Emilia [i]was[/i] a lively, upbeat girl with a lot to prove and is full of dreams. Despite having grown up as a military brat, she has a softer disposition than one would initially expect. She is always eager to make friends or hang out with her classmates, with the easiest way to get close to her is to suggest getting food or bringing her food, and you’ll immediately become one of her favorite people. Emilia is a little bit of a glutton, with a specific weakness for burgers, and she is a bit insecure about this fact even to this day, often feigning fullness around those she's not comfortable with. In these situations, she can come off as a bit childish, as she tends to spiral into the goofier side of her personality when uncomfortable.

Emilia is a bit of a hopeless romantic. Once she develops a crush, it usually persists, sometimes even longer than reasonable. This is likely due to her fascination with romance novels as she keeps a stack of them on her bedside table to read, and they've [i]definitely[/i] influenced her perception of romance.

Since starting at UAU, Emilia has taken up a love of physical activity, especially martial arts. She has been training more since discovering that her quirk will strengthen as she improves her conditioning, which has, in turn, made her more confident in a fight. However, she still has insecurities about being the aggressor in a fight. That is unless it's a fight to protect someone close to her.

Since making it to her Second Year with the events of [a href="https://ffjmyheroacademiarp.proboards.com/thread/1175/elementals-event"]Elementals[/a] set of a chain of events that changed Emi forever. Having to question if UAU was even the place for her or if she was more of a burden than anything else, she focused inwards, going to fewer and fewer social events, which culminated in a run-in with a lesser vigilante. The thought of doing illegal work made her nervous at first, but the prospect of learning how to fight and take care of herself so she wouldn't ever fail as she did before was too good to pass up. As the vigilante 'Starlight' she has boundless confidence and a true heroic presence, no longer feeling insecure or anxious behind the mask.

Emilia is a taller-than-average girl with straight waist-length sandy blonde hair that is usually tied into a ponytail by a big blue ribbon on the left side. When it’s loose, it reaches down to her lower back with hair strands hanging on either side and bangs swept to the right side. She has blue eyes with beauty marks underneath each eye and a round face with a light complexion.

Her outfits usually consist of bright-colored shirts and sweaters. To lessen her moderate bust, she will wear hoodies or other loose clothing outside of school hours. She cares a lot about her appearance, and it’s not uncommon to see her with brand-new clothes that she purchased during her time off.


As for her hero costume, she wears a purple suit with gold details and a yellow scarf around her neck.

The Hall Family originally hails from Gothenburg, Sweden. They immigrated to America about four generations ago as Emilia’s great-grandfather enlisted in the U.S. Army. Since then, at least one person in each generation has enlisted in the army, and it’s part of their legacy. Emilia was the second born in her immediate family, and she would constantly move around for the better part of her life. Her father was a Sergeant First Class at the time of her birth, so the family didn't have a choice in the matter.

For Emilia, this meant her childhood wasn’t easy as she only had the company of her older brother consistently, having to move schools every 1-2 years or so. It was due to this that she became quite studious as she lived in multiple countries from the time she was a toddler to a young adult. She learned many of the languages in the countries or general areas she lived which she still holds onto to this day and she has something from each place she’s lived in as a way to help her cope with the constant change. Luckily for her, it was her older brother who desired to take on the family legacy and join the army which left her to decide what she wanted to do in life. It was one day, when watching the news, that she saw one of the ‘Top Heroes’ where she was currently staying resolving a problem to roars of applause and without a single casualty that she was inspired to want to do the same. To join U.A when she was of age, she spent the better part of high school preparing the best she could. It would be fun or at least this was something she hoped but who knows?

[b]QUIRK DESCRIPTION:[/b] Star Power is a quirk that blends between the lines of a mutation and transformation. It is related to cosmic radiation and energy, with the subsequent abilities gifted having changed Emi’s physiology permanently even when the quirk is not being actively used. She has an abnormal muscular composition, making her muscles multiple times denser than the average person's while her limbs remain thin. Even without using her quirk, this grants the strength of about two full adult men in that she can lift objects much heavier than the average person without any strain. This also makes her skin tougher than average, requiring more force to penetrate her skin and muscles than one would anticipate from someone her age and size. [[b]Strength and Durability[/b]]

Her “transformation”  involves a pentagram, one on each dorsal side of her hand, which begins to glow a bright yellow. A silver-white mist begins to flow around her, which fluctuates rapidly from a cool mist to a warm one. The rest of her transformation is internal as her body begins to metabolize her own energy by converting it into cosmic energy increasing her physical abilities.

This cosmic energy she creates can be manipulated into giving her various augmentations of that nature. First, she gains a personal anti-gravity field which allows her to jump high and far, all the while ignoring her massively increased weight and slowing her descent using the same field.

[b]Note on Mechanics:[/b] When her 'transformation' isn't active and she is just utilizing her mutation, her attributes can be considered a full tier below her quirks current tier [Transformation A+ = Mutation B+, etc.]

[b]DRAWBACKS:[/b] For starters, due to requiring her energy for her quirk, Emilia needs to eat much more in volume and frequency than the average person, and if she’s unable to maintain this, she will no longer be able to use the cosmic energy portion of her quirk.

The increased weight she gains from her quirk can cause problems when moving around an environment that is not reinforced, such as being on ice or another less durable surface.

This interacts with the cosmic radiation that Emi produces when using her quirk by condensing it into a mass that is added to her arms. This mass isn’t tangible in the sense that one could touch it is virtual as the device temporarily alters her radiation into a physical state when she uses her quirk. This results in a darker coloration around her arms. The result is that this virtual mass brings her in line with the extreme weight increase with her quirk and doesn’t slow her down as they’re essentially in a superposition until used. This bolsters her physical attacks with force equal to the actual mass assigned to them, allowing her to punch or strike at a range using the force generated by the wind pressure to maximize impact up to 80% of her normal striking power.

[b]SKILL DESCRIPTION:[/b] Shoot Boxing is a standup martial art where fighters use all limbs as weapons. They learn how to strike using kicks, punches, knees, and elbows both from the distance and inside the clinch. The striking aspect and concept of training are very similar to the ones in kickboxing and Muay Thai. But on top of that, Shoot Boxing adds the basics of grappling, like trips and throws. It trains its fighters to utilize standing submissions like chokes, joint locks, and wristlocks.
