Wow, U.A. was just what Akagi was expecting! One of the first things to happen on orientation day involved a chair sailing through the air and straight toward the pro hero standing up front! While Akagi was not so eager to jump into what could potentially devolve into punishments being handed out, he was more than satisfied sitting off to the side and watching what came of it. Fortunately, it seemed the man up front wasn't quick to anger, and was more than understanding about circumstances Akagi truthfully had zero clue about. But this did bring forth an important question! If he had an animal mutation, could he throw around chairs freely?[break][break]
That seemed like the only big disturbance to happen, Akagi happily scanned the room, through the sea of many unrecognizable faces; some stood out more than others, while others were just as plain looking as himself. He wondered who he'd be in a class with, who he might interact with over his years here, and who might become his bitter rival! Hmm, maybe that last one could be avoided. He wasn't particularly interested in making enemies, per se, but it usually happened when he pushed too far with a personality that conflicted with his own.[break][break]
As soon as the slips of paper underneath the seat were made known, Akagi eagerly reached for his and looked at it, bubbling with excitement; "Six!" Calling out to no one in particular, the senior who was to lead his group hadn't even made themselves known. But six was pretty close to one, right? So that had to count for something! Or maybe it was nine...? He had no clue! Maybe he'd just choose whichever group looked more interesting, then? Such a devious plan! To potentially go against what number was given to him. Or accidentally follow what was intended.[break][break]

✗ dense Dense, careless, and idiotic are a few ways to describe Akagi. He's one to act first and think several steps later, yet faces every consequence with intoxicating optimism, much to the dismay of whoever he ropes into dealing with the aftermath of his poorly thought-out decisions. Whilst critical thinking and seriousness is not lost on him, he'll often try to avoid confrontation and anything to do with his deeper emotions, and many of his whims are simply him trying to live his youth to its fullest.[break][break] He's decently protective to whomever he has clung onto as a 'friend' and sometimes becomes nearsighted as to their misdeeds or problematic actions, which makes conflicts between friends of his a hell hole to navigate. While he won't be covering for murder, he'll find himself sticking around bad influences in fear of upsetting them should he leave, even though he knows they probably wouldn't care.[break][break] Akagi has a love for social gatherings and dragging along whoever will join him to whatever he's in the mood for. He particularly enjoys arcades, as he always seems to spend way more time in them than he plans on, followed by a love for baking. While he's not a bad student, it wouldn't be far off to assume that he has a dislike for assignments and work, and will leave things until last minute unless his grades truly seem dire. While he's a bright kid, his grades don't exactly show it. [attr="class","sectimgr"]  APPEARANCE[attr="class","sectdesc"]The first thing that stands out about Akagi is his white hair. Past that, his bubbly appearance naturally draws eyes to his otherwise average frame, standing at 5'9, and maroon eyes contrast his pale skin. His wardrobe consists mostly of casual clothes and he maybe has some formal wear from his high-school days of being forced to attend fancy shmancy family gatherings, but he's been mostly exempt from that since his enrollment into U.A. [attr="class","sectimgl"]  HISTORY[attr="class","sectdesc"]Akagi wasn't always planning on becoming a hero. While he idolized them as much as any other kid, he never felt a strong feeling towards becoming one- it seemed like a lot of hard work, and he was always a slacker at heart. He'd rather put in just enough work to be able to maintain a lifestyle in which he could continue to enjoy his pasttimes without work becoming overbearing.[break][break]
Naturally, age changes your views. Since a young age, his parents weren't the best- which was putting it lightly. Whilst never physically harmed, his home life was always chaotic, and there was always an air of tension between both his mother and father; he didn't quite understand it as a kid, but he always felt something was wrong with how his household was. He was always at the end of their verbal frustrations, seemingly a blight on what was once their spotless lives, and ultimately the rift that was causing them to grow apart. His parents officially split sometime while he was in highschool, and that only caused his overbearing personality towards others to grow, running away from his anxiety-filled home life by sticking around late after school, wasting his time away with friends who didn't mind his insistent pestering.[break][break]
While he's not so stupid as to believe he can save everyone like him directly, he had gotten far more into hero culture during this time, and it was something that got him through his day-to-day. He kept his expectations going into the course small, just to give a single person hope. After heading to U.A., he doesn't talk much with his parents anymore, who maintain a very awkward relationship with him; shockingly, after he left home, the relationship between his parents didn't magically mend itself despite what they had said to him oh so many times.[break][break]
Still with much to work out in his personal life, and blind to what's coming next in his life, he enters U.A. with a childish goal that seemingly drives his motivation. At the very least, the people are pretty damn interesting there. By absorbing blows, Akagi is effectively granted Constitution equal to the quirk's rank when absorbing blows, and can empower his blows after receiving attacks. He must react to any attacks he receives to absorb them through the activation of his quirk and he can only deliver empowered blows after receiving an attack. If he receives too strong of an attack, or doesn't release his stored energy after taking a few hits, he'll enter into a "kinetic lock," which makes his joints stiff and difficult to move, and removes his ability to activate his quirk for a short period.
