Chīaki's a rather brave and adventurous young woman, especially considering her size. Gung ho, straight forward, and a ray of sunshine with absolute cheer and bravado backing her up, she can come off as a little headstrong. However, it isn't that she so much as refuses to listen to others, rather that she tends to race off on the first course of action before anyone really has a chance to correct her.[break][break]

Though, she can be somewhat mischievous, even spiteful. Willing to die on a silly hill, and get back at those that irk her in some childishly petty manner, though never in a manner that'd hurt them, usually childish minor inconveniences.[break][break]

Chīaki nonetheless, has a strong sense of justice, only rivalled by her sense of humour. She usually can't help but put herself between people when conflicts occur, whether to defuse them or to protect the wronged. As she puts it, she fights for the little guys, and usually declares that people should pick on someone their own size.[break][break]

Despite her size, Chīaki has a penchant love for animals, not particularly minding the fact that most would quite literally use her as a chew toy, she very much enjoys the company of animals, to the point that she'll actively utilise her quirk to be at a more comfortable size to spend time with them. In particular, her pet rabbit, [i]Mochi[/i].[break][break]

Bugs however, are 100% nightmare fuel. Beetles are cool though.[/div]

[div][attr="class","sectdesc"]Standing at a positively intimidating and domineering inch tall, Chīaki's most noticeable trait is her stature.[break][break]

Chīaki sports soft, plum hair worn short. With ruby red eyes, she's rather endearing with her eagerness and chipper smile. Given her size, Chīaki's clothes are most typically those crafted by hina doll makers, and thus very traditional Japanese in style. Though she has the odd articles of clothing for more casual wear, they're rather far and few in between unfortunately.[break][break]

She tends to carry around a sewing needle for the purpose of personal defense in a small world, alongside a pair of ceramic bowls she utilises as effectively armour.[break][break]

Much to her chagrin, she has a slight bit of trouble with mediating nutritional gains due to just how small she is, serving portions are a tad difficult to manage, and she tends to gain weight rather easily, ending up a little baby-faced due to this.[/div]

[div][attr="class","sectdesc"]Chīaki's birth itself was fairly normal, born to a fairly modest if not somewhat financially troubled family. However, her life had gone a somewhat different route when her quirk had manifested, the first time, resulting in a giant ordeal when she'd seemingly gone missing, and her parents had filed an entire missing persons report to the police, only to find their daughter barely even half an inch tall in her crib.[break][break]

Much of Chīaki's adolescence had been in effective isolation from the world due to her quirk, her parents in constant fear their precious daughter might go missing or the worst would happen in front of their very eyes. Though, issues began to arise when it finally came to the topic of her education. Her parents weren't the richest, simply owners of a small ramen bar in the corner of a market district. At the very least, with Chīaki's size, paying to support her hadn't been as much a burden.[break][break]

Despite... her parent's insistence, Chīaki had begun naturally being more adventurous than most, as if she was aware of just how isolated she was, she'd seemed to yearn for the outside and to satiate curiosity,

Her first major breakthrough had been about two years after her quirk had manifested, she'd strangely somehow [i]clicked[/i] and all of a sudden, she'd managed to grow bigger, dwarfing her parents by a rather towering size that had left them astonished at the time before she'd reverted back to her usual size barely even a second afterwards. The moment had been so fast that they weren't even sure if they'd made up what they saw.[break][break]

Nonetheless, as the years went by, Chīaki slowly gained better control over her quirk, and with enough assurance, had managed to start going to school, special permission given to utilise her quirk when necessary—particularly self defense from the outside world, or more menial things, such as hailing a bus or being noticed by automatic doors.[break][break]

Chīaki had overall adjusted to regular life, catching up diligently with her education, her free-spirited curiosity and adventurous nature getting her in trouble at times, but nonetheless, she'd managed to make good friends who'd help her out.[break][break]

Chīaki's sense of heroism had been fostered in a particular incident, a rather fumbled attempt to fly involving a paper plane had her crash landing in the middle of an attempted mugging. In the moment of confusion she'd (accidentally) managed to get in between the would-be mugger and their victim, and in the heat of the moment had acted to protect the victim, giving them time to escape and call the police. How she'd [i]handled[/i] the situation had been a slight issue however, utilising her quirk to grow taller, and further utilising it to grow to a greater scale to scare the mugger. While the mugger had been caught, she'd gotten into trouble for utilising her quirk beyond the permissions she'd been granted for ease of life—growing to a size beyond what was permitted—though her act of heroism hadn't gone unnoticed. Though she'd gotten off somewhat lightly, labelled partially as self-defense and unfortunate circumstances that had landed her in the scene in the first place.[break][break]

While she'd been punished, this hadn't put a damper on her sense of justice, if anything, it had fuelled her desire to become an official hero, a source of inspiration. While she'd originally planned on helping her parents with the shop, there had been some sense of euphoria and excitement about being able to help someone that had Chīaki wanting to do more. She wanted to become a hero, she wanted to do the right thing, and being officially recognised was the best way to do so in her eyes, so she set her sights on U.A. .

Chīaki has the ability to change the size of not only herself, but of objects she touches. Making them far larger or smaller in an instant, the mass of an object scaling alongside the size change as necessary.[break][break]

When it comes to herself, increasing her size has a particular issue to it that results in her typically remaining at a smaller size; the greater she grows, the more energy she expends, while maintaining the size of an average human can be held for a fair amount of time, growing to more grandiose heights usually doesn't last long due to the energy expenditure required to maintain it. While she's able to affect objects, she cannot affect other people.[/div]

A traditional Japanese ceramic bowl, decorated with gold print, comes in handy as a hat for an adventurous inchling youth, though can become quite the wall when grown far larger than its original purpose.[/div]
