Zaya is a very closed off person; Opening up to most people is very difficult for her, and she compensates with a general sense of rudeness to most who approach her. While she’d have you believe she wants to be left ot her own devices, she gets very attached to anyone who can befriend her, hard as the task may be. Even around people she likes, Zaya retains a general sense of sass, but her resentment is replaced with playfulness.

How does the old saying go, “Heros are the symbols of justice?” That rings true for most of their breed, but not for Raiou Inazuma. Ever since obtaining his hero license, he’s used it to no end to brutalize villains; If you walked away from a fight with him still able to move, you were considered lucky.
One would think that after he was blessed with a daughter, Zaya Inazuma, the unruly hero would calm his ways; Rather, it had the opposite effect. Raiou, at this point going by the hero moniker ShocK-King, even went as far as to join a newly formed hero team, The Thunderbolts, a group comprised of heroes with a similar outlook on crime, as its de facto leader, all the while reasoning that it was best to clear the streets of villains, for his daughter's sake. This, coupled with his wife leaving him for his overly violent treatment of crime, set the stage for Zaya’s upbringing.
From an early age, Zaya had limited time with her parents; Her father was almost always out on hero duties, and her mother didn’t bother staying around after she was born for too long, and hardly ever visited, meaning Zaya was mostly raised by caretakers, hired by her father. Most of the few interactions with her father were tainted by Raiou’s reputation, which caused reporters to hound Zaya whenever she was spotted in public, eager to get scoops on what the ShocK-King was really like behind closed doors, if rumors circulating around him were true, and if Zaya planned to follow in his footsteps.
Zaya became a complete shut-in, not wanting to even try interacting with others in public, making herself as content as she could with the comfort of a computer and a dark room. Her quirk’s emergence only made things worse; If she didn’t exercise caution, anyone she made physical contact with was liable to get their energy, both physical and emotional, drained right out of them.
Once Zaya became old enough to apply to UA, Raiou wasted no time applying her, much to the chagrin of his daughter. For him, Zaya was the perfect candidate to be the future leader of the Thunderbolts; Who better than the child of the previous leader.
After Zaya, who was less than pleased about her father’s decision, purposefully flunked the entrance exams, ShocK-King used his influence to get her into the school anyway, the day after her fifteenth birthday.
Now, enrolled in a school she doesn’t want to go to, surrounded by people she could care less for, Zaya has to find some way to succeed…Or at least stay sane.

QUIRK NAME: Toxcicity
QUIRK TYPE: Emitter
QUIRK RANK: B+
DESCRIPTION:
Poison Lightning Quirk. Acid Green Lightning that infects a target hit with it. Whatever part of the body the poison lightning makes contact with will start to feel numb and tingly after a while; Continued exposure will make the feeling come faster. Zaya can fire off her lightning with limited range, or use it by infusing it into her hands; Either way, an electrical green aura surrounds her, making it obvious that her quirk is active. The Poison affect can spread through direct contact. Her electricity ignores normal electromagnetism, and instead is attracted to and repelled by consciousness.
When draining someone through direct contact, the target will feel the same affect as getting hit by the lightning; Numbness and lack of energy.
In addition to firing off her special poison lightning, she can also blast opponents with a more normal feeling lightning, that gives the target a feeling of getting zapped. Far weaker than an actual lightning bolt, but will still hurt. The more 'normal' lightning can go much further than the poison variety. Her poison lightning will go about 20 feet, but loses power the further it has to travel, to where it is almost completely ineffective at maximum range. The regular lightning, while much weaker, but can be shot 20 feet and maintain its power.
DRAWBACKS: Zaya has to be ‘juiced up’ for her quirk to be effective. The more she uses it, the more drained she feels; While this obviously affects her physically, it can also emotionally drain her, making her feel rather apathetic, dulling her senses. The only way to get her energy back is through rest or by draining someone else’s energy through direct contact. The less energy she has left, the less distance her lightning bolts go.
A side effect of her quirk is giving her emotional extremes, making her more bitter and mean than she means to be at times.
Like her father, her lightning isn't effective against anyone who doesn't conduct electricity; Things like rubber or the hard dirt will reject her lightning entirely, rendering it useless.
For Zaya, overcharging her quirk can be just as dangerous as not charging enough. In the event where she has too much energy built up, her entire body is engulfed in a purplish-greenish glow, and she moves far too fast to be able to control herself. The strain on the body will become enormous as well.

SKILL NAME: Stealth
SKILL RANK: B
SKILL DESCRIPTION: Being a natural introvert and shut-in, Zaya has found hiding herself from sight, or blending into the background, even in battle, easier than others. Considering that she needs to have direct physical contact if she wants to collect the energy she drains from someone for herself, this can come in handy.
