When Freja first found out she was paired up with Rin, she was eager to celebrate. That meant her teammate wouldn't be some tryhard who would blame her when everything inevitably went south. However, their celebration was short when Freja saw who they were up against. Miroru?! Miroru would be a tough opponent, especially because she wasn't the type that was quick to give up. The girl next to her on the list inspired even more dread in the Danish girl. Takara Toshigawa... Wasn't that the girl who had called out that she wanted to fight Freja specifically?? A cold chill ran down her spine. She didn't know what she was capable of, but surely this was some kind of evil twist of fate. ''The opposition looks scary..'' She muttered to herself and Rin. ''Well! As a team of heroes we're totally unbeatable, right? Let's give it our all!'' She put on a fake smile, doing a doubletake at the announcement.

''WE'RE THE VILLAINS?!''

Once they had been assigned their building and was about to get ready, Freja had brought two support items, if you could call them that, with her into the assignment. One was a baseball bat, pretty vital if she wanted to be of any use to Rin. The other however, was a can of red spray paint. Because Freja didn't have a quirk, she had to rely on her ingenuity. The way this had manifested was that throughout the interior of the building, walls were littered with red arrows pointing in the wrong directions, as well as mocking messages written on the walls like 'HAHA I AM VILLAIN' in English. She could have kept it for blinding one of her opponents too, but by the time Freja had put down the last arrow the can was completely empty.

Once the exercise was about to kick off, Freja was sat next to the bomb on one of the building's upper floors. ''If we lose, I won't blame it on you.'' She smiled at Rin. ''Why did you even want to pair with me? I get that the teams were randomized, but back then...'' She recalled how Rin had spoken up about wanting to partner up with Freja. That was a big deal for Rin of all people. ''You know I'm quirkless. If you wanted to impress the teachers shouldn't you have hoped to end up with someone else?'' Out of the corner of her eye she saw the timer on the bomb start ticking down from 15 minutes. ''Looks like we're up, my evil partner in crime.'' She took a deep breath and swung her bat around casually. ''For the sake of this exercise I'm no longer Retry. Please refer to my villain name...''

As the teams were being displayed one by one Takara realized she didn't know anyone's name aside from Miroru who she helped out a few days prior and Sebastian from the orientation. Both people she genuinely wouldn't have minded having as a partner for this event since they were both fun in their own way. As another group was sent to their simulated battle site she frowned as she saw Sebastian went with them. 'Rats. He would have made a good shield' she thought to herself as she scanned the room for the leftovers. There were only 8 of them left BUT that included the girl she had wanted to go against earlier. Hopefully, with some luck (and nepotism), she would get her wish and there was only one more callout to go. As another set of names was called that she didn't recognize she eagerly started in the girls direction and when she didn't move she was ecstatic. Even if they were on the same team that would be good enough but it seemed like luck or at least Leonid was on her side as she was set to go against her. [break][break]

She and the other smaller girl who honestly looked like she would fall over from a light breeze left to get set up as the "villains" of the exercise with Takara and Miroru sent to the entrance of the building "I should buy a lottery ticket today! Not only do I get to face off against the girl I wanted but we get to team up." she looked Miroru up and down, noting that she had her support gear from before "Hey look at you, you were able to work out the kinks?" she was happy to have helped Miroru test them and it would be interesting to see how they work in combat "Mind if I take point? I'm going after the girl with the bat first." she didn't really want to explain why as she felt that getting into the details of her quirk would just lose them too much time "But! If you need help just call out for me" she raised her fist hoping Miroru would pick up on it and give her a fist bump in return. If her grandfather was watching she had no choice but to win. She wouldn't accept anything else just like Leonid, even if he had since mellowed out significantly.
