Shigeo's biggest hope is that when other people talk about him, they say he is kind. For him, it's what drives him. He's selfless, wanting to help anyone and everyone. If he can do something to help, he will do it. He's a bleeding heart, often putting aside his own wants and needs for the sake of others. He has seemingly endless compassion and empathy, trying to understand even the worse of people. He's also desperate for recognition, both from his cold parents and the world at large. He's an expressive person, always trying to stay positive.
Shigeo is gullible, wanting to see the good in others above all else. It's quick to earn his trust, and he's slow to anger. However, he hates senseless violence, seeing it as a last resort. He'd much rather talk out problems than fight. But he also understands that in the world of heroics, you need to be able to fight.
Also, due to his more sheltered upbringing, he can be a bit ignorant at times. For him, this causes him embarrassment, as he holds himself to being a perfectionist. Given how much he focuses on others perception of him, he holds himself to a high standard, fearing any trip or falter. Shigeo has a strong drive to improve, but struggles to actually find value in himself and his worth. He's also a bad with money, often spending through his monthly allowances within the first week.

He's on the shorter side and a bit thin, generally being seen as a bit younger than he actually is. His smooth baby face doesn't do much to prevent this. He has a round face, with soft eyes.
He likes to express himself with his clothes, often wearing designer brands and bright colors. He also has a penchant for accessories, mixing in chockers, necklaces and bracelets into almost all of his outfits. He also enjoys having a black base, with layers of color as his main aesthetic. Shigeo also has a fondness for leather, often incorporating it with any of his outfits.
His hero suit, being a black sleeveless jumpsuit with a repurposed coin dispenser belt, for easy quirk access with the coins he uses to fight with. According to Shigeo, it's only a temporary hero suit, until he fully decides what theming he wants to have with his hero persona. He's gone back and forth on what he wants and is generally indecisive in regard to anything regarding his actual hero identity. (His own hero name took months, and ended up being a random name a classmate suggested for him.

Born to the COO of a pharmaceutical company and the head engineer of a support item manufacturer, Shigeo was born as the middle child for the upper class family. His parents were naturally distant, with Shigeo being raised by a revolving door of nannies, tutors and house staff. It was rare to speak to his parents, with a strong rift present between the parents and children. However, despite the distance, there was a high level of expectations placed on the shoulders of the Kuse children.
Both of the parents had come from poverty and with a combination of luck and hard work, had achieved great things. But the duo had loftier ambitions. Wealth and status was what drove them, and as a result, their children were only seen as tools in pursuit of their goals. Because of this, competition thrived among the Kuse children. The children were compared to one another relentlessly, with the understanding that the children who were considered “better investments” would receive more attention and love from their parents.
Shigeo's brothers excelled in ways Shigeo could not. Hideki, Shigeo's older brother by three years, was gifted with a silver tongue. Combined with his sharp wit, and perfectionist tendencies, he was seen as the perfect heir. The golden child. Shigeo’s younger brother by two years, Botan was a genius, solving complex equations at an early age, was held in high regard and pushed to further a career in technology.
But Shigeo was the black sheep. He wasn’t necessarily bad. He was an honor roll student who was held in high regard by his classmates. He was seen as the perfect student and classmate. But not to his parents. Hideki had already been in those roles and had done them better. And Shigeo may have been older, but he wasn’t smarter than his genius younger brother. Despite him seeming perfect to others, his parents simply saw him as inferior.
Despite the often forced isolation and lack of reliable adults in his life, Shigeo grew up kind, with a desire to help people. He watched how his parents treated others and from an early age, instilled a sense of fear of seeming like that. He hated how that felt, and didn’t want to treat others that same way. This natural kindness pushed him to step out of the nest. His parents didn’t care much for him, so upon graduation, when Shigeo applied to UAU it took little convincing. If he succeeded, he could bring in some fame. If not, at least he wouldn’t be around.

QUIRK NAME: Magnetic Charge
QUIRK RANK: C+
QUIRK TYPE: Emitter
QUIRK DESCRIPTION: By touching an inorganic object, Shigeo can assign a magnetic charge to said object. He can also charge any part of their body with an magnetic charge, using opposing and attracting forces to manipulate his surroundings. Once an item has been assigned a magnetic charge, Shigeo can swap between it being positive or negative. Shigeo can also create lightning, in between two opposingly charged points. The user also passively acts like a lightning rod, drawing in lighting attacks that are near him.
QUIRK DRAWBACKS: Charged objects can only be used a short distance from himself and if goes beyond that range, it looses its charge entirely and needs to be reassigned a charge. Also, due to the reliance on magnetic charges, the quirk is weak to outside interference from other strong electromagnets. And despite their status as a human lighting rod, they are not immune to electric attacks. When utilizing his own lighting, the two charged items used to create the lighting, are also affected by the lighting attack. Also, the more items that are charged, the weaker said charge is overall. Weaker charges result in weaker lighting and slower movement as said objects are repelled and attracted.
