Naomi is a quiet woman who doesn't want to bother people with her issues. She's headstrong enough that she does her best on her own, but she's done her best to not intentionally harm others with what she does. She didn't have a proper education having been a runaway, and her unwilling criminal activity has left her with even fewer options available to her. She has never experienced a permanent home and it is her most heartfelt wish to have a proper family or something close to one and to not worry anymore about the next place she'll sleep. She's a bit naive and wants to trust others, but she'll seem to find some excuse to become mistrustful just as quickly.

She has long black hair, her skin is a pale white, and her eyes are a deep dark evergreen. Naomi has never had a permanent home or felt like she’s had a real family before. Her parents had passed away in a car accident when she was still a baby. She’d been adopted not long after, but that first family had an ulterior motive. When she turned 5 years old they were adamant about figuring out her quirk, yet it appeared she was quirkless. This she was abandoned and put up for adoption once more. This affected her immensely, she became very reclusive and shy never wanting to get close to anyone again and be another disappointment for them. From there that shyness and anxiety stayed, she was in and and out foster care facilities due to various reason. She was so desperately alone and tried her best to not be a bother to anyone hoping one day for just a permanent bed.
During her early teen years she was put into a verbally and sometimes physically abusive foster home. There was a particularly nasty altercation between herself and the foster parent that caused her quirk to finally manifest. She became this ugly, grotesque monstrosity and was even able to hold back from lashing out too badly with her quirk. However with all of the combined emotions and fear she was attacked and riven out of the house, kicked out and threatened with police involvement which they were called anyway.
With nothing to her name she ran away trying to make sense of her late blooming quirk. She was then taken advantage of by various small time gangs who used her as a cheap distraction. They would threaten her and cause her to start having a panic attack, which then caused her quirk to fully activate. They got wise in how it worked, and would purposefully use her fear inducing quirk so they could commit whatever crimes they needed while leaving her out to dry. But even then she was clever and was able to escape from the police at every turn by using her quirk to fit into narrow spaces and escaping.
She’s gotten a handle on we quirk after these several years. She’s a run away, homeless, unwilling criminal and potential villain in the eyes of the law. She just wanted a normal life, but she felt that it would be near impossible to do if she was caught by the police at this point. Naomi was aimless and didn’t even know what to do with herself. She just knew she couldn’t trust anyone, and no one has ever had her back. QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Naomi’s quirk has given her in her normal form aesthetic mutant-like features that are quite noticeable. The quirk's actual power allows her to partially and fully transform her body into an amorphous mass of dark flesh that she can manipulate, grow, shrink, and shape as she sees fit. It has innumerable and various kinds of eyes, bones, claws, spikes, mouths, and tentacles, while also oozing various colored fluids, it is rather grotesque imagery. When fully transformed, her body releases spores making an ‘aura’ that causes fear and madness to infect weaker minded beings.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: The infected intuitively know that she is the source of the madness and fear. The spores can be mitigated by using air filtering devices, using fire to clear the air, or even simply not breathe. Similar to tinnitus, Naomi suffers from random incoherent whispers that if unchecked could cause unconscious quirk use. Purely and specifically light based attacks and effects weaken and burn her for double the damage while transformed, along with her being generally weaker/lethargic in direct sunlight.
