Retsu craned an eyebrow wondering where Elias was going with this. A power play? Blackmail for later? What other reason could he have to get her to 'make a wish' as he said it. She couldn't figure it out so she stopped trying. Playing to someone else's strengths was a fool's errand and Retsu wasn't in the mood for it. Outmaneuvering someone in a conversation might have been Elias's strong point but dealing with whatever bad hand she'd get dealt? That was where Retsu shone.
"Ya know what, sure, why not?" She said, both her tone and the sneer on her face letting Elias know exactly how highly she thought of his petty power play. "Ah wish ta know the names of the buyers."
Her sneer vanished the moment Elias's quirk showed itself and drew blood. Suddenly she had the distinct feeling she'd misjudged exactly why he needed her to go along with that whole charade.
'Fook.'
Was the first thought that came to mind. Simple, concise, a perfect descriptor of what the situation had turned into. It was rare that Retsu was as poetic as her inner monologue was right now. It didn't take her long to refocus on the here and now though. She'd made a deal with the devil, so what? Sold her soul maybe, who cared? If his quirk suddenly started draining her life force, well, with some luck the horned devil she'd met recently would take her side or at the very least heal her to demonstrate her quirk. Wait...
...was that what this was? Was Elias trying to kill two birds with one stone? Retsu's grip tightened just the slightest bit, leaning in where anyone sane would've backed off. If he wasn't gonna kill her she might as well get the most of it and if he was? Well, not her problem anymore. Her other hand went to her hip, seeming to almost lazily rest there while inching towards the knife hidden on her lower back. Only when Elias let go again and leaned back in his seat did Retsu take a step back as well, paying full attention to his words.
"Hayashida-gumi and the Azure Fangs, ey? As good of a lead as any," she shrugged. The thought occurred to her that those two groups were ones that had annoyed him as well and that he was trying to sneakily get four jobs out of her but she quickly put it aside. There was no point in thinking about something she couldn't change anyway.
"Ah'd give ya mah number so ya ken contact me but ah wouldn'a wanna insult ya," Retsu lied. "Ya know how to find me."
If he didn't, well, that was hardly her problem now was it? She'd gotten what she needed and the rest was of no concern to her.
"Sure, let's get this done. Ah've got places ta be."
