Born in the outskirts of the small city of Franklinburg in the US of A, to parents Bobert and Jane Butler, Eugene was raised in a healthy home filled with alcohol, abuse and mostly random acts of violence. As all great men start their life he was loved and respected by his teachers and classmates, is what he will tell you, as he was in actuality feared and hated.
As he started drinking, he discovered his quirk at the healthy age of 8, much to the horror of his surroundings. His father Bobert, better known as Bludgeoner Bob, was a goon for the local crime family, and he saw great potential in Eugene’s abilities. This started Eugene’s career as a goon, something the world has had to deal with ever since. And so Eugene and his dad enjoyed their life beating up the weak and defenseless. That is until one of the larger crime syndicates elected to set up a franchise in Franklinburg. I won’t bore you with the gory details, for they are gory, but the end result was that little Eugene had to move to another town and Bobert had to move six feet under.
From here on Eugene became what is called a freelancer in the bizz, working for anyone for the right price, which coincidentally is almost always his last bar tab. Eugene’s choice of moving to Japan has mystified people that know him, not for the least of all that he will have to learn a new language, a Herculean task for someone that barely has a grasp of the English language.
