With this comes a rather a odd sense of humor, a collector of odd artifacts, employing people that probably didn't meet qualifications, and generally being a massive flirt. Zane is generally a pretty pleasant person to be around if you don't mind a super blunt, always speaks her mind person. This makes her rather abrasive to those who aren't regulars at her bar. If she notices something "deficient" in someone's character, she will vocalise it. This is off putting to most people except for maybe her employees. She is also generally rude to men as they bore her. If you are a women, she tends to be very flirtatious. Most of that flirtation is surface level as she has a bit of attachment issues. Zane's attachment issues often get in her way of making meaningful connections with people do to her attachment issues. She often closes herself off when it comes to her more inner thoughts, hence why she often tries to push people away from her. The people she hires are often ways she was atoning for her past to some way or another.

Zane's early years were rather unremarkable. She grew up in Nagoya, living there until the end of her High School years. These years were marked as rather unremarkable. She had her childhood crushes. She had her heart breaks. All very normal girl stuff. Only real bothersome thing was the lack of quirk. It made her stand out. Most people she knew growing up would compare quirks. Compare how strong or weak they were. If they could become heroes or whatever else it might be. Zane, lacking a quirk, never saw that as a prospect, so she tried to focus on other avenues such corporate work. That corporate work did eventually rear its head.
After graduating High School, Zane moved to Yokohama to attend the Yokohama National University. Zane attended the university, not sure what degree she would want to get. This eventually lead her to attending degree fairs, eventually stumbling into the hands of a Hojo Corporation recruiter. They convinced them to enter the path of cybernetics. Zane, aimless at the time, entered the cybernetics program that just so happened to be sponsored by Hojo. Little did she know, it would put her down a path that she ended up regretting.
After completing college, she was hired as a Cybernetic Development Specialist. Her job, however, would not involve testing or even developing them. She was hired to find test subject. Hojo hired her to find people that wouldn't be missed. Orphans, criminals, the homeless, people that wanted to disappear, and whoever else. The initial experiments that Zane recruited for were simple ones. Cybernetic eyes, cybernetic hands, nerve enhancers, or other little benign enhancements. To make it more appealing for the test subjects, Zane started getting implants. These implants were later used by Zane to make it easier to capture experiment subjects.
Eventually, as Zane got better at her job, Hojo started trusting her with more invasive experiments. Around this time, Zane started getting second doubts about what she was doing. She started noticing people she would convince to join a cybernetic trials would not leave the Hojo facilities. This especially struck her when she recruited a blind homeless teenager with promises of curing them and getting them a job. This was not the case. The girl became a cyber psycho (psychosis induced by cybernetics) and was let lose in a area where criminal activity was occurring. It lead to several deaths, including the girl. Zane was shocked by the incident. This incident eventually led to Zane resigning.
After resigning, Zane had little prospects in life. While she had saved some money, there wasn't much to her name. Stumbling around a few odds jobs here and there, Zane eventually stumbled int the Stingray. A run down bar that no one really went to. The owner was a on death's bed and had no plans for the bar. Zane, with no prospects in life, took a gamble and asked to take over the bar. After some convincing and some drinks, the original owner relented and left the bar to Zane.
After the owner died, Zane took over the bar. It was a huge undertaking, Zane closed the bar for a couple months, doing net running jobs and a occasional Hojo contract work, improving aspects of the bar. Using her recruiting skills, Zane would hire people that she would have recruited for her old Hojo job. She wanted to make good and give actual second chances to people. It created the hub for vigilantes, offering information for those who wanted to do good for the world or do good in their world. Whatever it meant for the customers of her bar.
