”This is the third time this week I have to tell you, hero students aren’t allowed in the support department workshops without the express consent of your homeroom teacher!”

The teacher would continue chewing out Johanna who in turn looked like a child who was being kept from their favourite toys.

It wasn’t fair to Johanna, sure she might’ve been a part of the hero course training to become a pro hero, but she LOVED engineering and everyone knew that U.A.’s workshops were beyond state of the art and pretty much heaven for engineers, mechanics, and all other sorts of tinkerers all around the world.

There was stuff that only U.A. had, the cutting edge, and from the first day onwards she had felt that unstoppable allure to get her hands on such tools to supercharge her own exosuit to be better and badder at everything she had her mind on.

”I’m sorry teacher, I promise that I will get permission next time and won’t sneak in when you’re not looking.”

Her words were hardly dripping with sincerity, and the teacher knew as much as they let out a strained huff and ultimately waved her off with a shrug in the hopes that she would maybe one day learn her lesson.

Johanna shook the thoughts out of her head, at least until the next time her mind wandered… But then she saw it in the corner of her eyes through a window, something that widened her eyes beyond belief.

”Woah, they have armoured suits here?!”

She stifled herself from shouting just in time as she looked around in the hope the teacher hadn’t heard her, and like a kid in front of the toy store she put her hands on the glass to look at it with wide eyes, her mind racing about the specs of such a thing.

Zahra tries to tinker a little bit with Daedalus but there is an obstacle that she need to face; with how Daedalus is huge; some of its spare parts are extra heavy for her. Sure, a person that goes into gym or training their core strength would not find any difficulties on transporting and installing the spare parts but for Zahra's lanky arm? Yeah no luck for her. She usually use Daedalus as a strength support whenever she build her robotic suit but now the very suit that she is tinkering is Daedalus itself. "I wish a strong person come and lend a hand" Zahra wish while staring to the roof and hear a commotion outside the lab. Being curious, she take a peek and see a hero student and a teacher arguing. Apparently the hero wants to use the workshop for something? But it doesn't matter. This person will do.

Zahra opens the door which makes the teacher startled. "Ah my helper is here! Sorry, sensei but I am borrowing this girl. Peace" Zahra let out a cheeky smiles as she quickly grabs Johanna's hand and attempting to pull her in. If the woman somehow refuse and stand still; Zahra won't be able to pull Johanna even with her full feeble strength.

Her eyes didn’t particularly notice the girl moving around, with how much she was transfixed by the mecha suit instead. And she was a bit surprised when she heard a voice talking to the teacher and before long someone dragged her along back into the workshop.

”Are you taking me to heaven?” Her voice would softly stray.

A free pass into the workshop, to look at and maybe even tinker with all the cool stuff, with someone vouching for her. It took her a few seconds to realize that they were still being dragged and quickly decided to willingly move along with the girl.

”Woah, are you the one that made that armored suit?!”

Just as quickly, Johanna would realize that she was being whisked in by the creator of the suit, and by the looks of it they were a freshman just like she was. Which made the creation all the more dope, because there were so many people she could get inspired by for her own stuff.

Quickly she’d let her eyes be transfixed by the suit again as she gotten up close, and she quickly started to move around it touching and prodding all sides of it, finding every seam and trying to analyse every design choice whether it was practical or aesthetic, or even a mix of both.

The notion that maybe she shouldn’t touch it, simply did not dawn.

”This thing is so dang cool, how much can it lift? Are those opticals for lasers or for different uses? Can it fly?” she’d rattle off.

Fortunately, she is more than happy to be dragged into the lab. Zahra could only snicker with the child-like fascination that is displayed by the girl upon everything that she sees. "Heaven? That is debatable but it is a sight to see" Zahra emphasize the 'is' with a smile. The machinery within the room is state of an art where support student easily accessed to made it to be a fun playground for Zahra.

"This bad boy lift more than you can imagine, fully equipped with a sturdy prism glasses that has the function to increase the intensity of the laser that is shot from the core that I planted on its head." Zahra put on a bold claim upon its strength, truthfully she never limit test the strength that it can hold and her feeble strength, the strength that it can hold is beyond what she can imagine. Therefore, there was no lie upon her sentence. I call him, Daedalus Type G/U Ver 1.0 or Daedalus for short. I love using him for the heavyweight If the girl is perceptive enough, she could guess that since Daedalus is under maintenance she doesn't have the right manpower to handle stuff like this.

Oh yeah, my name is Zahra. How about you? Zahra introduces herself wanting to know the name of the girl that is going to help her.

”Man, I am like… super stoked just to see this bad boy up close.” she’d exclaim excitedly. ”I’ve been working with mechanics and engineering since I was like eight, but this stuff is well beyond even my own imagination or skill level!” she praised and gushed.

It was part of the reason why she had gone with the hero studies rather than support studies. Even if her father had somewhat hoped that she had gone with the latter. She was a do-er, and preferred to get her hands dirty in the trenches than sit in a lab. She lacked the patience her father had, and neither had the finesse to think about the finer things. Her gear was practical at all times, but with no flourishes of finer talent that was evident in every invention in the room she was standing at.

”Oh right, I’m Johanna!” she’d say with a bright smile.

She had honestly sucked in all the information Zahra had shared with her, and the name was mega cool too. She was eager to see it in action, but would probably have to wait for such an honour.

”So, what do you need me for? Like I know engineering, but well… I am about as subtle as a hammer in a toolshed.” she said, downplaying her own skills a bit.
