Kioko didn't say a word as she began to depart, and for a moment Kei kept his eyes on her. Fearful of missing some sign or bracing himself for whatever happened next; he focused as best as he could given the noise of the event around him. For his efforts he received a farewell before she blended with the crowd. Which should be difficult for her to do with how tall she was but no, she was just gone. He let out a breath.

He ran through the same demonstration with them as he had been all day, the device running without any issues. He had no reason to suspect it had been tampered with.
After all, Kioko was just another guest in the sea of attendees interested in the technology being showcased.
