[PTab=OVERVIEW]
Zoey is a young university freshman with medium length burgundy hair and red eyes with black sclerae. She has a bit of an overbite. Her build is a touch bulky, especially in her upper body which houses a pair of conspicuously robotic looking arms. As a result of this, she typically wears a variety of the U.A.U. uniform consisting of a vest rather than a blazer. She has a habit of playing with her hair to help her focus.[break][break]

Zoey was believed to be quirkless early in life. Her father had a quirk that let him manipulate iron, while her mother had a super strength quirk. Apparently they combined in her in some way, leading to her quirk, Mechamorphosis. While this quirk has several astounding benefits, American doctors estimate that Zoey won't be able to live past 35 due to the quirk's continued spreading. [break] [break]
This gave Zoey a bit of a "live fast, live hard" attitude. She wants to see the world and get things done, while her parents were more focused on finding a way to treat her quirk, to make it stop progressively advancing across her body. It was only as Zoey was in high school that she began to understand the financial strain this was placing on her family, so she brought up going through U.A.U's Hero Department as a student. This led to arguing, her parents believing that Zoey wasn't ready to go halfway across the world on her own, but her and her kid brother insisting that it'd save the family money and that U.A.U's history of excellence will make her an incredible hero. [break] [break]
To Zoey's mom and dad, Zoey was a sick girl who needed help. Zoey and her brother believed herself to be a capable young woman who could do anything she put her mind to. They ran through drills so that she could learn spoken Japanese. Zoey submitted her application to U.A.U. without her parents' knowledge after graduating high school and got a temp job to pay her airfare and part of her tuition, with the rest hopefully to be covered by several scholarship applications aimed at heroes and international students. [break] [break]
It was only when Zoey started packing that her parents learned what she was up to. Naturally, a huge argument ensued, but Zoey was adamant that this was the right thing to do for her health, family and studies. Silence fell and, with barely the phrase "I'm an adult anyway, you can't tell me what to do", she slung her half-packed bag over her shoulder and walked to the airport, getting ready for the practical exam. [break] [break]
Zoey is headstrong and tenacious, always seeking to do right by others and craving excitement. She wants to become a great hero at U.A.U, save herself from her quirk, and go back to America triumphant when her studies conclude. With access to the wide array of quirk-related knowledge at U.A.U, and general healthcare as a Japanese resident, she thinks all of this will be doable.

[PTab=STATISTICS]
» AWARENESS (D-)[break] Zoey has little practical combat experience or training. | » SPEED (D-)[break] Despite strong legs, she is slowed down by her bulky upper body. | » DEXTERITY (C)[break] Zoey has decent aim and reaction speed. |
» STRENGTH (D)[break] Zoey is not especially strong outside of her quirk. | » DURABILITY (C-)[break] Zoey has to carefully block attacks lest she be overcome quickly. | » VITALITY (C-)[break] She is headstrong, with decent willpower and stamina. |
[break]
» QUIRK: Mechamorphosis (B-)[break]
» QUIRK TYPE: Mutation [break]
» BENEFITS: Zoey's quirk slowly replaced parts of her upper body, namely arms, with iron robotic alternatives as she aged. When using her arms for a task her quirk rank can replace her Strength rank. Within her elbows are large holes which feed into a retractable gauss cannon that emerges from her wrist. Any ferrous object deposited into the feed can be fired out at will as ammunition.[break]
» DRAWBACKS: The large iron concentration in Zoey's body makes her extra susceptible to magnetic attacks; likewise, the gauss cannon aspect of her quirk depends on stable bioelectricity, which can be disrupted if she overuses her quirk (also causing dizziness and numbness, affecting her dexterity) or is hit by any kind of electric attack. The continued "spreading" of quirk-affected parts of her body is a potential serious health risk over time. [break] [break]
» MISC ITEMS[break]
» CELL PHONE: Contained within a black case is Zoey's cellphone. It has various contacts, including family and friends from America, and the system language is kept in English. [break]
» STEEL BALL POUCH: Zoey keeps a pouch stocked with ferrous steel balls handy for use with her quirk. They are the "gold standard" of ammunition for her, being broadly legal to transport and easy to restock when needed. They don't have a very good effective range and any support item ammunition would likely be vastly more effective. [break]
» U.S. PASSPORT: Zoey's US passport gives her the freedom to legally travel to most countries and functions internationally as photo identification. [break]
» JAPANESE STUDENT VISA: Zoey's Visa ensures that immigration authorities have authorized her stay in Japan. This does not, however, substitute for a work visa.[break] [break]
