"Good to know." It seemed that there way of thinking lined up a lot more than Calli originally would have expected it to. Seeing someone like Mox, it was hard to know what exactly to expect. "I won't tell anyone, it's our secret." She'd wink and also place a finger over her lips.

As much as it was fun to talk about stuff with Nox, she wanted to get to know her without the droning on of hero life in the backdrop. She'd get up and dust herself off, but almost fell over as she was called a cutie. Calli was used to her being the one complimenting people, not the other way around. Coughing and rubbing the back of her neck, she'd think about where she actually wanted to go.

"Maybe we can go to the beach? Have a cool sand castle making battle, race in the water and then I'll treat you to ramen after?" She'd place her hands on her hips, waiting to see if her suggestion was enough. To add onto it, Calli would try to think of a good retort for the name she was called. "That's if you want to tag along with me, gorgeous."

She was a pretty one. Striking features, attractive build, morals that Nox agreed with and strong willed enough to speak her mind. What a curious and intriguing find this day. And here Nox thought she would spend her day being sour and glaring at screens full of heroic brats. The beach? The suggestion surprised the ronin honestly. Mind having taken her to…less legal activities, the woman wasn’t against a beach day. Again, she might be a villain, but she still enjoyed many of the things anyone else did. ”I could do the beach. At least there, I don’t have to listen to this garbage.” She added in with a snort and point to the screen, getting a little more bold as time went on. Perhaps it was good to go chill out before she grew too annoyed. Hearing the word gorgeous, Nox tilted her head to the side to regard the woman. For a moment she looked at her in silence. ”Gorgeous?” Acting as if she was questioning the compliment before she smirked. ”I prefer to describe myself as regal, but I can’t argue gorgeous is inaccurate.” Ego showing through a little alongside her playful nature, the ronin then motioned with her hand. ”Lead on.” She ended with a smile, wondering what spot Calli might take her to. "That's what I thought! The sound of the water, hitting against the shores. The sound of birds just chirping as they are trying to find food! It's soothing, in a way, isn't it?" A bright smile would come over her face. Perhaps it was just that she felt comfortable with Nox, but it was nice to at least be able to enjoy something so simple with her.

At her correction of the word, she would think about it for a moment. "Regally gorgeous then." She would bow, as if she was using it to apologize. "I think that you could be whatever, but that's just me." She'd look at her for a bit longer, before turning around and leading her away and to the beach. Thankfully, there was something close enough that they didn't have to walk for long. Putting her hands behind her back, she'd try to walk beside Nox. Looking her over, she'd try to glance at her face when she felt like Nox wasn't looking. "How old are you, by the way? It's hard to tell." She'd pause, before saying her own age. "I'm twenty." It was small banter, but it was better than keeping it silent in between them. "You look mature enough, and very strong you know? With those weapons and stuff. So regal~."

Whether a mogul or pauper, people were drawn to the waves and sand. Nox believed it was the freedom the open ocean and its uncharted depths offered. Out of all the world, the seas were the least explored and often, quite lawless. The self proclaimed samurai wondered what it might be like to travel them…and what loot she might plunder. ”Hah!” Nox let out the unrestrained laugh at the obnoxious bow Calli offered alongside her correction of “regally gorgeous.” The girl definitely had a sense of humor even when paying a compliment. Ego fueled by the words, the ronin did offer a smile in return. Not immune to flattery, the tough woman was harder to crack or woo than your average individual. Partly because of her natural distrust of the unknown in people. Calli was on her way though. That same distrust had Nox’s attention divided as they strolled towards the sand, eyes watching those around them. A mixture of people watching and suspicion for all, she missed the glances and assessment of her current companion. Only when the question of her age came did she meet Calli’s face again. ”Perhaps we are long lost twins then for I am also twenty.” She teased, but then a smirk stretched her lips at the mention of her strength and just how “regal” she was. Funny and clever, a dangerous yet enticing combination. Aware of her build, Nox lifted one arm to let her sleeve fall back and reveal her arm up to the shoulder. Tone and somewhat muscular, countless hours of training and real use of her blades kept her in shape. Not to mention she also trained others in her art. Yet, she retained her feminine charms and softness in areas as well, a mixture of the two through genetics and hard work. ”I keep myself active. Plenty waste away doing nothing or let hesitation naw at them. Not me. I train and I work for what I want. How about you? No offense, but the sweatpants and t-shirt leave your physique a bit of a mystery. Nice dark locks, striking eyes, I can see those, but for all I know you have a peg leg under there.” She added with a chuckle as they crossed the boardwalk towards the beach. As they did, a younger man on roller skates nearly hit her, swerving at the last moment to cut around the two women. Whether by design of mistake, he shot off on his way with only the shortest of apologies, hardly anything convincing. Nox, for her part at least, glared daggers at the man as he rolled off. ”Thoughtless ass.” She half spat in his direction, a snort then following before she looked back towards Calli. It was good to know that they were the same age. This meant to her that they would understand each other in a more personalized light due to their shared understanding of the world at their age. It was vast and open and perhaps a bit scary to be a part of. They were just starting to understand their lives.

Calli looked at her arm and felt her cheeks redden a bit. She was strong- Calli pulled her eyes away and instead cleared her throat.

As she started to wonder about the physique of her body. Calli got a bit sled conscious. "It's nothing special." She'd casually lift up her shirt and reveal her stomach; there was a pretty defined but wasn't super clear. She'd drop her hoodie before pulling the sleeve back and making a pose. There was a good amount of muscle there and it was obvious that she fought with her hands. Rolling her sleeve down, she'd place her hands in her hips, casually lifting up her pants legs too. "No peg leg, okay body."

Right as she stopped it, the person would come swerving between them. Calli, not as alert due to her showing off herself, would trip on her own foot when Box came closer and fall on her ass. With a thud, she'd look up to Nox before she felt a small laugh creeping of her. "Ah, yeah that sucks... At least you didn't fall!"

Thankfully, despite the red cheeks, Calli was willing to share. No attempt at anything lewd, the ronin was genuinely curious. Head tilted to glance at the woman’s stomach, noting the light definition and flat core, Nox nodded in approval. Her arm was similar, tone and muscular, yet not exactly a bulging bicep. That being said, the swordmaster understood the purpose of lean and clean. Bulk rarely helped out, at least in her fighting style as it were. Calli was built to be a fighter, Nox could tell and that left her smiling in approval, even chuckling at the peg leg comment. However, before she could openly comment, that rolling jerk whizzed past them and while Nox glared, it was Calli who wound up on her backside. Laughing it off, clearly not the type to let temper get the better of her too easily, Nox’s eyes narrowed all the more. Snorting again, extending an arm to help Calli up, she was still watching the man go. ”Want to go kick his ass?” She asked completely seriously, yet with room for Calli to say no of course. She wasn’t about to force anything on her. Regardless, whether they were walking after the man or back on the way to the beach. She went back to the discussion on form and figure. ”Your body is amazing. Fuck anyone that says different.” She said with a wave of her hand as dismissing anyone in Calli’s life that might have said otherwise. ”I say rock what you got.
