Akuto is a batshit insane twisted individual. His insanity manifested as an insatiable desire for excitement and a morbid curiosity about the limits of morality. Boredom, as his constant companion, has driven him to seek the thrill of chaos and unpredictability. That being said, he possesses an unnerving level of patience. His madness is driven both by impulsivity and a cold, calculated demeanor that allows him to bide his time and carefully orchestrate his plans. Akuto possesses a sharp intellect and a cunning ability to manipulate those around him. He sees authority as a hindrance to his pursuit of excitement, and views rules and order as mere obstacles to be dismantled. That being said, though he might be sharp and cunning, he is also highly unpredictable, as he is prone to mood swings. Disillusioned with living a boring life, all he really wants is to die. Though he wants to die, he wants anything but a boring death. He dreams of an epic confrontation at the hands of a formidable adversary, one that will give him the ultimate high before killing him. His eyes, a soft amber-orange hue, give off a gentle demeanor. His green hair is a bit past his shoulders, and he ties it in a ponytail which he throws casually tied into a shoulder-length side plait. Fashion-wise, he learns towards a more conservative and comfortable style. He opts for soft, feminine colors on his loose-fitting garments (cozy sweaters, knit cardigans, simple, well-worn jeans, etc.). [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]HISTORY Trigger Warning: Dead parents, Suicide Ideation There was something fundamentally wrong with Akuto from the day he was born although you wouldn't know that just by looking at him. He was born into a relatively normal family—well, about as normal as a family can get with a hero for dad. He had a normal, ordinary childhood growing up in Musutafu. He exhibited all the traits of a well-behaved and polite child. His parents saw him as an obedient son, and his peers knew him as a friendly boy. Little did they know that every smile, every polite word, was a carefully orchestrated act, a performance meant to help him blend seamlessly into the societal norms he despised. The facade of a good kid served as the perfect cover, allowing him to bserve and manipulate those around him without raising suspicion. Using his Quirk, he engaged in all sorts of deplorable acts and escaping without leaving behind a trace of his existence. He stole, he killed, and he was never caught, but such things eventually lost their entertainment value. He wondered what it would be like if he killed his parents. He had never felt any real affection towards them, but maybe he was wrong. After all, they raised him. Surely there was some primal feeling of love deep down? And so he did it. He killed them in their sleep by burning the house down and making it look like a horrible accident while he was away at school. And he felt absolutely nothing. What a disappointment. And so he spent the last couple of years chasing a high that didn't exist, and when he still failed to find the happiness that he was looking for, he came to a simple conclusion: Life isn't worth living. Still, it'd be awfully boring to simply off himself. He lived a boring life, he didn't want to die a boring way, and so he came up with an unhinged plan. He was going to befriend a hero, gain their trust, help them grow stronger, and have that hero kill him in a grand confrontation where he reveals his true nature. Surely that would satisfy him. [attr="class","body"] [attr="class","header2"]QUIRK QUIRK NAME: Blood Swap QUIRK RANK: A- QUIRK TYPE: Emitter QUIRK DESCRIPTION: Akuto's Quirk grants him the ability to swap the position of anything within a certain range of himself so long as it is marked by or contains his blood. When something swaps, it maintains its initial momentum. Furthermore, he can concentrate his quirk such that it only swaps certain things that his blood is marking so long as they are physically connected. For example, if he splatters his blood on someone's shirt, he can choose to swap the shirt or the person with another marked thing. Using the same example where he splatters his blood on someone, he would not be able swap that person's pants unless he also swapped their shirt. As a consequence of his quirk, Akuto's body tends to produce an abnormal amount of blood, causing him to need to drain himself of the excess on a daily basis. Even the smallest of cuts causes him to bleed profusely. Of course, this is also quite beneficial as it means he always has an ample supply for his Quirk. QUIRK DRAWBACKS: When he uses his Quirk, he can only swap two things at a time, and he cannot rapidly swap things in rapid succession. Each time he swaps, there is always a very brief lockout period before he can utilize his swap again. The amount of blood marking or contained within something determines if he can swap it. For example, a single drop of blood is more than enough to swap a marked coin in his hand for another marked coin, but to swap something like a marked coin and a car, the car would need to have been splattered with his blood. When he initiates the swap but before the swap occurs, the blood "burns" off into nothingness. If there wasn't enough Blood to complete the swap or there was no blood at all, the swap does not occur, but any remaining blood can be used future swaps.
