Core Desire:
To be virtuous and seek improvement in myself and the world.
Fear:
What I fear most — the thing that keeps me tossing and turning — is the thought of becoming my father. The things he has done for what he believes in terrify me.
Ideals:
A better world lies beyond the horizon — a world where we take the time to understand one another, a world guided by morals, integrity, and accountability.
False Belief:
If I am not good, if I cannot protect the people I love and the community I live in, then I am nothing.
Solution:
I'm imperfect. It's a delusion to think I can change that irrefutable fact. I should accept my flaws and mistakes; after all, pursuing perfection is, in itself, a paradox. If perfection were attainable, it'd mark the end of personal growth. To stop growing is to die. Still, I find myself in endless pursuit.

INJUSTICE - CONFORMITY - DISTRACTION - LOUD NOISES
ORIGIN
A son bears the father's sins.
More than most, I carried this burden. I led a rebellion fueled by equal parts moral righteousness and teenage angst against him and his empire before being shipped off to America. If I had been stronger, I could have stopped him; I could have shown him the error of his ways. But his eyes saw the heavens, a sight I would never be privy to. I was tethered to the Earth — my tail a grim reminder that he was of the sky, and I, of the trees. Still, I forged a life in the concrete jungle, a life where I made a difference.
It began with a friend. Then a few more. Together, we created a hero agency we could barely keep afloat. Some married. Some died.
The rest retired.
Make no mistake: I was, I am, and I always will be my father's son. I use his means for my ends — his code, the sacred wisdom he passed down to me when I was more than his child; I was his successor. The inheritor of a criminal empire, a multi-generational war against some inevitable, unfathomable other that kept him from peace, from sleep, from us. All I knew — all I had — was my conviction.
The last time I saw him was at my mother’s funeral.
He was different.
But I wouldn’t realize it until years later, when news of his death found me overlooking the Manhattan skyline. I learned of his journey, his regrets. More importantly, I learned of a boy he treated like a son — a boy who earned his eyes.
As if that weren’t enough, I was called by my nephew — all I had left of my two closest friends, both of whom lost their lives in this very city. His grandmother passed. I booked a flight to Japan to help a grieving child mourn the last of his family, and instead, found myself mourning the last of mine.

MARTIAL ARTS B
My body may be a weapon, but strength alone is never enough. You must be wise, cunning, and, most important of all, you must be of sound character. Feed your body diverse foods, your mind diverse perspectives, and your soul diverse experiences.
JIN&JUICE D -
A smoothie shop I started early in my career that carries an assortment of non-alcoholic specialty drinks. The income helped subsidize my hero agency before it closed down. But now, it's a few extra bucks in my pocket and a much needed financial safety net.
INHERITANCE D -
A criminal empire waiting for me in the heart of Shinjuku. They care only for the blood I share with my late father and the various ways they can spill it.

MUT. — EMIT. | (A)
tl;dr a monkey tail that negates quirks
𝔸𝕌ℝ𝔸𝕊𝕌ℝ𝔼
(pronounced: /ɔːrˈeɪʃər/)
» Jin's tail creates a red aura that deactivates the quirk factor of anyone within range. They cannot activate their quirk nor maintain any ongoing effects.
» Mutations don't lose their form, but they do lose their function. Steel skin turns brittle, leg-engines stall, etc.
» Jin's monkey tail (narrative) turns gold when Aurasure is active.
» Mutations don't lose their form, but they do lose their function. Steel skin turns brittle, leg-engines stall, etc.
» Jin's monkey tail (narrative) turns gold when Aurasure is active.
DRAWBACKS
» Aurasure only affects Quirks. Flavor (e.g. strength, speed) is opt-in only; never mandated. You can use your quirk if you leave Aurasure's range.
» If someone is squeezing his tail, he cannot activate Aurasure. And if someone were to remove his tail, they'd also remove his quirk factor.
» Jin's body composition makes him unable to swim. He sinks to the bottom of any liquid less dense than mercury.
