Lylyana was keeping an eye on her hellvoid energy, making sure it would cover them when the time came. She was confused by the girl being so excited by this. It was definitely a different energy. She watched her rub her hands together and take a deep breath. This was it. Time for action. She heard the girl scream out. She quickly put her eyes to the road. She also spread out her wings and closed them quickly, pulling Rui close to her so that they could both be hidden. She needed to be ready for when the human came running. She hoped she had caught the human in time before they got too far. It had been a few moments before a human came running down the trail. The guy must have been pretty far down the trail. As he stepped in front of the push, seven tendrils emerged, trapping the man within them. "Hellvoid Lockdown." She said as she emerged from the bush. "If you scream, I will cut out your tongue and make you suffer pain that you have never felt before." She snarled as she spread her wings out, revealing Rui from her position. "And that is how a tactical ambush is performed." She said, running her claw along the victim's neck, not putting enough pressure to break the skin. "Any questions?" Lylyth was not surprised as the anger from the secretary hit her. It was normal. Ishtar made a point to get in between so she would respect it. She wasn't going to antagonize Ishtar if she could avoid it. She was confused when she said the world wasn't black and white. "I have seen heroes murder people and other heroes and cops cover it up. The doctors are also in on it. The nicest people I have met have been villains or civilians. And in the woods, it is kill or be killed. Eat or die. That is the way of the wild." She said as she watched Ishtar make her way close to her. The cold creeping over her. The feeling of death shook over her. It was as if she was looking at death. It didn't bother her as much as it would most people. She was used to looking death in the face. It happened every time she struggled to find food until a human would come along. She was surprised to be called skin and bones. She thought she was able to get enough to thrive. Apparently she had not. She also wasn't expecting Ishtar to run her hand through Lylyana's hair. "I will come with you. I will warn you that I am cursed. Abandoned by my parents while I was young. Adopted mother murdered by a hero. Sister thrown in jail for false crimes. She watched the villain carefully as she sighed. She saw her reach into her purse. Ready to tighten the tendrils, she was surprised when she saw the mask. She calmed down, curious as to what the mask did. Then her next words were interesting. To re-acclimate would be interesting, however people were terrified of her. And she didn't trust the cops or heroes. Hunting as a job was interesting. It would be little different than what she already did, though probably more controlled. She watched the respirator slip over her face as the temperature suddenly dropped. This was concerning at best, terrifying at worst. What was she going to do? Was this woman one of those corrupt heroes. She instantly tensed as she then heard her say she was Ishtar, Queen of Heaven. She was going to kill Lylyana. That's all that went through her mind until she said she was a villain. Lylyana blinked and instantly began to relax. "Wait? You are a villain? Not one of those murdering heroes or corrupt cops?" She revealed a bit more than she probably should of, but her demeanor instantly changed compared to earlier. It was like the demon had gone away and the scared and timid girl had emerged. She instantly released the secretary from her tendrils as the Hellvoid energy dissipated. She wasn't sure what to say next. Lylyana was concerned. Looking closely in Sonya's eyes, she could see nothing. No true emotion. She hesitated with her hands trying to raise into a defensive position. She listened carefully to her first words and then hearing the hiss. A magnificent creature? That was the opposite of what she was. She was a demon. "I am a demon. Nothing more. And definitely not magnificent." She saw the grass curl and burn. She was scared of the powerful woman in front of her. She wasn't sure what to do. She began to look over the woman and realize this wasn't going to be a battle she could win. She would however use what she could to her advantage. "What would working for you entail? I have lived in these woods for six of the last eight years. What use would I be to someone from the city?" She snarled, unsure of whether to accept. It was an enticing offer, for certain. To show she was considering the offer, she loosened the grip on the secretary. The secretary wouldn't be released fully but would be able to move her hands better. "As a show of good faith, I go by Lylyth, the demon of the woods and daughter to Lilith, queen of Hell, mother of the succubi. What should I call you?" Lylyana cocked her head slightly. Not sure if strength is the reason they learned to recognize her, but it works. Then Rui mentioned that getting attacked was thrilling. What was this woman? Why would she want to be bait? "That's not quite what I meant by setting up an ambush, but I will show you when we get there." She led the woman to the windy trail, listening the the young woman singing her peppy tune. She was definitely bizarre compared to everyone she had met in the past. She was curious what was going through the young one's head. As they got to the trail, she began to speak. After listening, she thought it over for a little bit. "Humans are generally the easier hunt. We are going to set up an ambush." She looked around and noticed a thick bush that would cover them. She pointed to the bush and began to look over the trail. She noticed fairly fresh prints on the ground and ushered Rui to get behind the bush. "Someone went through here recently. I am going to set up the ambush. I need you to scream for help." She began to hide them behind the bush as her hellvoid energy began to fill the bush and cover them from the trail. "This hellvoid energy will cover us. Lylyana had captured the young assistant with relative ease. Thanking her knowledge and experience with ambush tactics, she smirked slightly. Shifting her face into a more serious one, she stood up. Her ripped and tattered clothing showing the length of time she had spent in the wilderness. The lack of dirt showing she still tried to take care of herself. She snarled to try to show her anger. She walked forward through the bushes, flexing her wings to make her seem bigger. She reached her left hand back towards the top of her tank top and gripped her necklace. "This is my home. For me to let her go, I would need tribute. I would also need you to forget I exist. It's better that way." She said, trying and failing to hold back the sadness in her voice. Friends are not allowed. Family will die. This is better. She hoped that the unrestrained woman was powerful enough to take her on. She could feel some power hidden behind the woman's voice. She preferred this to end peacefully. She did not want the woman to turn on her. Lylyana was walking through her woods, finding herself heading towards the mountains and back to her lair. She had been out for the day try to exercise and keep her body in shape enough that she could keep hunting in the hills. It wasn't the easiest hunt but it was necessary for her to survive. She was following along the trail when she heard noises. She pulled her wings close and hid down in a bush, hopefully sounding like an animal running. She kept her eyes down the trail through the bush as she watched two women walk up the trail. She began to listen in as the two made their way close to her. They had invaded her territory. She began to let her hellvoid energy seep out She was going to take them by surprise, hopefully get them to leave and forget she existed. She let the hellvoid fill the bush as she kept herself what she believed was hidden. Her wings would be easy to spot for someone who recognized something looking out of place. If she isn't spotted, then Kaede would be in for a surprise as seven black tendrils come flying from the bush at her to grab her arms and legs. "Why are you in my territory? Lylyana nodded. She was not sure what to think of Rui's energy. She was different. She was unlike Retsu who she had met before. She was also unlike her sister. She confirmed what Lylyana had confirmed to herself long ago. She was surprised how accepting she was of hunting. Most would probably shun her for it. It was then that Rui jumped to her feet. It was definitely unexpected. She was surprised at how close Rui had gotten to her. She wasn't prone to freaking out, but she wasn't expecting the girl to unravel. She blinked as she saw her skin unravel. She wasn't expecting only bone underneath. Lylyana at least knew that feeding on her was not an option now. She watched the bandage skin wrap around her hand as she felt the minor wounds begin to heal. She was amazed at how quickly Rui was able to heal her. She looked over her hand as Rui left it alone. This was amazing. Something that could possibly be used for the future. She was then asked if she was going to fight something. "That will be difficult. My normal game recognizes my scent as part of these woods, allowing me to get close. I cannot say the same for you. We will need a bear or human to end up in my territory. We will need to set up an ambush. There is a windy trail nearby used by both. We will be able to set up there." She pointed off to a nearby trail. Lylyana watched as Retsu took out a phone that was connected to some of her explosives. She looked over the phone. It reminded her of her sister's phone when she was living in Tokyo. She wasn't sure she knew how to use it but she would listen to her instructions nonetheless. She was carefully listening and nodding as she tries to learn to use the phone. She caught the phone carefully. She was going to make sure it was kept safe. She also understood the address that was told her. While she didn't know the area too well, she did understand what it was. She looked over the phone and found it interesting. It was simple to use from the look of it. She nodded and looked back to Retsu. Retsu had cleaned the fish and set them to cook. She was glad that it was going to be a simple night. It allowed her to eat the boar and possible even some fish. She nodded as Retsu prepared to grab the fish. Lylyana noted that a fire would be good and began to walk towards a weak tree. She struck the tree with her free hand, able to break it from the sheer force of the blow. Thankfully it was only about four inches think and was slightly rotted. She brought it over to the opening and began breaking more of the tree to be able to have firewood. She placed the broken wood into a pile, putting the smaller sticks into a different pile to start getting a base together. It took her a bit, but she was finished by the time Retsu got back to shore for the last time. Lylyana looked over the fish. It had been awhile since she last had fish. It was hard for her to hunt for fish. She did not have a body made for swimming. It made her ability to swim next to impossible. She then heard Retsu and blinked quickly. A phone? She didn't even have electricity. "I do not have a phone. I live out here with no access to electricity. It would be difficult for me to have a phone or to even pay for it." Lylyana looked surprised. Usually her title deterred people. It was odd to see her title entice someone. She was certain she mentioned someone terrifying to normal people. Then she referred to her as a queen. What? Did she do the title wrong? Or was she misunderstood. Either way, she was willing to deal with it. It was the next part that was odd. Queen Bestie? Who was this person? "Nice to meet you?" She said, slightly confused and concerned. She withdrew her Hellvoid energy when the woman put her hands up. She would calm down for now. What else would she do? Lylyana nodded. "I don't know what lead to them controlling Japan. I only know that humans are not worthy to run this country." She was concerned when Rui asked about her usually hunting patterns. She sighed. "I hunt whatever meat I can find. It does not matter the source. The only concern is that I get food to survive at this point." She hoped that it wouldn't sound too suspicious. And if she did figure it out, she wouldn't turn on her. Rui wasn't a fighter, but Lylyana had to be. It is a stark difference. "I do not have any wounds other than some minor scrapes from the brush as I travel through it looking for food." She said, examining herself. She didn't think she had anything still afflicting her at least. "I thank you for showing your power. I would love to see it." Lylyana looked back to her when she asked back back here often. That probably should have been obvious. She was surprised at her words. She shrugged and let Retsu explain about the fishing. Lylyana nodded as she explained how the grenades will work. She watched the grenade fly into the water. The geyser was not expected though, as she ducked back a bit. She looked back to Retsu as she was tossed a grenade. She caught it after bobbling it a bit. She gripped the grenade and began to pull the pin. She looked at where the previous grenade hit and began to aim a good ten meters to the left. She threw the grenade and watched the geyser. "Interesting." She said as she looked back at Retsu. "Thank you. Should we start rounding up fish?" She wondered as she wanted to make sure that they were grabbed for the food. She didn't want to waste it. She looked over to the boar and began to use her claws to cut the boar's leg. Once she gets the leg clean enough, she pulls the leg out of the socket. She bit into the boar, her razor sharp teeth tearing into the flesh of the boar. She was glad to finally have some food. She was certain that Retsu would not want the boar leg. Lylyana was not surprised when the girl screamed. It was a common reaction to her. Then she called her huge. Probably to be expected from the way she presented herself. She was going to have to keep an eye on her and possibly take her out. She was ready to unleash her quirk when the girl began to speak again. She was not expecting the reaction. Someone was looking for her? Why would anyone come looking for her unless they were police? She was not expecting rumors to reach the city. She thought she had killed everyone she had encountered. Now she needed to take out someone else and end these rumors. She then mentioned that her intentions were simple. She was actually going to spill them? Would they be truthful. She let out the hellvoid energy and was ready to take out the girl when she mentioned she was healer and she wanted to see how Lylyana fought. So was she a doctor? Those accursed people that deserved to be destroyed for helping police officers. "I am Lylyth, daughter of Lilith, queen of the succubi." She stated, hoping it would scare her into letting down her guard. Then the girl started talking about how the city said she was a villain. Lylyana calmed down quite a bit. She listened to what Rui was saying. She smiled as Rui said the right words. "I will allow you to see how I fight. And yes, humans are crazy. And many deserve death for their crimes against others. Lylyana had not been expecting it to hit her as hard as it did. While the light didn't really get through the wing due to the distance, the sound had rocked her a bit. She was able to recover quite quickly thankfully. She was confused by Retsu's statement. She had never heard the word prick before and was not sure who it referred to. "What is a prick and why would they get caught in it?" She tried to figure out what the woman meant by pricks. She watched the woman pick up the grenades and put them in her bag. Were they done? That's what went through Lylyana's head before the woman mentioned bringing them to the nearby lake. "The area should be safe. I have not been grenade fishing. I hunt via ambush and my abilities. We can, but I need to pick up my hunt on the way." She motioned for Retsu to follow her. She walked towards her catch and grabbed the boar in a way that would be easy to move. She carried it through the woods as she lead Retsu on the way to the lake. It was not too far but still required a hike through the woods. She finally got close to a clearing that she had created that would allow her access to the lake and still have room to eat and take care of stuff. "Here we are." Lylyana gave her a weird look after saying sounds rough. That seemed like an understatement. She was glad the woman didn't push further into the mess. It was a complicated story to explain. She watched as the woman placed the bag on the ground and began pulling weird metal devices out of the bag. She listened carefully, making sure she knew what they were. The devices were definitely interesting. After listening to the woman explain everything, she began to think. They were interesting and had their uses. The fragmentation grenade was too dangerous for the situation. She didn't want to shred through prey, nor did she want to hurt herself. She looked over to the stun grenade and leaned over to grab it. The pins seemed a little smaller for her fingers. They were probably designed for those without mutations. She gripped the stun grenade and fit her finger into the pin. "Like this?" She struggled thanks to her large fingers, but was able to pull the pin out.
