In scope of things, magnetism wasn’t a rare quirk. She knew several people and cousins of hers that had varied levels of it. Ranging from full fledged lightning to being able to control bits of metal, to even someone being able to help pulses in neural pathways by controlling the pacing of the firing electrical signals.
However.
Something that she wasn’t expecting in the realm of quirks was the specific magnetic allowance of… Someone that could only control shovels. Was it magnetism? Was it something else entirely? Was it maybe controlling the wood in the shovels? Making it more akin to wood control or…
These were the thoughts that ran through her head as skald flipped up, along and to the otherside of car that was acting as her shield against several shovels that launched themselves at her. She was able to deflect them with her lightning but they came back around and just… well. They didn’t exactly stop hard in the dirt so to speak.
She had already cleared the immediate area of civilians so no one was in threat range of the shovels that he seemed to control.. She wanted to say half of the street? The guy that was launching them was dressed up in a miner outfit, cackling wildly and taunting her with shovel related puns.
Some of which were downright awful, but she did have to give him props to anything that related to digging. Passion in your work was important you know? The kitsune dived out of the way of a shovel that made it’s way around the car. So this guy could do more than launch shovels. So shovel… kinesis?
She’d sigh a little bit and skid to a stop as one clanged off a fire hydrant. She was dressed in her hero garb, the purple and black mix of ‘armor’ leather and regular material fluttering everytime that one of the shovels missed. The guy had like… ten of these things left? She had destroyed half of them and it wasn’t really a surprise that… the pieces weren’t moving anymore if this guy straight up was throwing shovels. Not pieces of shovels. Not the metal. Not the wood.
Shovels.
”Can you stop trying to garden me for like five minutes and we can just talk about this?”
”NO ALL SHALL KNOW THE POWER OF THE SHOVEL”
”...Figures I suppose”
With it being later in the day there wasn't as much traffic in this area thankfully but she knew that it was only a matter of time before more people showed up. Where were all the heroes anyways? She couldn't be the only one on patrol here. She almost groaned when she noted that he was drawing out trowels. Yeah who was going to regulate gardening equipment?

Skald is a happy go lucky sort of person, she genuinely is fairly easy going and tends to act the part of an older chipper much more experienced sister to her younger siblings. Even while having worked as a police officer for many years she never lost the pep to her step and fire in her heart. When she was younger she was ice cold and rarely spoke but as she grew older her genuine and friendly nature took head over her being closed off. She's easy to get along with and has no problem projecting this on others, she'll present herself in a friendly manner and continue regardless of the situation. The only time that she deems use of force or excessive use of is when a villain or the like makes it impossible for any other route. Even in the most dire of situations she isn't above cracking jokes or making the situation look less threatening. That isn't saying that she isn't without a serious side, though she keeps it under wraps to a degree. If something is truly fubar she'll grow distant, cold and there will be... Consequences for making her that serious. Her passion and flair come second; everything that he is is to be a hero to those that are near her that are within sight of her. Her strict actions and even stricter adherence to even the smallest of laws set her apart from those that would not follow even the most trivial. While fur covers her body head to toe it's multiple colors, a large swath of it being black with the secondary portions being white. There are some dyed portions of her own choices that seem to embolden her desire of some kind of flair. Her body looks like a fox and seems to give some low key advantages to being built this way; what with having seven tails, claws and an ample amount of fur. It's hard to say where she starts being 'human' anymore really. Being covered head to toe in fur also means that she has little need for actual clothing though she gennarlly wears whatever she feels like at any given time. Her favorite outfit is that of her hero garb though... Her outfit that she tends to wear out and about is that of a puffy orange vest, white anarchy T-shirt and baggy pants. The shades that she has are wide and circle rim that cover her eyes with a somewhat reddish hue. All of that in an effort to cover a massive scar that goes from one hip to her opposing shoulder. Red in color. She rarely talks about it though. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]HISTORY Skald is the eldest in a short line of children that her parents had fairly rapidly one after another. While the biggest gap in this family is between her and her youngest brother Jack orion. Skald has never treated that gap as anything other than time. From the start of her life she had been fairly quiet and tended to keep to herself until the birth of her first sibling. From then on out she decided that she didn't need to really be a quiet kid; always thinking that she was going to be on her own in some degree or another it was pleasant in terms of a surprise that she didn't have to grow up alone. Her parents never really struck her as having more than one kid. She always made time for her younger siblings, whether making them breakfast, helping them study or just walking them to school because they missed the bus. Her own personal desire was to watch them grow; make sure they were safe and she felt like she would do well in that. When she was on the younger side still she witnessed several villain attacks; some of which affected her deeply and others made her question the reasoning for their choices. It was that sort of thinking that made her want to become a police officer rather than a hero from the get go. When she turned eighteen she signed up for the police academy right out of primary schooling and served in the police force for seven years. In which a villain attack left her in the hospital for almost six months and the recovery of which lead to a host of surgeries. The police force wasn't ready for her to return to them at that time and she took the hint to retire from it. But instead of moping about she instead decided to train to be a hero for a year or so, under the tutalage of an hero named "Big Iron". Big Iron showed her the ropes and eventually helped her become a proper freelancing hero, one that she could make her parents and family proud. She decided at this point to change her name from that of 'Orion' to 'Wolfenstein'. Somewhat shuffling around her personal life so that she was less obviously connected to her family even if she was... well. Physically present. Several years later her brother Jack was accepted to the same institution that Skald herself had skipped over in favor of being a police officer. She didn't blame him, knowing that he would do well. But this did mean that she needed to step up her game and make sure that he had a warm welcome to the hero world once he was done with U.A.U. She wanted to make sure that he along with the rest of her family were safe. Something that was still a driving force to this day. Not just for her and them, but for everyone. The physical nature of her body is changed to that of a kitsune and it is host to several organs that help her naturally produce lightning that she may use in different ways like launching projectiles or lightning charged punches. Her body physically is that of an agile and speedy fox. Pushing her past normal human limits. She is immune to her own lightning. She can also shape her lightning into a variety of shapes, though this is mostly aesthetic. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: While Elding is powerful it suffers from a lot of complicated issues. While skald can launch lightning bolts from her body and through practice could use her lightning in other ways it often leaves her drained or breathless very quickly. She constantly needs to be eating or having some kind of intake to balance out using the 'calories' that she has for pure energy. She's a bit of a glutton in that regard and periods of her not eating can often lead to long term issues. Skald's biggest weakness is that the further away someone is from her the less powerful her lightning will be. Overusing her lightning has a considerable and harsh effect. She can flat out fall unconscious or become fairly unresponsive. She isn't the sort to want to push that far normally but... sometimes you have no choice.
