The way she stumbled was so cute. It seemed like she really didn't know how to process questions like this at all. What a cute inexperienced person she was. She'd just walk casually, before perking I'm at the mention of a guy. "Woah really? Is he hot? Does he go to the school? Oh, is he older, you scandalous girl! What do you like about him? The dude sounded sus. She didn't know basic facts about him but she was fawning over him? Who does that? "Uh huh... "It's okay to be excited, but it's more important to be smart. People can so easily walk over you if you let them. It's important to protect yourself so you don't get hurt by people that aren't worth it." She'd just shrug at her own resolve, knowing that it was important for Jun to get another perspective.

Before she could reply to her question, Calli sighed. "Oh yeah, don't look me in the eyes. You'll get dizzy." Taking her phone back, she'd give her a pat on the shoulder. "That's my quirk, it's why I haven't been looking at ya, even if you're pretty." With a pause, Calli would check her phone before going back to her question. "Why not? "Sounds like a plan then. I don't really have any friends either. Moving here in my 3rd year of school will do that for you." She hated that it was a lot harder to make friends than she thought it would be.

"My other hobbies? I like music, art, karaoke, physical stuff like swimming. I really love books too." There was more, but she didn't want to overload her with all the things that she may be into. "I am sure I'll get new hobbies when I get friends too. I'm adaptable. How about you?"

Though it did stop Jun from flat out trying to make eye contact again, even if she really wanted to test that for herself. "Wait, you transferred?" Dang. That had to be rough. So Jun rubbed her chin, thinking. "Howwww about I introduce you to some of my friends? Do you think that'd be productive? Yaoyao...might be a bit of a sell, and Masao...both of us are pretty rigid in our beliefs, but she might be a good person to talk to." "Yeah, from Greece." She would clarify. "I already did most of my general education stuff so now it was just the process of getting into the hero school my parents wanted for me." At the mention of getting new friends, she perked up a bit at the mention of Masao again. "I saw her boyfriend drawing her. He was sweet. I'd like to be her friend." She probably didn't have much in common with her, but that was okay.

"What university did you attend there? And how different is it from UAU?" This was a big question as the farthest Jun had ever traveled from home was to Tokyo. And the mention of Calli wanted to see her models had Jun's eyes dilate as she pulled out her phone. "I've taken a buncha photos of them! At least, some of the better ones! Check this out!" And without any hesitation she was in Calli's space, but not touching her as she flipped through her photos. "This is the IJN Musashi, something me and my dad worked on for like, three months! It's 1/350 scale, and we went into so much detail!" And from there Jun would show off all the ships that had been built over the years. "It was like UAU, but it just wasn't as prestige based. Parents wanted me to go where my sister went and follow in her fame. So I came here. I'm just glad to be away from them really." It was suffocating having to be compared to Iphi every three seconds.

Looking at her models on her phone, she'd be amazed at the amount of detail that ent into them. "Wow, you're good at this. How much do they pay you for this stuff? I'm sure you could start some type of business." She wasn't sure how popular models were, but they looked so well put together that she assumed it had to be a pretty penny. "I'd buy one from you, at least."

Calli would looknat her deadpan. "What do you think? All the expectations that they have of me is because of my sister. On top of that, once she left for UAU she hardly ever came back. I used to think of her as the person I cared about most, but I have no idea who my sister is anymore. She's a workaholic and not someone I want to be like." The topic pissed her off, but she wouldn't get mad at Jun for bringing it up.

"Well, you're good either way." She would clarify, pushing her hair away from her face a bit. "You have a talent so it's good that you can use it, ya know?" It wasn't everyday that people were good at something. "Thanks for showing me what you're passionate about though. It's cool." Calliope knew that she would never be able to do something similar, so she had to make sure to compliment her with the chances she had.

Looking ahead, she could slowly see the school approaching. "Ah, the time flew by fast didn't it? I guess we only got a bit more to go. Thanks for walking back with me." She'd continue to look at Jun, but not into her eyes. "It's good to make my first real friend here!"

Calli might have a casual view of sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll, but she was clearly interested in burying her own problems under anything and everything she could get her hands on. Granted, things like drugs were illegal, so it was possible Calli didn't even do that sort of thing. Still...she brought it up, and it had Jun concerned. Today was clearly not the day to go digging into all that; they just met, and this was all fragile. She was going to let things simmer, maybe do a few other things before Jun attempted to broach it again. "Right. Sorry, uh, for bringing it up..." She didn't detect any hard feelings, but it would be something she'd have to skirt around in the future. The compliment did bring a smile to her face. "Thanks...if there's something I want to be known for, it's for what I can and will do. And hey, maybe next time you can show me some of the art you do?" She wasn't as enthusiastic as her father when it came to brushwork, but she could at the very least appreciate a good art piece as well as the next person. And before she knew it they really were approaching the gates. "Woah...time flies." She gave Calli a bright smile, as well as a thumbs up. "I'm glad to be your first friend here! "It's fine, it gets brought up almost every day." She'd just shrug. She was used to getting compared to her sister more than she liked to, so she was used to just going with the flow as much as she could. Sometimes, it was easier to give a simple answer and move on than to avoid the topic. It made her seem a lot more resentful when she didn't just confirm it, and that wasn't the type of reputation she wanted.

With a smile at the idea of her art, Calli would just smile over in her direction. "Sure thing. I'll make sure to have some stuff ready for you." She wasn't sure what she would really show her, but she'd have something ready. With another glance in her direction, she'd give a thumbs up back. "Sounds good to me, it'll be fun to be able to have many more days ahead with you!" It was nice to make friends, and Jun seemed like a good enough one.
