She couldn't maintain two different types of constructs at a time, and so she elected to keep the beacon lit. Seeing them twist and turn in the air was interesting to watch, but if the purpose was to knock them out then all bets were off. Only she was relying on Miroru to do the shooty shoot. Which...that display, once she saw Miroru knock them out, was impressive. "Huh. That was kinda cool," she says, glancing at her ring. She was burning through material way too quickly, and the last stone in the ring was just about burnt out. "I think I can go on for a little longer, spotlights take up a lot of power. I'll have to replenish here soon." She glanced back at Hiyori, raising an eyebrow. "Haven't you like...considered a bodysuit or something like that? You could get one made to better accommodate your...ports...I think. Pretty sure." Hiyori Miroru

"You're welcome," Miroru offered gently, well aware how much the rare compliments she got herself mattered to her. "And maybe if it's hard to keep them aligned, engineering that into the design might be a good idea? There can't be that many angles of torsion that your torso can go through that your clothing won't match well- whatever that range looks like, you could have like little slots if the range is linear, or a wider port so your ports are always available regardless of angles? You could even do a soft plastic... foldy flower bit so when your dendrites retract, you aren't exposed? Or go further and set up iris ports?"

Miroru loved to theorycraft and brainstorm, and she was going full tilt on the idea of solving the lack of alignment between skin-located ports and clothing-located access.

"... or you could just... y'know. Wear those tops with no back," Miroru pointed out. "With the little neck ties? That'd work too."

She noticed Hiyori's mumbling and winced. "Hey, don't- get down, okay? It's not easy to outrun light, and every one of your drones stands out to my Quirk's sense like a lantern. Being able to aim entirely within that EM sense reduces translation lag. It's just hard to get out of the way, that's not your fault."

Jun praised her, and Miroru perked up at the kind words from her redheaded senpai. "Thank you! Though- if we're using up all your... stones?" She said, recalling the glance at the rock. "Maybe we should call it here for now? We could always reconvene to train again. Maybe even give Hiyori-chan a chance to make something even more impressive to challenge us!"

I can pay no price too great for justice.

"I've tried a few things and nothing works real well," Hiyori replied, but gave Miroru a particular look. "The second best was what you suggested, with the open back halter-top. I gave it a try once but you know, you bend over or something and all the goods spill out."

Hiyori was clearly not being entirely serious since she was, of course, as flat as a board and had no spillage to worry about. In the end, she was going to roll with whatever worked best, and so far she was pretty happy with what she had decided one.

She grumbled a bit about her failure to provide adequate challenge for Miroru and figured she'd have to find out how to do that for the future, at least if she kept Hiyori around at all.

For now, though, she seemed content to pack up and leave by shedding off her mechatentacles and put her shirt back on. "I need to do some planning for later, or I wont be much use for training."
