Today was by no means meant to be easy, but Shoji pulled off what he felt was a good grab. Some girl wearing jogging pants and a black tanktop was just casually walking along, flipping through something on her phone, and figuring his legs were mutated to have an advantage he thought he could easily outrun this girl. That was mistake number one. Mistake number two was not realizing she could fling hammers that came out of thin air at him. The chase had gone on for about five minutes. He was best able to sprint for at best fifty seven seconds (he timed himself). He was running on fumes, and he was more terrified of what she might do to him if he was caught. Stumbling out of a bush, he saw his salvation in the form of some tall guy with white hair. Running up to him, he held the phone up. "Hey! You gotta help me, I don't have much time, she's going to kill me if she catches me! Take this, it's not worth my life, good luck!" And with the phone shoved into the guy's hand he turned and bolted back into the bush, trying to make a hasty retreat. Not two seconds after Shoji vanished a familiar redhead appeared from the path above, skidding to a halt as she scanned her surroundings, eyes settling on Aiko. "Where'd he go?!" Unlike the last time he saw Jun, there was a fury in her eyes, her chest moving up and down as her lungs worked overtime to compensate for the exertion she just put herself in. "Okay, see you later!" He would wave back into his store as moved out of it at the end of his shift. Honestly, his work had been giving him some stupid shifts that it was making it hard to have a life outside of work. Even if he made plans with people there was no consistency with the days that he worked or the times, which made it hard for him to want to do anything but go home and sleep after work.

With a bit of a yawn, he would absent-mindedly walk only for a distressed man to come up to him. "What, I'm not holding your shi-" before he could even protest, the phone was placed in his hands and he was left to just stand there in disbelief. Looking down to the phone, he wasn't able to tell who's it was. Looking up again though, a red ball of fury came towards him, albeit a short one. "Oh, the strawberry girl, sup?" He'd cross his arms, smiling down to her. "Where'd who go? That shitbag your boyfriend or something. To be honest, I feel like you could do better. Maybe you're with him for his legs or something but he seemed... I dunno, weak." A shrug, as if he knew he could do better. "If you fought or something, he's obviously scared of you- with how you look right now, I would be too. Anger doesn't look good on you, babes."

On one hand, she was flustered. On the other, she really wanted to hit him, but something in her head clicked in a manner that if she made any kind of effort to, she'd lose. Was he...flirting with her?! The moment he revealed her phone part of her face relaxed. "Wait, how do you-?" she stepped forward to take it, only to have it dangled out of reach. With how Jun was talking, it was obvious that she had no clue what he meant; to him, that was just so adorable. She probably hadn't had a conversation like this in a long time, if ever. She wasn't ugly, but the way that she dressed wasn't really giving that she wanted to be bothered and pursued. If only she just made more effort with her most important parts, she'd be a bombshell.

"Ah, I have some ideas. Maybe we could go to eat something to eat, then get ice cream and walk through the park? If you're feeling like you like me, you can come back with me to my place." He'd keep a neutral expression, wanting to see if she was even considering a request like that. It was a wild one, and one that most people would be skeptical to accept something like that. That wasn't something that was important enough to fight her over, not at all. With things going smoothly, he realized that it was a start in the right direction. She was hot, she said yes, and they were going on a date. In Aiko's eyes, things were going in the right direction.

"Hm, I know a good ramen shop if you're up for that. I don't mind sharing something with you if you want to try it." Aiko was a giving person, only when he wanted to be. Getting a girl to like him? Yaoyao had been trying (and failing) to make her understand that for the longest time, and because of Jun's own anxiety she was not willing to put forth the effort to see if that wasn't true. At least, until today. The air on her ear made her flinch, and she pulled away a little, feeling a bit too small and vulnerable. She didn't believe him, not at first. That liberal term of 'fuck' only made her think that maybe, just maybe, it meant something. Something heinous. Like that thing Yaoyao wants to talk about, but Jun refused to listen. Maybe she should have listened... Regardless, she looked at his hand, and she did feel a bit excited to try something like this. However, there was one other obstacle holding her back: her crippling anxiety. She hated being touched, and this moment was no exception. Even if she initiated it. "I...don't do touch well..." she says, looking at his hand. It was an opportunity...and the underlying threat he had was a challenge. And if she were right it'd prove Yaoyao wrong once and for all. "Gestation is nine months, there would be no visible sign. But...you're going to have to lead, because I'm going to become useless." This was stupid, and reckless. But she had done plenty of those things before. Taking the leap, she took his hand. Only it wasn't the pleasant experience both could have wanted. Jun almost immediately shut down, the conscious side of her brain doing everything in its power to keep her up and mobile. Meanwhile, the demon that lived inside her caused every part of her body to tense up, including every muscle in her arm.
