The moment she felt the tumors beginning to wither Jun fell to her knees, dry heaving as the pain and general desperation of the situation gave her flashbacks. The run of that early morning, the emotions tied to that, almost mirrored what she was experiencing in this moment, and all she could do is crawl into the fetal position and shake. Thankfully, the severity of this situation wasn't on par with back then, but she couldn't help but let her mind wander back to that time. "Is..is everyone...okay?" she asked, trying her best to focus on the present. As messy as it was, there were tables and chairs around her, the floor was of some linoleum and not dirt, there was the faint smell of coffee and other foods, everything was nice and cool... After a few minutes of regaining her bearings she'd allow herself to be helped up, legs wobbling as she made her way into a chair. "He's a bounty hunter. And he's hunting heroes. Which means there's a board." She frowned, looking down. "I'm not certified, Kaz...my friends are in danger again. And there's nothing I can do. Promise me that whoever is behind this gets taken down. Promise me that no one else will have to suffer." Kazashi McCoy

And just like that the fighting was over. It wasn’t the toughest opponent she had fought. Nowhere near it in fact, and yet she was exhausted. Relieved that Jun hadn’t been more hurt and all that got triggered was her physical touch trauma. Sure, it wasn’t ideal, but given what they had been up against it could have gone so much worse. Maybe this was a wake up call to herself too. That her pregnancy really was slowing her down and she shouldn’t push herself so hard. At least not until after the little ones were born.

“Everythin’ turned out fine, Jun. We did it.” She smiled reassuringly. “Ah promise ya.” She sat directly opposite from Jun. So far only heroes had been targeted, that someone was even looking to involve students was disturbing and only made their situation more urgent. They needed to track down the culprit behind these bounties and put a lid on it before things got worse. “We’ve got the best heroes in Tokyo workin’ on it, Ah promise ya no one else will get hurt.” She grinned her fanged grin, “Ya did what ya had ta today. Ya stepped up when things got bad. Ah’m proud of ya.” Their day had still totally been ruined. “If yer hungry, Ah can cook up somethin’ fast back at the apartment. It’s no fancy cafe food, but it’s home.” She offered with a smile.
