Natsumi would continue to watch as the situation unfolded just the way she had hoped. With the group beginning to bicker amongst themselves, their focus would shift from the windows, as they would be much more interested in placing the blame for the thrown bag. A simple trick was enough to turn them against one another; it was easy to see that they weren’t too trusting of each other, and this is what would lead to their downfall as Farrin would radio in to inform SuperNova that her diversion had worked.
In response, SuperNova would tell them not to look out of the windows. Luckily enough, the hostages would also be out of the line of sight of the windows, and as the brilliant flare would begin, Natsumi would tightly close her eyes and look away. With her eyes closed, she could hear the shouting of the thugs insulting one another flowing through the almost immediate sounds of SuperNova crashing through the windows, with the authorities not too far behind.
Her eyes would open to see the swift move of the police and the pro-hero to apprehend the criminals. It was executed with such precision that you would have believed that the maneuver had been practiced for days or even weeks. All but the brute would comply, but SuperNova was more than enough to force him into submission as Natsumi would jump down from her perch, returning to her regular size. But her first thought wasn’t to convene with SuperNova but to check on the hostages. The harrowing experience was something that people knew could happen, but it didn’t make going through it any less jarring.
She would gesture the hostages to the front of the store, where undoubtedly there would be paramedics waiting to assist them. Natsumi would speak with a smile.
“There’re paramedics outside you can go to, but you’re all safe.”
A slew of ‘thank you’s’ and a few tears would follow as they rushed out, and Natsumi would join Farrin and SuperNova. Receiving praise from the pro-hero for her actions would only warm her smile as she would nod her head.
“Yes, sir. Thank you.”
A simple response as she would turn to Farrin, her smile turning the grin. They had both made strides to become more than students today and helped make a difference, something she hoped to be able to do repeatedly.

Just as her own movements to the front of the store were Farrin’s as he quickly dealt with the guards in the back, which she was certain would be to the relief of the hostage held inside, as he radioed off his safe release, she would feel the pressure of the mission lighten, but not by much as there were still civilians in harm's way. With her extended observation, she would begin to realize a full-frontal assault from the officers and pro-hero outside would end in potential casualties, but it was during those thoughts that SuperNova spoke over the communicator again.
A request to the young heroes in training, in particular, Natsumi. Supernova’s request was a remedy to help solve the problem of the guards' focus, but it caused a distraction. With the group of thugs, she would have to pick a target that would also draw the attention of the other thugs, which would leave her with one glaring option: the largest of the group. With her target selected, she would respond to SuperNova.
“Understood, distraction; I’m on it.”
With her target selected, she would need to find a way to cause a commotion without necessarily exposing her presence. But her mind would work fast, much faster than some would expect, as her eyes would quickly find their way to a duffle bag that had been stuffed with loose bills. It wasn’t directly in the thug's line of sight, making it perfect for her plan.
“Yes, I’m ready to go.”
She would respond quite eagerly, as she would leap from her perch on the door sill. For this plan, Natsumi would need to be the smallest she could manage, moving down quickly and unnoticed by the thugs. She would hover just above the duffle and out of sight. She would look up, watching on as he carelessly shuffled money and lost jewels into the bag before she got to work, slowly unzipping the duffle bag as it went unnoticed. It was a delicate movement and one that was off just perfectly, leaving the insides of the bag exposed.
Watching on for just a bit longer to time her movements perfectly, Natsumi would wait until the brute threw another duffle bag, quickly moving into action. She would grab the bag at its counters and forcefully throw the bag at one of the thugs who stood beside the hostages. The force would easily be enough to knock an unsuspecting combatant off their feet, but that wasn’t the main focus of the attack. As the bag hit the thug, it would force the lost bills into the air, spilling out in hopes of confusing the thugs as well as causing a bit of discourse. While in the commotion, she would quickly follow up with a quirk and deliberate strike to the head of the thug she had thrown the bag at with enough force to knock him out before returning to the door sill from before.

Arriving at a door, Natsumi could overhear the voice of SuperNova seeping through; she had reached the door connecting to the front, and she would need to keep herself hidden. The door hadn’t been fully closed and was just open enough for a sliver of natural light from outside to spill in; it was likely left open by the thugs who had made their way to the back of the store to get the larger safe open. Taking a deep breath before acting, she would give the door a slow and gentle push, trying her best not to make the move subtle in case one of the criminals looked in her direction.
Her wings fluttering, she would make her way up to the very edge of the door, making sure she had just enough space to slip through at the door's counter, before gently landing on the door’s sill to take in both the general layout of the room and, more importantly, the number of hostages and thugs. The hostages had been grouped together with a thug on both the left and right sides, two thugs who stood at the front, keeping the authorities and SuperNova at bay, and another much larger thug who was aimlessly pushing money into a bag.
Her second objective was the wellbeing of the hostages. There were a few cuts and bruises on who she could only assume to be a security guard who was unfortunately overpowered, but nothing else she could with her quick glance. They were also admittedly scared, which was fully understandable. Natsumi would hold steadily, giving the room one final count before waiting for the booming of SuperNova’s rambles, choosing to relay her information between the sounds of his voice to hopefully mask the quiet and soft sound of her own.
“Four hostages. Between two criminals. Another two criminals are on either side of the window. And criminal in the back stuffing bags with money; he’s pretty big.”

Natsumi would prepare herself to speak but suddenly fall silent as the duo would overhear the conversation going on in a neighboring room. Although it was muffled, it was enough for them to hear the topic and gather a few crucial points of information. First, the hostages had been slipped; from the voices they heard, there would be no telling the exact number of people in the room, but they would know that there would at least be two. Given that they had already opened fire on police outside, it was safe to say that they would likely soon use violence as a way to persuade the hostages into giving in to their demands.
The second was that the information might have put the manager in an equally dangerous position, as the odds were high that he would move to get the manager into the room. But that would give them the perfect opportunity to plan an ambush if the criminal left the room unattended for even a moment.
“And with the information he just gave up, they’ll probably start looking for the manager.”
Natsumi would whisper back as she hovered just above Farrin’s shoulder. With the door slightly opened, he would quickly peek in, doing a quick head count to assess the situation before relaying the information to SuperNova and her. There were two criminals and one hostage, meaning an ambush was now a much more dangerous plan than before. Even if it was successful, there would still be a chance that the firearm could go off.
The sudden shout of SuperNova attempting to mask the use of his communicator was less than ideal for Natsumi, as she would flinch and lean away from him, almost as if instead of yelling through a communicator, he was instead speaking over her shoulder. After the shouting, he made a slight adjustment to their plan. Farrin would prepare himself to dispatch the criminals in the room, and Natsumi would push on ahead to count. She would make an audible humming sound in response to answering in a whispered voice.
“Understood.”
She would smile and give Farrin a thumbs up before heading off towards the front of the store.
“Thank you; we’ll get these hostages out no problem.”
Using the commotion happening in front of the store as a guide, Natsumi would fly towards it.

With the police now behind cover and the trio looking down from overhead, there would be an almost tense air of silence. The criminals had already shown they were ready for the conflict to escalate to violence if necessary, as their rounds hadn’t struck any officers and their intentions were clear. Farrin would also answer with Natsumi; they were both prepared to act; this is what it means to be a hero. SuperNova would avert his gaze from the unfolding situation for only a moment to look back at his students as Farrin asked an important question: What was the plan? It was always said that the eyes could tell a lot about a person; in this case, Natsumi’s eyes mirrored her determination.
SuperNova would begin to lay out their plan of attack in this situation; with him acting as a diversion, the duo would slip in through the back, which sounded easy enough. Count the hostages, then relay the information to SuperNova and wait for his signal to begin the rescue. But of course, even the most sound plans left a small margin for error, which he has also accounted for, giving them the option to defend themselves against the assailants if necessary to keep the hostages or themselves safe from danger.
For this objective, both her ability to shift her size and speed would be an asset, something she was sure that both SuperNova and Farrin were well aware of. Nodding her head in agreement with the plan, the duo was ready to begin.
“Understood.”
She would respond as Farrin would wave her on the shoulder, and Natsumi would comply, following closely behind him as he jumped down to the neighboring street.
“Right behind you.”
In perfect timing, the boom of SuperNova’s voice would pull any attention away from the duo quickly and quietly, slipping into the alleyway behind the shop. Arriving at the back, the duo would be met with a large door, presumably well-locked from the other side. Above the door would be a small horizontal window with security bars; the window was just barely opened. With stealth being paramount, Natsumi would move to the front, flying her way up to the small window and shrinking herself down as much as she could, giving herself just enough space to slip through windows as well as get through the security bars.
While still on the windowsill, she would do her best to check the surroundings. Behind the door was a hallway with a few rooms branching off from it. She was certain that the hostage would be kept somewhere, at least fairly close to the criminals. Waiting a few moments to ensure she would be caught in the act, she would leap from the windowsill, hovering down from the back side of the door to unlock it, increasing her size just enough for her to comfortably grab and open the door without too much struggling as to not alert anyone.
“The rear door is open, and we’re inside.”
She would radio into SuperNova before turning her attention back to Farrin.
“The coast is clear.”

With the duo both lagging behind the pro hero, some would find it a bit intimidating, but not Natsumi; she saw it more as something to strive for. SuperNova’s speed was even more impressive considering the fact that he hadn’t even been using his quirk, simply his own raw strength, to propel himself forward. In her own mind, she questioned shrinking down even further to lessen the gap, but at what cost? She saw this more as a test of her comfortability with her own quirk and endurance, a test she would gladly accept. She could tell that Farrin was also in agreement by the smile she could just barely make out while flying just a bit above him.
They learned more, and they would continue to grow until they became the heroes they were meant to be. And as Farrin would begin to pick up the pace, so would Natsumi, the flapping of her wings increasing as she would dart forward as their instructor eagerly awaited them. The gap was closed for only a moment as he once again took to the sky, this time giving himself a small boost from his flames to propel himself a few blocks forward. Not only was his physical strength beyond impressive, but the control of his quirk was also almost unworldly.
Moments after his leap, the pro-hero's voice could be heard coming through over the communication device they had been fitted with before leaving on their patrol. Something was happening up ahead, and with a nod of acknowledgment between Farrin and Natsumi, they would quickly move to the building where SuperNova had decided to perch as she looked down at a shop below. The shop in question sells jewelry. Shouting could be overheard as Natsumi would do her best to peek over the ledge without giving herself away but would quickly jerk back at the sound of gunshots, taking cover much like the police had.
As a hero, it was a bit embarrassing, as she would look over to SuperNova and force a bit of a smile before peaking back over again. SuperNova would speak to them while remaining laser-focused on the task at hand, and Natsumi would do her best to try and emulate what he was doing, although she wasn’t as stoic in her positioning as he was. With the situation at hand, Natsumi would feel a certain rush to take over as SuperNova asked if they were ready. In her mind, something almost shifted: she was no longer the daughter of politicians; she was a hero. Taking in a deep breath and holding for a few moments to prepare herself, she would nod and give an audible hum in response.
“I’m ready.”
Natsumi did well to fight her typical urge to shout, but her intentions were still clear; she was fully prepared to begin, dare she say, even a little bit excited?

Natsumi would listen intently as Farrin would answer her question, and just as quickly as her dreams of candy dominance had arisen, they would be dashed just the same, or at least partially. Without the full twenty-four hours, she would have to operate in a shorter time frame than she initially expected; perhaps she would have to employ help. After a while, she would find herself getting flustered at the realization that she had put far too much thought into a hypothetical scenario. Shaking the thoughts free from her head, she would give Farrin another smile as one last thought would run through her mind: If a hero were to wear their own costume, would that technically count as trick or treating?
Farrin's second answer to entering the building would come just in time to stop the candy-centered thoughts from spiraling out of control yet again; he wanted to enter the temple. Natsumi would give him a gentle nod and hum as they made their way inside the temple. As they walked the grounds, they would be met by hospitality that had almost become synonymous with the Japanese people, the smiles of people both young and old grating them both. Natsumi would respond and return both waves and small polite bows to anyone who was gracious enough to offer them some and even the few people who hadn't; it was always important to treat everyone with respect.
As they would continue to move around the grounds, they would eventually reach the main center of the temple, which had amassed quite the crowd inside, undeniably all offering their prayers. Natsumi's warm smile grew simply at the sight of it, and as Farrin would stop just at the border, she would stop as well, assuming that attempting to enter the main temple might be too much for him to experience all in one day; perhaps that would simply return later, when it was much quieter and less populated, so he could have his chance to explore unhindered. She herself would pause and, in the moment of silence, bow her head, giving thanks for the adventures she had thus far and the many more to come. She was truly happy that she was able to come out and enjoy this day, even more so as she would have someone who would bring her through and get to experience the words of Golden Week for the first time.
"It really is."
She would respond after a short pause.
"But we've got to get going; there is so much more to see."
Natsumi would grin as she would eagerly head towards the exit, more excited to show Farrin the wonders of her homeland.

Farrin’s answer to her question was Halloween. Natsumi would find his answer to be a bit strange, but it was only due to her lack of knowledge of American culture. Just as Farrin sought to learn about Japanese culture, she would take the opportunity to learn about a portion of his. Whereas in Japan it was mostly seen as a holiday for some to wear costumes, either as a way to have fun or to attend parties, in America it was slightly different. With the mention of candy at every door, her eyes would almost seem to sparkle with the thought, although she was probably much too old to be seen as old enough to enjoy such things. She could only imagine the haul of candy that the most dedicated would receive—mounds upon mounds—enough to last a year, with the only glaring issue being how they would manage to carry it all. With the thought of this, she began to wonder and found herself enthusiastically asking questions.
"That sounds way better than Halloween here; I can only imagine all the candy! Is it an all-day celebration?"
Natsumi began to speak as if she were planning her own day out for an American Halloween—picture bags of candy she would be able to collect within an hour or even two—let alone the thought of having a full day. She imagined prowling the streets from sunup to far past sundown, collecting as much as she could carry before returning her candy fortune to her stash at home and then turning to set out again.
The pace of their stroll would eventually slow as they passed by a large temple, with Farrin stopping as he stood outside its gates. Natsumi could help but smile warmly as she watched him inspect the temple from afar. His words were enough to remind her that not everyone has time like this to decompress and have a moment to give thanks for what they have. She would give a hum of approval and a light nod as she turned her attention back to the temple. She had been to dozens of temples throughout Japan with her parents, and everyone she had ever seen managed to produce their own beauty for anyone who was willing to look for it. Where some people might just see old structures, she saw a testament to the cultural roots of her nation, something important that should always be cherished. She was almost certain that there were temples like this all over the globe and hoped that people would manage to visit them for even just a moment of peace, but she also knew that villainy had no borders or safe places.
"Do you want to go inside? Or would you rather save that for next time?"
She’d ask as she watched a few of the older members of the temple shuffle by the door, pausing to politely wave the duo.

Their last performance was exemplary, so much so that they were offered the chance to be part of a patrol. But of course, they were still students and weren’t allowed to do this; they accompanied a well-distinguished hero and professor for the UAU academy, SuperNova. This would be Natsumi’s first official outing in the streets of Japan as a hero, and having him show them the ropes would give her a bit of comfort, which she would try to focus on more than the idea of how childish some might perceive her costume to be; perhaps it was the theme for a change? An interesting thought, but one she would have to revisit at a later date, for now she needed to focus on the task at hand.
For their first patrol, they would be given the streets of Tokyo. Relatively speaking, they were given the safest of areas to start, which would be the best way to ease the duo into the swing of things. They were also under orders not to engage with combatants if something was to arise, but even Natsumi herself had decided that that order was much more situational than their chaperone would have liked to admit. They were, however, given the freedom to escort civilians, a small but major necessity that allowed the hero to fully focus on the threat of need.
"Yeah! I didn’t expect him to be so hard to keep up with!"
She would shout out as she was beginning to notice an unexpected issue: keeping up with SuperNova. He was by no means a small man, and with his ample physique, he easily lounged from building to building. His strength was enough to keep them trailing behind, even with her flight and Farrin’s speed. The gap was becoming so large that even the hero would yell out to them. In response, she would nod and shrink her size, if only just a bit, to keep up as she shouted out.
"Yes, sir!"

The feeling of warmth would grow as she would find herself met with the memories of her and her parents trying to blend into the crowds. Their attempts were always quite miserably received, though most would allow them to continue uninterrupted; after all, the Golden Week was a time for people to strengthen bonds with family and close friends. Of course, as politicians, they were told to try their best to avoid that level of exposure, but it was always what Natsumi wanted—to just go out and be normal—a life she always wanted but was unsure of how exactly she would live it if given the option. The ridiculous hats and sunglasses, moving covertly to avoid any long stares, and the skeleton crew of bodyguards who, despite being told to take the day off, insisted that they wouldn’t let the family out of their sights It took her a while to realize the reasoning behind their loyalty to her family, but once she did, it all made sense: above the pay, her parents often treated them like family members. Even to this day, she refers to a few members of her original security detail as uncles, aunts, and cousins. In her reminiscing, she could help but let out a small chuckle before she responded.
"Some people understood the meaning of the holiday and chose to leave us in peace, and some didn’t. For the most part, my father would let me pick out ridiculous disguises for me and a few guards who were like family to us and who never wanted to leave our sides; we would all just have fun."
Farrin was correct in his comment: for most heroes, without their costumes, they could easily go unnoticed. One of the benefits of being a hero was always the ability to hide your face and, instead of being a person, simply exist as a symbol, leaving your professional and personal lives completely independent of one another. But in her case, her lives were already intertwined; there could be no separation—a stark reminder. All of these thoughts would bubble over as she would wonder about Farrin’s time with his parents; did he have a favorite time to spend with them for the short time he spent together? And what was his mother’s costume like? Were her lives separate? All questions that she would find a bit insensitive to ask at the moment, except for one.
"Did you have any favorite holidays?

"That’s right!"
Natsumi would respond happily to Farrin’s responding question. Although he was just beginning to learn the culture, customs, and traditions of Japan, his knowledge was better than that of more foreigners who frequently visited or even chose to move to the island.
"The Golden Week is made up of four holidays: Showa Day, which is the birthday of an old emperor; Constitution Memorial Day, which celebrates the day the Constitution was enacted; and Greenery Day, which is a special time for people to commune with nature and be thankful for all that it has provided. Then there is Children’s Day, which is a day to celebrate the happiness of children and their personalities."
She would give a bit of information about each day, but of course there was more she could have added. All but Shōwa Day had some kind of custom that they could take part in, from building tours to raising carp-shaped windsocks. This being her favorite vacation time of the year and Greenery Day being amongst one of her favorite holidays, she could go on forever with this to say about the holidays, but she found it best to not overload Farrin with a bunch of trivia all at once. She was certain he would be able to retain it all, but she didn’t want to pull his attention away from enjoying the moment, as this was something she was struggling to learn herself.
With her upbringing, she was almost always told to be vigilant—not that it was necessarily a bad thing with cameras and reporters at every corner, but after a while, it became impossible to completely turn off, regardless of her setting. Natsumi would chime in again.
"Today there’ll be quite a few people visiting shrines and museums to pay respect to Emperor Shōwa."

Again, the young Natsumi would find herself in the company of Farrin for another thrilling adventure. Today’s adventure is the Golden Week celebration, another festive gathering that she would have a lot of knowledge about. The Golden Week was often seen as not just a vacation for the younger generation who were still in school but also for the generations ahead, as most companies also shut their doors to allow their employees to enjoy some well-deserved time off. The streets would not only be littered with people of all ages but also with the sound of music. The music of choice is jazz, a Golden Week staple. And although the duo wouldn’t be as close to the true heart of the music, which resides in Osaka, the locals in and around Tokyo would do their best to try to liven up the festivities.
Although they were on a bit of a vacation, it was always a hero’s job to remain vigilant, and as such, Natsumi would still be keeping up with her training and her studying, but this outing was a chance for her to relax, if only for a bit, and enjoy herself. This would ultimately work in her favor, as her desire to become the class president had been overwhelmed with her amount of work, which she herself would be far too embarrassed to admit, but she was certain that after this adventure she would find a balance in her schedule to continue her aspirations.
As the duo walked further into the heart of Tokyo, they would be met by the sites of people both young and old enjoying themselves, whether it was simply karaoke or people simply having a few drinks with friends and taking time to catch up. Natsumi couldn’t help but smile as she thought back. This was one of her most favorite holidays, as after the initial small opening ceremony held to start off the week, she would have a few consecutive days with her parents with little to no worries about them having to go off to the office unless it was an emergency.
"You’re welcome. I couldn’t let you come out by yourself!"
Natsumi would return with a warm smile as she responded.
"Yes, this was one of my favorite times. I didn’t have to worry about my parents having to run off to the office to do any last-minute work."

Tugging at her selected string, Natsumi would be met by the jumping of a bag of candy. The bag would be on the smaller side, containing a few of both hard and soft candies, undeniably grouped together by the owner of the booth. It would be enough to give her a bit of excitement, as she would grin a bit, looking over to Farrin as he pulled his first string. Much like her own, his first pull would also be tied to a bundle of candy bars. In her eyes, his prize was well selected, but it wasn’t as well received by him, as he would let a small profanity slip out as he fished around in his pockets yet again for yen to cover another go at the game.
Natsumi’s slight grin would eventually turn into a worried smile as she realized he had clearly had the perfect prize or prizes already selected in his mind and wouldn’t leave until they were his. The game attendant would hand the bag of candy over to her as he took the fee from Farrin and waited in anticipation for his next turn. She kept her eyes on Farrin as she would untie the bag, taking out a small hard candy before unwrapping it and putting it into her mouth, watching blankly as he would continue to pull at strings.
It would seem that the first few pulls would only serve to grow his mountain of candy, something that she was certain was becoming frustrating to Farrin. As he continued to pull strings, Natsumi would continue to eat candy until she had finally found her way to the bottom of her small but enjoyable bag. She would find herself tempted to pull for another string as well to get another bag of candy, but with the thought of karaage, she would have to control her hunger for what she hoped was only going to be a bit longer.
As time passed, the number of strings would begin to dwindle as he continued, with enough candy to easily give anyone a tummy ache and potentially make a dentist salivate at the payments for cleanings and cavities. But he would eventually pull a string for a stuffed animal, a dragon, and she couldn’t help but feel a bit of excitement radiate from him, even if he didn’t show it. She couldn’t help but cheer at the victory, jumping up and down a few times.
"Yay, you did it."
Her celebration would be cut short as he would continue to pay and pull strings. It was enough to raise a bit of intrigue as she would look for what was left to win; perhaps his plan was to win all of the sweets, she thought, completely overlooking the other stuffed toy. She would watch in anticipation yet again as he continued until he finally pulled the string attached to the stuff fairy toy. Once he was given his prizes, he would stow one away in a bag before handing the fairy toy to Natsumi. Her eyes would light up, and her cheeks would turn a light but warm red.
"For me?"
She would ask as she took the toy in her hands, taking a moment to listen to his reasoning before hugging it tightly and smiling, making an audible humming sound in agreement.
"Thank you, Farrin! Yeah, Karaage time!"

As the duo approached the set of booths, Natsumi would be surprised that instead of stopping for karaage, Farrin would instead opt for games. It seemed strange, but she would chalk it up to Farrin’s eagerness to fully explore the festival grounds and everything they had to offer; after all, too much food could just serve to slow them down, mostly her. As they walked, he would eventually make his decision on their next stop a bit of an odd choice, she would think for him to make, but she would be slightly excited, nonetheless.
The game chosen, Senbon Biki, is less of a game of skill and more of a game of chance. She would walk along with Farrin as they approached; as expected, the booth was almost completely empty as they had just opened, and only one other person would stand ahead of them. The booth would be absolutely covered in strings, lassoed with a varying group of prizes to win, from small snacks to medium- to large-sized animal friends. But during the approach, Natsumi found herself more focused on the lettering of the sigh and the bundles of hanging string as she tried to devise a plan to help her get something interesting.
"Senbon Biki, it is!"
Natsumi would chirp happily as she found her focus on something other than attendants. She was, in fact, so focused that she didn’t notice Farrin’s quick dive into his pocket to fish out a few yen to cover the duo until it was too late. But with the price of the game paid for, it was now up to them to choose their strings. She would let out a bit of a hum as she studied the strings for a moment or two before looking at the prizes below. Reaching out slowly, she would grab hold of a knob, taking another moment before pulling a string free from it.
"I’ll pick this one!"

Natsumi’s smile would remain warm and cheerful even as she ate, as the food was delicious, but so was the company. And to think that if it hadn’t been for his invitation, she may have opted not to go and instead found some miscellaneous tasks to take care of at the school, something that would allow her to greet the returning students. Her idea of the karaage stall was well received by Farrin, which was a good sign. She had learned something important: he was not a big fan of squid; perhaps it was more of an acquired taste that she would have to help him work up to.
She would begin to leisurely stroll towards the stall, trying to keep pace with Farrin. Until they would get close enough for her to come to a stop again as she looked around a bit. More booths had begun to open as he asked what else the festival had to offer—perfect timing! There would be two booths nearby: Super Ball Sukui and Kingyo Sukui. There would also be a few more games a bit further off from what we were also finishing setting up, such as Yo Yo Tsuri, Senbon Biki, and even a target shooting game. Gesturing towards them, she would respond.
"Yes, there are a lot of games here. They’re all just getting set up though; we are a bit early, but on the plus side, that means we can be the first in line!"
Natsumi would exclaim. She would rush towards any particular game but would wait for Farrin to choose which one seemed to interest him the most as she was met with another fond memory of the past. This memory was of her being quite terrible at Kingyo Sukui as a child, with dozens of broken scoopers and not a single goldfish. She even remembered her parents doing their best to fight back a bratty tantrum; it was enough to get a lighthearted laugh out of her looking back at it now.
