Arc's eyes widened for a moment as she mentioned U.A., but he tried not to outwardly react to how shocked he was. It was always a risk running into someone affiliated with Heroes when he went out, but he had naively dropped his guard because of how fragile she seemed. That said, the fact that she came off that way to him and was a Hero rather alarmed him. He was rather past the point of turning back now though, and remained committed to whatever fate had in store for him with this odd new friendship.

When the question was redirected back to him he paused for a moment, combing for things relatively normal that he enjoyed, which was hard with a life as abnormal as his.
"I like checking out theme parks.. and vibing in nature, especially at night cause the air feels better. Discovering new places in the city is fun, too." He mused, thinking of all the small out of the way places he had found since coming here.
"Is training to be a Hero hard?"

"Theme parks?" Maisie would perk at the mention of an amusement park. Maybe... Just maybe... They could go to one together? Oh gosh, the idea sounded so exciting! With a scared breath, she would ask a question. "Have you, been to amusements parks with a lot of girls?" Maybe that's why he liked going to them? Was it because he was secretly a ladies man and took every girl there? Oh, maybe he was bisexual, that was bad for her to assume. She would correct herself. "Or boys."

Going out at night felt nice. "A late night walk sounds really relaxing, the wind is one of my favorite things because it's just... Always there for me to feel. It lifts me up and makes me able to smell and feel better." The thought made her happy. "It is very hard. I feel that I am behind because I cannot see, but I want to be a hero to help people. I wasn't... Actually supposed to be a hero. My parents wanted me to be in the general education program so that I would be protected, but I don't want to be treated like I'm helpless..." She would squeeze his hands. "So, I want to prove that I can save people just as good as anyone else, even if that means I have to do a lot!"
