Rhea looked at the woman's hand, taking a breath before reaching over to take it. These kinds of things were risky, but it was a little late for that.
Rhea would at the very least keep an eye out as Olivia got the window open once they were on the roof, her tongue flicking out as she glanced back once. That was a useful tool, not to mention technique...perhaps she should look into that in the future. She'd follow behind as Olivia slipped through, adjusting herself to make as little noise as possible. Approaching the railing of the catwalk she cautiously looked down, seeing various different cargo boxes as well as a few guards. Well, assuming this girl doesn't intend to be sneaky, I can just wait for her to make the first move, she thinks, keeping Olivia in her peripheral. This is her plan, and I'll let her hang herself if it comes to that. I might be able to figure out a way out the back door if it comes to it. Unpleasant, but I can make it work. 0 Victims

The frown on Rhea's face was evident; the mask she wore, while flamboyant, didn't cover the bottom half of her face. She was not a combatant, and the suit she wore was just another ruse, another trick. A way to hide her identity.
"You were planning on coming here, with or without me," she states, keeping close and her voice down. "Fair warning, I'm not a combatant. I operate on subterfuge. Whatever you want me to do, I won't be capable." Rhea wasn't fond of being open like this, but teamwork was sometimes a factor in things like this. She got along well with Lilith because they had an understanding, and both knew they could take and give to the other to make something work. Rhea was regretting this decision to work with Olivia, but maybe she could make a plan around the plan... 0 Victims

The Oasis Lounge exposed Rhea to all kinds of criminality, and on a few occasions she did see the aftermath of a deal gone wrong or a hit in the alleyways. The brutality of it all made her sick, but in a manner it reminded Rhea of a Roman emperor who ate poison to build up an immunity. This situation was no different.
She still couldn't help but feel nauseous as she put the gun away, beginning to step out of the alley at a brisk pace. "Money poorly spent. Not only does alcohol cloud your judgement, I also don't drink." This was a lie, but this woman didn't need to know that. As she walked she looked at her hand, noticing a slight buildup of powder from the gun's discharge. Rustling around in her purse she found a small bottle of hand sanitizer for situations like this. "I wouldn't mind a cut of the spoils, however. You know for my troubles." 0 Victims

Damn, did she mess up? Rhea played back the conversation in her head, looking where she might've gone wrong. Maybe it was her quirk...but Rhea needed something, anything, to hook this woman. Just a little too late she realized she had gotten herself over her head.
She tilted her head, feigning confusion before letting out a small laugh. "I know a few card tricks, but I'm no magician. Neither do I-" Oh, so she was being cut off. That was nice. "If I wanted to trap you I'd pick something grander to steal-" Wait. Maybe that was what was going on. Rhea was deft at making others do whatever she wanted, making them thing they were doing so of their own volition. There was a lot to leverage there, though, and she could abuse basic human emotions for it. This woman, however...it wasn't intentional, but she was doing the same tactic on Rhea. And Rhea just blundered right into it.
She could walk away right now. Rhea didn't know what kind of heist this woman was planning, but she wasn't keen on being a pawn. There would be no harm if she did, but she didn't know how vindictive Olivia was. There was also the little issue of, in walking away, she wouldn't get what she needed.
Two hours...Rhea wanted to go to the point immediately, but her own paranoia made her resist. If she was caught snooping it might cause more problems for herself. Instead, she'd take the time to change, to find a hiding place, and attempt to plan. In time she'd meet Olivia...though the suit and the mask might make her second guess that this was the same person. 0 Victims

That was mildly disappointing, but Rhea could work with that. Knowledge was power, after all. However, this did leave Rhea with a disadvantage. Without some form of libido to leverage she would potentially have to lean on her quirk, and based on how this woman was Rhea had to tread a fine line; say the wrong thing or push too hard using it and she may catch on she might be manipulated. Don't do enough, and it was possible what few talents she had would not be sufficient enough to get what she wanted. And, to make matters worse, she almost seemed to be of the same ilk of Rhea. A thief. If Rhea intended to steal something from here she'd do it herself, but she was too green; stealing from normal people, maybe even heroes and police, was easy. There was no risk of retribution outside of jailtime. Stealing from villains though, and worse villains that did business with other villains? While there was no code of conduct Rhea always assumed there would be dire consequences for something such as that.
Still, Rhea kept the smile on her face, keeping her bag close. "I normally have something to barter, but in this case I don't think any of the goods I have would either fit or look good on you.~" It was a petty jab, but this woman didn't seem like the type to care. But if there was one thing Rhea noticed, it was what motivated this lady. She took a partial step forward, lowering her voice as she engaged her quirk: "I have come upon a nice sum of money,~" she says, keeping just the right tone while trying to keep out any cattiness or sultriness. It wasn't a big push, but it should at least hit the right button. "If you can procure something small, simple, easy to use and conceal, then I wouldn't mind tossing a few yen your way. How does 70k sound?" It was a stupid amount of money, but with the score from Rui she managed to pay up enough on the bills that she didn't have to worry too much. It was well within her budget, too. She just had to be careful... 0 Victims

Ah, yes. Closed off, clipped response, she had to be someone in the area that knew what really went down. Rhea's smile grew a little, and recognizing what she was doing moved slightly off to the side enough to not obscure the woman's vision, but also enough to stay in the peripheral. To add to the nonthreatening factor, Rhea kept her hands in plain sight; last thing she wanted to do was convey the wrong message and get stabbed. Stabbing meant scars, and while Lilith might find that attractive Rhea didn't like the thought of them on herself. "Well, I have a talented tongue," she says, the forked tip flicking out briefly as she giggled a bit. "Take that as you will.~" That might have been too strong, but connotation was up to the recipient. The bigger challenge was asking for what she needed.
"To keep it simple, I require hardware. Nothing custom or fancy, but something a little more potent than mace." She tilted her head, looking thoughtful. "Mace is effective against normal miscreants, but anyone more determined wouldn't be affected. I heard this part of Tokyo sold something more...formidable." She wasn't sure if the woman caught her meaning, but she seemed smarter than most of the gorillas around here. She just had to have a little faith. 0 Victims

Well, this was unexpected. Rhea was more concerned about getting herself out, but if this small gang was causing problems then they were in for a ride. Rhea was no stranger to different genre's of music, and out of all the more popular kinds rock was something she could at least tolerate. What she wasn't expecting was the entirety of the alleyway to turn into a concert, nor was she expecting explosive dust to start getting on everything. It was a time like this she had to make some decisions, and she didn't like where this was going.
Taking a step forward, she pointed the gun at the first man's groin, timing the trigger pull with one of the explosions further in. Immediately the man dropped, screaming as he held onto what was left of his manhood. In a flash Rhea turned the pistol towards the other, setting the now hot barrel just under his chin. "Do me a favor, darling, and face the wall. You don't want what happened just then at all.~" All color had drained from his face, and did as instructed. She looked back down the alley as the other thugs dove for cover to get away. "You're quite overt," she says flatly, slowly backing up. "Shall I leave the rest to you? I'd prefer to not deal with the police today, I have too much on my plate." 0 Victims

Rhea fully put Rui into the 'crazy' category. Not just for the killing comment, but also the boast. It made her wonder how she even lived outside of this life. Rhea didn't exactly have a sheath for her knife, so she'd just rely on Rui to do all the stabbing for her. As such, she picked up one of the briefcases and nodded. "Try to stay close. The less attention we grab, the better." And with that she was off, beginning to move through the city. Rhea didn't exactly know where she was headed, but as long as they got away from the cordon that was sure to be falling on the area then they had a good chance of getting away. And once they did, they could go their separate ways.
It was times like this she missed Lilith and her shenanigans. At least with her brand of insanity it could be melded with Rhea's plots. Rui...well, Rhea would have to be careful in the future. 0 Victims

There were many things in this world that Rhea didn't like, and one of the big ones was guns. They were loud, they were clunky, they attracted too much attention, and so many other things that Rhea could go on and on about. With her getting more and more involved with her criminal side, though...it would help to have something a little more effective than a knife on her person. The incident with the Mummy still had her shook, and she was just glad she came prepared with her disguise like she did. It was a brutal reminder of the world she was getting involved in, and having some kind of equalizer would go a long way. At least, so she hoped.
She had heard of a small black market in the Bay area, so she decided to run a repeat with her suit, putting it on up to her waist, securing the arms around her and putting on tights and a sundress to cover anything else up. The boots and mask went in her purse, along with a spare bag she could tighten around herself and her knife. She didn't know if she'd need any of this, but it was better to be safe than sorry. She had charm, she had looks, and she had a quirk that could bend anyone to her will. Unfortunately, she was just a little garden snake compared to the raptors down in this area of the city. She decided to go for the, "lost, but I know what I'm doing," expression, walking with confidence most of the time but in reality she didn't know what she was doing or where she was going. At least, until she spotted a fairly attractive, but mysterious looking woman. She didn't seem too friendly, but maybe Rhea could change that a little. "Hi! Sorry to be a bother, but I was wondering if you could help me out..." 0 Victims

Rhea pulled the mask from her bag, slipping it over her face. She had done away with the cheap elastic on it, opting for a string tied to a snug fit. She even went the extra mile to doing a slight redecoration of it, making it more masquerade like. As she listened to Rui's counteroffer she put her hair up, thinking about what might really be Rui's goal here. By this point Rhea had ruled that this girl was insane, and you never knew what was going on in the heads of crazy people.
"I would explain, but then we'd be here all night." She put the hood up, the entire ensemble doing a good job of concealing her identity. "Let's just say I live many lives, and I don't like them bleeding into one another." A pause. "Mixing. On stage I go by 'Rose', but when I feel a bit more frisky and I feel like being bad, I go by 'Siren'. That is who you see before you." A grin crossed her face, pulling out a more form-fitting bag form her purse that conveniently stashed all the items she had just ditched. "Preferably, I'd like to take hold of Malachite's information network. He seemed reasonably connected. I can give you a private show if you want, but I'm looking for people. Two, specific ones. And if you do a good job, you can join me when I go have a chat with them..." 0 Victims

Ah, just another fight between the poor and destitute. It was a brutal reminder that she could have had this after she was stranded, but that was neither here nor there. She was uninvolved, and was just going to keep going. That was, until one of the combatants called out to her in...the most archaic way ever. She had drunks hit on her in more eloquent ways than how she was just addressed. Based on the accent, though, that woman wasn't from around here. And what made this even worse, two of the individuals looked in her direction, one with a wolfish grin on his face. Oh no, even if I run now this won't turn out good for me, she thinks, looking left and right before taking a step into the alleyway. She was not a fighter, relying more on wit and subterfuge to get her way. However, after recent events Rhea had taken to carrying a bit more potent: a Derringer. It was not effective at range, it didn't fit in the hand good, and it wasn't particularly deadly even if it hit the target, but a gun was a gun and it evoked a primal fear in anyone that knew what they were looking at.
Rhea was banking on that as she pulled it from her purse, an evil smile crossing her face as she looked at the first two that started her way and aimed. "Deciding to embrace oblivion, hm? I wonder what your heart tastes like.~" She dumped what she could into her quirk, mostly aiming to intimidate to drive the thugs away. It helped that she did have murderous intent behind the comment; death was no stranger to her, and she embraced that fact. 0 Victims

Rhea looked over at Rui as she entered, frown present on her face as she watched the exchange. In a way, some of this made sense: Mallachite didn't have a good handle on his people, Rhea included. Then again, this made her think that both herself and Rui were the outliers and not the norm. She was new after all.
Keyword, was. The shot and subsequent events after shocked Rhea for a moment, and as she looked over at Rui a sinking feeling began to form in her stomach. All at once, she had many regrets. Mostly that she just might die. Even if Rui was offering to let her go, Rhea didn't know exactly how long that would last, her eyes flickering to the cases as she knew for a fact she was not going to be able to pick those up and run.
"Wait," she says, taking a step back and holding a hand up, letting her purse fall to the ground. "He didn't pay me in full. Money was a motivating factor, but I needed information more than anything else. And if this really is worst case scenario, you could at the very least let me change into something more...appropriate. To make the getaway." In one fell swoop Rhea lost the dress, though underneath Rui would see that Rhea was prepared as she began to untie the arms of her villain attire and began to don it, zipping it up just enough to cover herself. "I also cannot carry all that by myself. If you help, I'll give you a portion. Consider it an investment, considering you ruined any attempt to find the people I need." She kicked off her shoes, taking off the tights before pulling the boots out of her bag and putting them on. "I assume you know the informants Malachite knew?" 0 Victims

This was another boring day. Which wasn't awful in the slightest, but the more variance Rhea had the better she could break the monotony and determine a good course of action. Take today, for instance. She was once again replenishing the stores for the apartment, attempting to find something different to cook. Her father, being the freeloader that he was, couldn't be trusted to make sandwiches with any good flavor or texture, let alone a proper meal. While eating out was an option, it was 1). not healthy, and 2). lacking in the foods either of them grew up with.
Thankfully, some of the spices that she needed could be easily obtained in a part of Shibuya. It was time to restock, and while it would hurt the wallet for a time it'd be worth it for a few months. The problem she was currently running into was what to make...her mother, while a decent cook, was the primary breadwinner for a long while and the family had the pleasure of fine dining. Everything Rhea learned was second hand, either from descriptions or from research or from an old cookbook her mother had that Rhea thankfully had the foresight of salvaging before they lost everything. She thought back to it now, trying to remember something she hadn't made in it...pausing at the head of an alleyway. What was going on down there? 0 Victims

Rhea took in a breath, eyes scanning the place. She had an idea of the layout, but it wasn't anything compared to seeing the place. "I don't mind if you see them. But will the monsters be watching? I get a little camera shy, especially when you do that one thing I like.~" That was it, channel the nervous energy into something else. Jokes, flirts, anything. And while it wouldn't be as efficient as splitting up, Rhea was perfectly okay with dancing. It let her continue that outlet.
Despite her background and ability to perform, Rhea was a bit stiff as she pulled away to begin dancing. Part of it was trying to match the style and rhythm of the place, and part of it was the fact she was being recorded. However, another part was because the suit didn't fit on her as she'd like. The front zipper managed to move down a little more, and while she was conscious of it decided to leave it be; she knew she had appeal and flaunted it often, and this was no different. She'd just have to be conscious of any potential wardrobe malfunctions. "Thoughts so far?" She was getting at the lay of the land, but because it was open-ended it could mean anything. And Rhea didn't mind it so much. "Do we want to push, or to pull?" 0 Victims

As the song was finishing the glass shattered. That...was not part of the plan. Why was there a body being chucked out a window? Oh God, were those stab wounds? She knew she was going to be assisting in a murder-style mission, but her job in all this was as a distraction! And that little demon was giving her a thumbs up? At the very least, she could let some of her more visceral emotions surface; Rhea might be a singer, but when it came to performances she was multifaceted. The scream she let out was genuine as her own fear fueled it, though the crowd would never know the source of said fear.
She hurried off the stage, moving around the back of it as she snagged one of Malachite's workers, pressing her own quirk hard into her order: "Get me out of here!" It didn't feel good on her throat being as forced as it was, but with how overt things were going it was possible the police, sooner or later, would question her about it. If things were quiet she could easily feign ignorance, but now she could become an accessory. She'd worry about the money the people gave later, for now she had to get out of there.
"You will have to relocate," she says, hot on the heels of her escort once she made it to the rendezvous. "When the police come knocking on my door, I will have to feed them something. Any payment you have for me I expect in cash." The sweet, seductive face she wore when she met with Malachite had given way to her true nature, murderous and full of venom. It was clear she was not happy with their arrangement. 0 Victims
