This tends to make her much easier to trick and deceive, further exacerbated by her selfless and heroic tendencies. Despite doing her best to be empathetic, Kata often can come off as very pushy when her mind is set on something she believes to be the best. QUIRK NAME: Shock Absorption

QUIRK TYPE: Mutation

QUIRK DESCRIPTION: The user's entire body is capable of absorbing and dispersing kinetic energy, giving them immense toughness towards most physical attacks or damage. This also sets their [Durability] to their Quirk rank permanently as it necessitates a solid body.

QUIRK DRAWBACKS: (1) Shock Absorption only works on kinetic energy. Energy attacks or elemental afflictions will bypass it entirely.

(2) The Quirk is only effective up to it's current rank. Anything that overpowers it cannot be absorbed, only partially mitigated. 

(3) Shock Absorption strains the user's stamina, automatically activating on every instance of kinetic force. Intensive prolonged use will leave the Quirk holder exhausted, as the ability cannot be turned off.

(4) Non-threatening force—anything that wouldn't potentially cause a bruise in a normal human—does not trigger Shock Absorption. This means that slow lacerations or puncture wounds can bypass the Quirk entirely.
