whatever she has created. She can technically emit the energy from any part of her body, but her hands are the most efficient by orders of magnitude, followed by her feet. Using the rest of her body is only useful for things such as armor or other constructs directly connected to her. Something created by DOAT will eventually turn into crimson dust. This generally happens after the designated task has been fulfilled, or a few dozen seconds has passed.  QUIRK DRAWBACKS Dominion Over All Things is a potent quirk, but not without its failings. Nadeshiko's Reservoir constantly leaks, and requires refilling regularly. Unlike the overall quirk, which can convert any physical matter, the reservoir is only refilled with calorie intake. She does this by consuming significant quantities of food. However, it is possible for her to convert something like coal, which has an incredible calorie value to rapidly fill her reservoir, but carrying chunks of coal around is less convenient than just eating a sandwich or two. While DOAT is extremely powerful against physical matter, it is not as useful against other forms of energy. Since she cannot convert energy like fire or electricity, she is forced to avoid it or hope a constructed shield can block it.  Living beings are also safe from her quirk. However, once the target is dead they are free game! ATTRIBUTES » AWARENESS (B) Nadeshiko possesses a keen level of awareness, well-above average but not pushed as far as the most prolific heroes can boast.  » SPEED (B) Due to the nature of her quirk and the influence it has over her fighting style, Nadeshiko relies upon speed more than strength or durability. » DEXTERITY (B) Being that Nadeshiko relies so little on brute strength, dexterity took priority. Whether it be using tools or dodging her enemies, she is going to rely more on her quirk to dish out damage than brute strength. » STRENGTH (C) Despite years of athletic training and the perfecting of her own body, Nadeshiko is not the strongest girl around. She does not need excess strength like some, because she relies on her quirk, instead. » DURABILITY (C+) Nadeshiko has always been a 'don't get hit' type. She utilizes speed and dexterity to avoid incoming damage, or reduces it with her quirk's shields. » VITALITY (B) Despite not being the most durable, Nadeshiko has impressive stamina and staying power and is able to keep going well beyond normal. LIMIT BREAKERS: 4 (3/45) ABILITIES ABILITY NAME: Kung-fu ABILITY RANK: B+ ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Nadeshiko is a well-trained, highly-proficient martial artist. Trained by her hero mentor, Solace, she learned the three styles of the Wudang school: Baguazhang, xingyiquan and tai chi. On the other hand, her family, predominantly her sister, taught her how to utilize karate. By combining what she knows, Nadeshiko has developed a style that flows and dances around her opponents, yet is proficient at delivering harsh blows that seem in contrast with the rest of what she does. She is definitely talented, and her potential has yet to be truly realized, so even if she is a strong contender, she can, and will, get better. The primary focus of Nadeshiko's style is to combine with her quirk which requires the direction of her hands, so many of her attacks are kicks so that she can keep her hands free and ready. She is a relentless and aggressive fighter, often working hard to keep her enemies off balance. ABILITY NAME: Weaponmaster ABILITY RANK: D+ ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Over the years, Nadeshiko has dabbled in the use of weapons as part of her martial arts training. Solace's tai chi training involved developing skills with a wide repertoire of weapon styles, including swords, staves, and even fans.  However, as a hero, wielding a weapon is often deadlier than it is beneficial, so she has shirked these duties until recently. However, Nadeshiko has not yet chosen a weapon or weapons to specialize in, and struggles to make that decision. ABILITY NAME: Marksman ABILITY RANK: D+ ABILITY DESCRIPTION: There's a level of precision that goes into marksmanship, and even if Nadeshiko never really uses a firearm or anything of the sort, it has been beneficial to learn how. However, with the loss of her mentor, she has considered upgrading to lethal weaponry in her search for vengeance. She has modest accuracy with common firearms that she practices with at a range, but also uses a few other abnormal things, such as bolas. ABILITY NAME: Lightfoot ABILITY RANK: D+ ABILITY DESCRIPTION: As a hero, it pays to be able to get around without assistance. That includes not using her quirk.
